I'm 53 year old male, 5ft 5inch tall. On my right foot finger next to small finger has been swollen for 11 months (no injury), 3 months ago left foot small finger got swollen without injury, then whole toe swelled. Back of left foot also has been swollen for 14-16 months. It's the part behind foot, where heel connect to leg. Perhaps called tendinitis. Can not put on shoes anymore since last summer. I desperately need help.

Actually I would like to examine you to see whether there is any s/s of inflammation like skin redness, local warmth of skin, pain, swelling etc? also can you send me a clinical picture pointing towards the site of pain & inflammation? have you got any investigations like blood tests done to r/o out any inflammatory/infectious pathology especially if there is no h/o any injury. Thanks for the query. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - Have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Stay active. Right now you can still do some exercises that doesn't need to pressure your knees. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

Hi, u need clinical evaluation for ur back and neck pain , may not be related to thyroid . Do neck and back stegthening exercises , avoid long sitting , standing , driving jobs . Consult ortho near by

Gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. It will relax the muscles and the veins of your affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i. E. Lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help. Please update with your valuable feedback after 15 days.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

I have a right shoulder freezing problem which is bothering me. I have done MRI, Usg and X-ray and done physiotherapy but still pain is there. Please suggest remedy as the lingering pain does not allow me to sleep at night. I can stretch my right hand at an angle of 140 degrees at max.

Continue your physiotherapy until you get full range. When you get full range then then you must relive on your pain. With range of motion exercise do some strengthening too it must be help for you.
