Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

I am 25 yr male. I have sitting job as profession. Sometimes I suffer from back pain. It mostly happens when I do any physical activity. I consulted with physiotherapist. She improved my sitting position and suggested some regular exercise. My sitting posture improved. But original problem remained same. I also gone through blood test for Vit B12 and Vit D. Both were less then required. So gaining required level of VitB12 and Vit. D will help or not?

Vit. B12 and vit. D3 will definitely help in your back pain. If the pain still persists or comes back please consult an orthopedic and get all investigation like x-rays and mri of the spine. Back pain at your age is not good and should be properly investigated.

First of all you need a bit rest and exercise to warm up DO avoid cold - stay warm in this winter - this is a precaution for arthritis patients. Do a x-ray of the affected joints. Blood test for uric acid needs to be done Take Rhus tox 200 - twice daily 4 pills for next 7 days Give me a feedback.

You can treat most ingrown toenails at home. Here's how: Soak your feet in warm water. Do this for 15 to 20 minutes three to four times a day. Soaking reduces swelling and relieves tenderness. Place cotton or dental floss under your toenail. After each soaking, put fresh bits of cotton or waxed dental floss under the ingrown edge. This will help the nail grow above the skin edge. Apply antibiotic cream. Put antibiotic ointment on the tender area and bandage the toe. Choose sensible footwear. Consider wearing open-toed shoes or sandals until your toe feels better. Take pain relievers. Over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol, others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) and naproxen sodium (Aleve) may help ease the toe pain.

I am suffering from neck & beck pain for some month.

This is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Use of cervical collar will give you relief. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

I was spine MDR tb patient from 2013 to may 2015 and I take complete 2 years treatment but currently some time I feel sudden sharp pain in back side when I do up and down movement my ESR test report is 25 mm/hr it normal or my tb bacteria are active and which test will tell me that I am active or not.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

I am 36 years old male having a swelling type near the thigh joint when I am standing or walking and when I am lying it disappears, what should I do?

You should also note some other symptoms such as swelling increases with coughing or not. Wheather you hav a long history of lifting heavy objects. One cannot rule out hernial swelling without any doctor conultation. So in my opinion you should consult a general surgeon.
