Dark discoloration of the skin under the eye is mainly referred to as dark circles. It is also known as dark rings or shadows. Some of the main causes behind the formation of dark circles are heredity, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Both men and women of different age groups can have dark circles. Dark circles are not a serious skin problem, but they make people look tired, exhausted, unhealthy and older. You can easily get rid of unsightly shadows under your eyes using some easy home remedies Rose Water Rose water has incredible ingredient for skin care. It rejuvenates the skin and has a soothing effect on tired eyes. Due to its mild astringent properties, it also works as a good skin toner. 1. Soak cotton eye pads in pure rose water for a few minutes. 2. Put the soaked pads on your closed eyelids. 3. Leave them on for about 15 minutes. Follow this remedy twice daily for a few weeks Coconut Oil Massaging with coconut oil is another effective natural remedy to lighten dark circles. Due to its moisturizing quality, coconut oil also promotes smooth skin and prevents wrinkles and fine lines under eyes. 1. Simply massage some extra-virgin coconut oil on the under eye area. 2. Leave it on for a few hours, and then wash it off. 3. Repeat two to three times daily for a few months or until you are satisfied with the results. 4. Turmeric Turmeric has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help minimize dark circles. It will also make the skin around your eyes smoother and softer. 1. Mix two teaspoons each of turmeric powder with pineapple juice to make a thick paste. 2. Apply this paste to the affected area. 3. Leave it on for about 10 minutes before wiping it away with a soft, damp cloth. 4. Do this daily until you get positive results. Additional Tips ? Get adequate sleep and rest. ? Avoid rubbing your eyes too much or too often as it causes the blood vessels to dilate, thus making the under eye circles appear darker. ? Remove your make-up before going to sleep or else it may irritate your eyes. ? Limit sun exposure. ? Drink plenty of water throughout the day to get rid of water retention that could be causing the problem. ? To avoid eye bags caused by pooling of fluids in your lower eyelids, elevate your head by adding two or more pillows under your head before going to sleep. ? Pay attention to your diet and eat foods rich in vitamins A, C and E. ? Stop smoking and restrict alcohol and caffeine consumption; smoking damages skin cells, and alcohol and caffeine contribute to dehydration which in turn weakens the delicate skin around the eyes For treatment medicines consult privately any queries inform me.

Hello doctor Am 26 old. I missed my periods. Lmd is 31st July. So I did urine pregnancy test on my missed date and 2 days once. Till now I did 8 tests. All the tests are given negative result. And as per my friends advice I have taken papaya, pineapple etc etc. And menofit plus. And I went to a gynaecologist and they did scan and found a simple cyst (3.6×3.9×4.0 cm) on my right Overy and the doctor suggested me to take Medroxyprogesterone acetate tablet for 5 days and T aziwin fs kit. Due to unavailability of T aziwin fs kit kit as per the doctor's advice today I have taken nuforce 3 kit. Still no result. I called the Dr. and told still my periods not yet come. She told me to wait for 4 more days since yesterday only the Medroxyprogesterone acetate course completed. I need my periods and I don't want to be a pregnant. Very scary. Please help me. How can I get my periods?

I have vaginal infection kind of yeast. Due to this there is an itching problems hence during itching vagina lips swelled a lot. N got bulky. Don't know what to do.

I am 6 days late for my period and have not yet started. My period was due on 27 may, I started getting stomach cramps on 25 till 31st, this was the first time I got cramps ever. I even have slight pain in breasts for a little while but not constant. Got a blood test done for beta hcg and tsh. Beta hcg is less than 1.2 and tsh is 5.07 Are there any other tests that I should get done, or should I test pregnancy again after some days else do I need any medicine for periods to start.

Well wait for another 6 days then hv a check your urine fr pregnancy test. your tsh is slightly above soo that is one of the cause of irregular menses. Soo I think don't worry wait another 5-6 days then visit to a gynaecologist. Stress and anxiety is another cause that delayed menses as your hcg is 1.2 soo there is no chance of pregnancy though m advising to go n hv a check after 6 days.

Along with Insulin you have to strictly adhere to the following measures 1.Do regular exercise 2.Reduce weight if overweight 3Control diet 4.Avoid sweets, excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet, . 5.Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting Dietitian 6.Monitor your fasting, PP blood sugar and Hba1c three monthly 7.Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment

Sufficient sleep and worry free life is advisable, morning walk for 20 minutes. Consume fruits, juices like grape, anar, carrot, water melon, cane sugar, coconut water, mango, amrood etc. Avoid fast food, fried and bakery products. If interested for local and internal treatment for reducing hair fall and enhancing growth, inform.

Hello sir, I don't know how I feel like tired about last 15 days. Please help me.

Dear, if you tired very fast then you have to increase your stamina. Stamina will increase with time by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. After that increase your walking speed slowly day by day. You can do it on treadmill also. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great stamina by following these important things.
