Height is usually always dominated by genetics. How short are your parents? if you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you won't grow very much more. There are no amazing magic ways to get taller. Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get tons of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching. Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height. Take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water.

Dear Mayank, You can have alcohol with Nalcon. There is no reaction. You may not enjoy alcohol like before since Nalcon reduces the effect of good feeling with alcohol. So there will not be any craving for alcohol. You may drink less units of alcohol or may not feel like drinking again.

HI, I'm 45 yrs. Old & my total cholesterol is 227 mg/dl ,HDL 38 & LDL 166, triglycerides 140 mg/dl ,VLDL is 28. 1 mg/dl with TC/HDL 5.9,LDL/HDL 4.3 NON HDL CHOLESTEROL 188.13. I'm absolutely fit, no sugar or BP .Also we have family history of cardiac arrest, my father had first attack at the age of 44 & he died of heart attack at the age of 54. As of today I have no health issue but as you can see my cholesterol level is not normal. I'm 100% vegetarian, do not consume even an egg. Try to consume as less oil as possible but still cholesterol level is high. What do you suggest? Is the cholesterol level high enough to start statins? How can I lower TLC level?

HI, I'm 45 yrs. Old & my total cholesterol is 227 mg/dl ,HDL 38 & LDL 166, triglycerides 140 mg/dl ,VLDL is 28. 1 mg/...
Since you have a family history of premature coronary artery disease, you have a high risk of developing heart disease and earlier than your peers, So we should aggressively manage your Cholesterol and try and keep LDL levels below 100. In diet, it is important to avoid fried, sugary or high carbohydrate foods. You can have egg white if you want and also lean meat like fish or chicken if you want. Consult a dietician for a detailed diet consult. Exercise daily for 45 mins. And start taking cholesterol control medications. Consult a cardiologist near you, or consult in private for a prescription with lipid profile, RFT and TMT report.

My wife 53 yr. Diabetic fasting 135 pp 185 please advise homeo & ayurveda medicine.
Diabetes affects all organs in the body – Eyes, kidneys, nerves, reproductive system all are affected, In fact, from toe to hair. For diabetic control, patient and doctor should be in constant touch for regular follow up and advice. The common symptoms are:-Both types of diabetes have some of the same tell-tale warning signs. Hunger and fatigue. Your body converts the food you eat into glucose that your cells use for energy. But your cells need insulin to bring the glucose in. If your body doesn't make enough or any insulin, or if your cells resist the insulin your body makes, the glucose can't get into them and you have no energy. This can make you more hungry and tired than usual. Urinating more often and being thirstier. The average person usually has to pee between four and seven times in 24 hours, but people with diabetes may go a lot more. Dry mouth and itchy skin. Because your body is using fluids to make pee, there's less moisture for other things. You could get dehydrated, and your mouth may feel dry. Dry skin can make you itchy. Blurred vision. Changing fluid levels in your body could make the lenses in your eyes swell up. They change shape and lose their ability to focus. Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance. If you keep in touch personally. Hi, It's normal to get withered skin if one puts hand for a long time in water. And adding to it, the weather also aggravates the problem. If you're looking to maintain hydrated skin, there are steps you can take, including: Avoid exposure to dry air Avoid prolonged contact with hot or chlorinated water Use a gentle cleanser instead of soap Avoid using skin care products that contain alcohol Moisturize immediately after a bath or shower and regularly throughout the day Use a humidifier Wear a scarf and gloves when going out in cold weather If you're concerned about dry skin, contact your health care provider or a dermatologist. You can improve your dry skin by good and healthy intake of food which should includes vitamin A, C, E and protein, lots of water, application of good sunscreen before going out. Drink 10-12 glasses of water, take more of fruits, vegetables, salads, almonds in diet. Sleep for 7-9hrs. daily. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Alfaalfa Tonic, Psorinum 200/ once daily and Petroleum 200/ twice daily, take them for 1 month. Use Schwabe's Skin care bathing bar, Calendula & Aloe vera all purpose cream, Bakson's Body oil to be applied.
