I am 26 Years old I am Male last 5 months later head pain eyes and nose what is the problem sir.
Dear lybrate-user, you had sinus. Sinusitis is the inflammation of one or more of the sinuses, or mucous membrane that lines the sinuses, especially frontal sinuses of the face, usually seen in winter or change of season. Sinuses are air-filled cavities in the bones of the face and skull which are lined with mucous membrane. Sinusitis causes headache, facial pain and discharge of mucus from the nose, which may be allergic. Sinusitis is generally caused by infection spreading from nose to the sinuses via their respective meatuses because the facial and frontal sinuses have direct link with the nose. Sinusitis may be acute or chronic. In acute sinusitis, there is frontal headache, tenderness and soreness over the affected sinus, blocked nose, heavy aching around the eyes, swelling of eyelids, facial pain on either side of the nasal cavity and toothache, worse from stooping. Mucous membranes of the nasal sinuses and nose are swollen, causing blocked or stuffy feeling in nose. Chronic sinusitis and chronic cold are very much related to each other. When the common cold persists for more than 7-10 days, catarrhal symptoms may appear, with thick, copious white, yellow or green nasal discharge, sometimes with offensive smell. This condition continues for a long time and causes swelling of nasal mucous membrane, that in turn blocks the nose. In chronic sinusitis, drainage of pus from the sinuses becomes necessary from frequent attacks of sore throat, due to dropping of mucus from psoterior nares into the throat, laryngitis or bronchitis may occur. Homeopathy medicines can cure it.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 17 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

Hi lybrate-user kumar. I have a few suggestions for you regarding the usage of computers, mobile phones and books. The first thing to remember is that long term continuous usage of mobile phones or computers is harmful for the eyes. Ranging from dry eyes to multiple postural defects, there are many consequences. The good news is that there are simple tips and solutions to avoid these problems from occurring. Let me enumerate them in brief: follow the rule of" 20" this means that every 20 minutes, take a gap of 20 seconds, blink your eyes actively 20 times and focus at an object which is minimum 20 feet away. This will help in relieving your eyes from the continuous strain that is caused due to staring. Staring at the computer continuously causes us to subconsciously blink less than normal. This causes the tear film on the surface of the eye to dry up. The result of this is pain, discomfort, etc. Another suggestions regarding the usage of computers is to maintain a proper posture. The computer must be positioned at the same height as your eye level. The neck should not be inadvertently flexed or extended. Remember the rule of 90. Roughly, an angle of 90 degrees should be maintained between your upper body and thighs. Likewise, a similar angle (90 degrees) should be maintained between your lower legs and thighs. Also the angle between your hands and arms should be roughly 90 degrees. This is the healthy ergonomic way of sitting while using a computer. Maintenance of proper posture would help in further relieving the symptoms of eye discomfort and pain. Also remember the rule of 1. At least 1 time in a day, wash your eyes with clean hands and clean water in a gentle manner. Exercise for at least 1 hour in a day. Try to spend 1 hour with nature. (eg. In a park, garden, etc.) you could consider preservative free lubricant eye drops 4 to 5 times daily. These eye drops would ensure that your eyes stay well lubricated and fresh. All these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine. Once followed, they are sure to work wonders for you. You could also use a preservative free lubricant eye drop 4 to 5 times in a day. Also, adequate sleep of 7 hours a day is essential in order to maintain healthy eyes. For further queries, it would be a better idea to do a video consultation or audio consultation via lybrate. Hope my suggestions help you. Take care.

Hello. Eye redness is most often due to swollen or dilated blood vessels. This makes the surface of the eye look red. There are many causes of a red eye or eyes like infection, allergy. Foreign body in eyes. Some are medical emergencies and some are a cause for concern, but not an emergency. Others are nothing to worry about. Consult your local eye specilist to see what is the cause

I am diagnosed as case of atypical depression. From past few years I was not in mood of starting antidepressant medications. So after being seeing positive reviews of people on the internet and support from Lybrate doctors. Finally I got convinced to start medications. So started on tab. bupropion. Even I have seen some reviews on the internet where people are on antidepressants from several years. If antidepressants really works then why people are on antidepressants for years. Is it dependence or wht? I really don't want to knock with someone which will really make me addicted for lifetime.

