I have red eyes last 3 months sometimes they are yellow too is this due to less water consumption?

I have red eyes last 3 months sometimes they are yellow too is this due to less water consumption?
Eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: • Eye dryness • Too much sun exposure • Dust or other particles in the eye • Allergies • Infection • Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. These may be due to: • Blepharitis: Swelling along the edge of the eyelid. • Conjunctivitis: Swelling or infection of the clear tissue that lines the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This is often referred to as "pink eye." • Corneal ulcers: Sores on the cornea most often caused by a serious bacterial or viral infection. Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. The cause is most often not known. It may be related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. The type of uveitis that causes the worst red eye is called iritis, in which only the iris is inflamed Homoeopathic medicine EUPHRASIA 30 ( Dr Reckeweg) Drink 2 drops direct on tongue every 2-3 hrly CINERARIA /EUPHRASIA EYEDROPS ( SBL ) pour into eyes 1-2 drops 3 times daily

I have a red eyes when I am using mobile fluently so what can I do to relief from please solve my problem.
Here are the instructions for mobile phone use: Here are seven super quick and easy ways to give your eyes a break during your all those smartphone marathon sessions. 1. Blink, blink and blink again. Blinking often (and for more than a second) keeps your eyes moist and reduces dryness and irritation. We tend blink about a third less than we normally would when we stare at our smartphone screens, which starves our poor peepers of protective tears. Keep your eyes wet by blinking about 10 times every 20 minutes or so and you should be good to go. 2. Minimize glare. Unless you have a smartphone equipped with anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass or use a matte screen protector film, you’re probably coping with a fair amount of annoying reflective glare. 3. Take breaks. Follow 20-20-20 rule. The concept is to take a break from looking at your screen every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away. Doing so relaxes your eye muscles 4. Adjust your brightness. Having your screen too bright or too dark stresses your eyes out and can cause problems maintaining focus. To eliminate either issue in about a matter of seconds, simply go into your smartphone settings and adjust your screen brightness so it’s about the same as the light level in the environment around you 5. Tweak your text size and contrast. Adjusting your smartphone text contrast and size also provides a little much-needed relief. 6. Keep a clean screen. Routinely wipe down your smartphone screen with a dry (not wet!) cleaning cloth to remove distracting dust, grime, smudges and fingerprints. 7. Hold your smartphone farther away. Try holding yours at least 16 to 18 inches away from your eyes to give your eyes a break.

May be the screen resolution and lights are giving your eyes discomfort. In general, working long hours on screen/omputer can lead to a condition called computer vision syndrome. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. Also try to blink your eyes properly while work. Use good tear substitutes like genteal 4 times a day. And anti glare screen for your system. Use eyedrops genteal 3 times a nd zoneph 4 times a day. Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Papayas, mangoes yellow fruits nuts butter. Strain less your eyes.

I have red eye for 5 days. What should I do? Is it conjunctivitis or something else?

I have red eye for 5 days. What should I do? Is it conjunctivitis or something else?
Dear red eye has many causes. You have to see if it is associated with blurring of vision, pain, discharge and other complaints. But commonly its allergic or infective in origin ie allergic or infective conjunctivitis. Which has simple treatment protocol. But still its wise to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough slit lamp examination to rule out other differentials for acute red eye.

Hello, Take healthy balanced diet including whole grains, green leafy vegetables, fruits and nuts. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. Take a sound sleep of 8 hours minimum. Apply bakson's under eye cream on the dark circles. Apply Patanjali aloe vera gel on the whole face at night. Home remedy:-1.Cucumbers have skin-lightening and mild astringent properties that help fix those raccoon eyes naturally. Plus, they have a soothing and refreshing effect. Cut a fresh cucumber into thick slices and chill them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Put the slices onto the affected skin area for about 10 minutes. Wash the area with water. Repeat twice daily for about a week or more. Another option is to mix cucumber juice with lemon juice in equal amounts. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture on the affected skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with water. Follow this remedy daily for at least one week. 2.Raw Potato:-There are natural bleaching agents present in potato that can help lighten dark circles and get rid of puffiness around the eyes. Grate one or two raw potatoes to extract the juice. Soak a cotton ball in the juice and place it over your closed eyes. Make sure the juice covers the dark circles under your eyes as well as the eyelids. Allow the juice to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse your eyelids well with cool water. Repeat once or twice daily for a few weeks. Instead of potato juice, you can also use thick potato slices to remove dark circles. 3.Tomato:-Tomatoes have bleaching properties that can lighten skin to a great extent. Mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with one-half teaspoon of lemon juice. Gently apply this mixture on the dark circles and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with water. Follow this remedy twice a day for a few weeks. Simply using tomato juice will also work. You can also drink a glass of tomato juice with some mint leaves, lemon juice and salt. For maximum results, be sure to drink this juice immediately after making it. Drink it once or twice a day for about a week. :- Rose water Rose water has incredible ingredient for skin care. It rejuvenates the skin and has a soothing effect on tired eyes. Due to its mild astringent properties, it also works as a good skin toner. * Soak cotton eye pads in pure rose water for a few minutes. *Put the soaked pads on your closed eyelids. *Leave them on for about 15 minutes. *Follow this remedy twice daily for a few weeks.

