MD - Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine Specialist, Mumbai
Hi, to prevent migraine attacks following measures must be used. 1) avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them. 2) establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. 3) regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. 4) obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight. 5) migraines and estrogen seems to trigger or make your headaches worse, you may want to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen which include birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy. You will also benefit for medical therapy if having recurrent migraine attacks. Follow these prevention regimen tips

What are the symptoms of malaria and what we should do in that case? Is malaria a harmful disease? And what safety we have to take so that it cannot spread?

What are the symptoms of malaria and what we should do in that case? Is malaria a harmful disease? And what safety we...
Hi Mr. lybrate-user, Malaria is an acute febrile illness. In a non-immune individual, symptoms appear 7 days or more (usually 10–15 days) after the infective mosquito bite. The first symptoms – fever, headache, chills and vomiting – may be mild and difficult to recognize as malaria. Vector control is the main way to prevent and reduce malaria transmission. If coverage of vector control interventions within a specific area is high enough, then a measure of protection will be conferred across the community. WHO recommends protection for all people at risk of malaria with effective malaria vector control. Two forms of vector control – insecticide-treated mosquito nets and indoor residual spraying – are effective in a wide range of circumstances.
