Hello lybrate-user, There are no such medicines that can help to weight loss. For weight loss we need to burn our fats tissues (ie, stored fats as energy that our body has stored for a long time), and another thing should go hand-in-hand with this, ie, to eat the right amount of food, just the amount needed, otherwise our body again starts storing that extra amount of energy in the form of fats. So how to avoid over-eating or add satiety value to our plate, we can add pulses, more vegetables and fruits in our diet. Instead of having fried snacks we can always go for having one whole fruit whenever we feel like eating after lunch or breakfast. Always eat maximum in breakfast, moderate in lunch and minimum at dinner. Also consult to your treating physician for how long you can exercise daily. I hope this will be helpful to you. Thank you. You are only 22 years old and it is good to know that heart check ups have been done and there is nothing wrong in reports. It can be anxiety due to exams/ jobs/ never ending household work and lots more. Learn to relax , go for long walks ,eat well ,be disciplined and take your mind away from heart disease. If you can , do visit a heart center near you to see for yourself about real heart disease , May be you can help patients get back to Normal , this will heal them more and help you too !

Hair fall is common now a days. Due to stress and eating habits. And some illness, like anemia, thyroid and hereditary problems. Take following homoeo medicine. Acid hydroflouric 30 (30 ml sbl company). 1 drop 3 times per day x 14 days on tongue. Do not take anything 15 min before after medicine. ALSO use arnica montana Q 30 ml + 100 ml pure coconut oil mix and use before wash twice weekly. Use arnica homoeopathic shampoo take plenty water 3 to 4 liters per day. Hello, It is a very healthy drink which helps in controlling metabolism and is also a natural detoxifier loaded with antioxidants. Avoid boiling them,as their nutritionally properties are lost.

There is no risk of pregnancy since you had sex during the safe period.it is not implantation bleeding.It could be because of mild trauma during sexual intercourse

Please take rhus tox 200 - thrice daily for next 3-4 days. Also -- soak a washcloth in cool tap water, wring out the excess water and then sponge areas like your armpits, feet, hands and groin to reduce the temperature. Also, you can place cold, damp washcloths on your forehead and the back of your neck. The cloth pieces should be changed regularly after a few minutes. This remedy is beneficial when dealing with a high fever as it helps keep temperature under control. You can also take a bath in lukewarm water to relax your body. Taking a shower, however, may not be a good idea. Plus, needless to say, take as much rest as possible as it helps the body fight the illness. Note: do not use very cold water as it may cause the internal body temperature to increase. Consult me for homeopathic treatment. Recommend me by clicking on recommend option and leave feedback.

Dietary changes to maintain normal blood pressure:

In order to maintain normal blood pressure levels, various dietary modifications will have to be made. However, one can easily avoid medication of high blood pressure by taking some precautions while eating:

Eat a low sodium diet – Eating a low sodium diet doesn’t mean simply adding less salt to your meals; it also indicates consuming less of processed foods. This is because processed foods, canned foods and fast foods contain a high amount of sodium which affects the blood pressure adversely.

Include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet – Eat lots of fruits and vegetables since they are rich in potassium and this mineral helps to lower the blood pressure. Fresh fruits are also rich in sodium, magnesium, calcium and anti-oxidants and together these help to control the blood pressure levels. Some useful fruits are apricots, bananas, avocados, melons, oranges, lemons, prunes, grapefruit, dates and raisins.

Limit your alcohol intake – Most people know that moderate amounts of alcohol can help to lower your blood pressure levels but people interpret this act the way they like. They drink alcohol in excess and this affects the blood pressure adversely. Limit your alcohol intake to a maximum of 2 per day to keep your blood pressure under control.
Reduce your caffeine intake – although caffeine raises your blood pressure levels very slowly, it does have a negative effect when consumed regularly. Also, the amount of caffeine you drink also makes a huge difference. One should not drink more than 200 mgs per day. You may take in one shot or divide it in to 2-3 small shots.


Stop smoking – The nicotine that is emitted from cigarette smoke is really dangerous, not only for your lungs but also for your heart. If you are smoke, you are not only endangering yourself but also all those around you. Quit smoking as soon as you can.

Eat only whole grains – Eating whole grains is as effective as anti-hypertensive medicines, since they contain lots of potassium and thus help to control blood pressure. They also contain many other nutritious elements such as fiber, selenium, magnesium, folate and iron. One should eat at least 85 gms of whole grains such as oats, wheat, brown rice, popcorn, quinoa and breakfast cereals.

Avoid fats – Excess of cholesterol and bad fats clogs the arteries. Limit your intake of fat and consume only good fats. Choose foods that contain omega-3 fatty acids. Try steaming, baking, grilling and boiling over frying foods. Food can easily be cooked with a very small amount of fat. It might not taste as good initially but this is what is good for your heart. Replace full fat yoghurt with low fat yoghurt.

Eat lean meats – Avoid red meats. Consume chicken and fish that contains omega-3 fatty acids. Bake, roast and grill the poultry but avoid frying. Salmon, tuna and herring are heart-healthy varieties of fish.

Limit your intake of sugar – Consume only natural sources of sugar such as fruits, raisins, dates and maple syrup. Avoid aerated beverages and packed juices since these contain a lot of sugar. Avoid unnecessary snacking and don’t eat huge portions. Try not to consume foods that contain high fructose corn syrup. This includes ketchups, crackers and soft drinks.

With the increase in pollution levels, stress and more and more people living a sedentary lifestyle, the use of antibiotics has become common place. Today, many people do not even wait to consult a doctor before popping a pill. Antibiotics may relieve your symptoms and make you feel better soon but is this all they do? Recent studies have shown that the long term and frequent use of antibiotics can have a number of negative side-effects on our health.

One of the most common side-effects of antibiotics is lowered immunity. Instead of working with the body’s immune system, antibiotics override this system and hence weaken it in the long run. Antibiotics do not differentiate between good bacteria and bad bacteria and remove both from our system. In some cases, antibiotics can even make good bacteria act like bad bacteria. They also disturb the digestive system. Both constipation and diarrhea are common complaints expressed by patients taking antibiotics.

One way to deal with these side-effects is to take even more antibiotic medication that treats the side effects. However, in the long run, these may have side effects of their own. Many times, we do not realize the effect these medications have on our bodies until much later. A better alternative would be to turn towards holistic forms of medication such as homeopathy. Homeopathy is favoured for a number of reasons. It does not look only at the symptoms presented but looks at the patients overall physical, mental and emotional health. The patient’s age and gender can also play a role in determining the best remedy for him or her. Thus, though two people may have a similar complaint, they may be prescribed completely different medication. Homeopathic remedies are usually prescribed in low dosages and have negligible side effects. Unlike antibiotics, these medications work to strengthen the immune system and help the body fight against bacteria and viruses on its own.

Homeopathy can also help relieve side effects caused by the consumption of antibiotics. Some of the common homeopathic remedies for this include Nux Vomica, Sulphur, Hepar Sulph, Cortisonum and Acid Nitricum. The ideal remedy depends on the antibiotic that caused the distress and the symptoms being experienced among other things. Hence, it is not advised to self-medicate. Instead, consult a homeopathic doctor who can help prescribe the perfect medication. Along with the right remedy, a doctor will also be able to suggest the right potency and frequency of the medication.