I have problem of not eye contact with others? What I can do for eye contact? Any asanas have for this problem?
Lybrate-user thiss show you nature and lack of self confidence is one of the main reason for this problem other than drug addiction.-------------------actually this is a problem of majority of the youth in your age who are in darkness regarding their future. This doesnot mean that everything iss over, it is the start of a new journey and most of us face such problems in the start of their carrier and the difference is that some come out early from this ssituation and many like you finds it difficult to come out. But the basic principle is to keep on trying and always think about one thing whenever you face a failure that god has planned something better for you and better luck next time. Once you are out of this situation or if I say, the moment you have a placement in a job, all your worries will be gone. Means in nuthell that by experiencing such moments in your life you always learn something and thiss lays a foundation stone for your bright future. So keep on trying until you succeed and never loose heart because there is no space for disheartened or laggard people in thiss harsh world.--------------self-confident people are admired by others and inspire confidence in others. They face their fears head-on and tend to be risk takers. They know that no matter what obstacles come their way, they have the ability to get past them. Self-confident people tend to see their lives in a positive light even when things aren't going so well, and they are typically satisfied with and respect themselves.-------------- if you don't believe in yourself, how do you expect anybody else to---- homoeopathic medicine---- aconite nap 1m (dr reckeweg) drink 5 drops today night itself and forget this medicine now for 15 days p. L. 30. Ask the homoeopathic pharmacit to prepare thi medicine 2 drahm in 30 number globules and tart taking 4 tabs 3 timess daily for 15 days starting from tomorrow.- report me after 30 days-- for proper management for how to build your self confidence, you can conult me and start taking the above medicines nd see for any change inyour life style-

Computer screen is made up of hundreds of tiny pixels that are constantly moving. Our eyes in turn are not naturally able to set focus on these constantly moving pixels, and hence we try to focus on an area behind the actual screen. Therefore, while watching on a creen, our eyes need to keep on fluctuating focus between their natural point of focus and the pixels on the screen. And this tires the eyes and causes a lot of wear and tear.As a result, we suffer from irritation, which may range from a number of things like headaches, dry eyes, watering eyes,, blurred vision, problems in focusing and faulty color perception, to something as severe as glaucoma. Moreover it is more distressing for our eyes to view contents on a screen which requires even more concentration and extenive usage of eyes without blinking thus causing Eye dryness and Redness making them vulnerable to frequent Eye problemss. . The solution for this problem I its reduced usage of TV andd computers and use them inproper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the computer screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of computer usage or take frequent breaks. Homoeopathic medicine R-78 Drops ( Dr reckeweg) Drink 10 drops 3 times daily in 20 ml fresh water CINERIA MARITINA EYE DROPS( Dr Reckeweg) without alcohol.Pour 2-3 drops in both eyes 3 times daily. To completely correct the number, only way is to use glasses or contact lens. It can' t be reduced to 0, neither by ayurvedic nor allopathic medicines. But after age of 20 yrs when your number stabilizes you can go for lasik. It will completely neutralise your number and then you will not require any specs.

4 Tips for a Great Eyesight

4 Tips for a Great Eyesight

4 Tips for a Great Eyesight

An important organ of the body, eyes must never be taken for granted and need to be protected at all times. In addition to protecting them, you also need to improve as well as maintain their overall health.

Here are some of the ways of keeping your vision in top form:

1. Eat for good eye vision

To have healthy eyes and consequently good vision, you need to have foods that keep them in good health. Nutrients like Zinc, Vitamins C and E and Omega-3 fatty acids can help to fend off age-related sight problems such as cataracts or macular degeneration (a condition characterized by the deterioration of the middle portion of the retina). Foods like eggs, nuts, green leafy vegetables, oranges and citrus fruits are what you need to have to get good eye health.

2. Kick the smoke habit

Smoking can adversely affect your eye health and can make you prone to eye conditions like cataracts, macular degeneration and damage of optic nerve (a nerve that transmits impulses from the eyes to the brain). By kicking this habit, you end up saving your eyes from irreversible damage.

3. Use sunglasses

Exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays for a long period of time can make you prone to common eye problems including cataracts. To protect them from the sun’s harmful rays, you need to use sunglasses that block 99-100% of ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) rays.

4. Go for a regular eye checkup

Going for regular eye examinations can help in protecting your vision and ensure you see clearly. Eye examinations are important to help you find eye problems like glaucoma (a condition wherein the optic nerve is damaged, resulting in vision loss). A comprehensive eye examination can help in identifying problems like nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism (an eye defect that occurs to a deviated spherical curvature).