Hi I am very glad that you asked this question, which many people have in mind. To explain you this I will give you one example. When we get frequent acidity that is mainly because of our wrong eating habit and sometimes other causes. We advise such patients to be on diet and medicines. Once patient stops medicines but goes back to old wrong eating habits, then the condition worsens and he needs to start on medicines again. So is he addicted to medicines or wrong food habits. He needs to change lifestyle with temporary support of medicines. Same way as our thinking is so our actions are and so the brain neurotransmitters released. Constant habit of negative thinking leads to same release of neurotransmitters and person needs to take medicine to correct depression to get these neurotransmitters in balance. He feels better, stops medicines and if he again falls back to same old negative thoughts he will suffer again. But during medications if he takes some thought changing therapies (includes gaining insight in thinking patterns), meditation, to improve his thinking to make himself strong to face adversities of life. He doesn't fall back to same problem whether it's depression or anxiety. Remember thoughts are our mental diet. If we are careful of our diet about calories even in biscuits now, then why can't we take some preventive measures of learning some self improvement techniques and mediation. For this reason we suggest our client to take therapy sessions along with medicines. Thank you.

Hello, Bloodshot eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: Eye dryness Too much sun exposure Dust or other particles in the eye Allergies Infection Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. Other causes of eye redness include Colds or allergies, Acute glaucoma, Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses. Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two. Management (tell him to do): - Try to rest the eyes if redness is due to fatigue or eye strain. No other treatment is needed. - Wash hands, hold clean water in hand, keep eyes closer to the water and dip the eyes by blinking the eyelids frequently in the water. Repeat it for 3-4 times again. - Avoid watching T.V., working on computer or mobile, reading or frequently keep blinking your eyes to avoid dryness. Take frequent breaks in between. - In case there is itching, use a clean napkin or a tissue to wipe the tears and cleaning the eyelids gently. -Wear an UV-rays protected sunglasses while out in sun. Medication: Homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe’s Belladonna 30 and Euphrasia 30 - both thrice daily for 4 days. Use Euphrasia Eye drops twice daily. Revert back thereafter.

My eyes are itching from 5 days what should I do to prevent this itching in my eyes?
Is your itching very severe? are you on the laptop entire day? for starters, please wash your eyes every time you come home from outside coz the itching/ allergy is often due to the dust and pollutants which settle in the eye, which is not washed away. Alternatively use some antiallergic eyedrops.

If chalazion has not responded to all the treatments you have taken then you will need to undergo incision and curettage. A small nick will be made on the swelling from the inner side of eye lid and all the collected secretions will be cleared.

Hi, Take homoeopathic medicine for increasing memory - Anacardium 200/ once daily. Management: -Meditate for at least 15 to 30 minutes each day physically changes your brain, making you less anxious, and more rational and empathetic. -Besides increasing your physical strength and flexibility, yoga changes your brain. Research suggests that in addition to reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, yoga protects the brain from shrinking with age. -Exercise daily as it would can help offset the cognitive decline brought on by aging and increasingly sedentary lifestyles. -Get enough sleep. On average, adults need between 7.5 and 9 hours of sleep each night. When you aren’t getting enough sleep, it affects your brain’s ability to do this, and your memory suffers. -Spend time with people whose company you enjoy, and who make you feel like the best version of you. -laughter can improve short-term memory in older adults. -Cutting down on your use of technology (i. E. Sitting in front of your computer, phone, or tablet) for even 30 minutes can improve your brain health and help you think more deeply.

Doctor I have some pain in my eyes because I am watching television so what I do.
The pain of eyes is due to staining on eyes .While watching TV or using mobile for long intervals continuously, eyes get exhausted. While watching TV/Mobile make sure that the lightening in room is proper and you are at least at a distance of 10 Feet from TV to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the TV/Mobile screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of TV/Mobile usage or take frequent breaks. Homoeopathic medicine CINELUBE EYE DROPS ( HAPDCO) Pour 2 drops 3 times daily.
