Not always but it's better to loose weight. If you try for 6 months and don't conceived you should investigate.

Be Alive

Be Alive

Of living and being alive

When opposing and conflicting
Thoughts invade your head
Feelings overwhelm you
There is nothing left unsaid

The world seems indifferent
Uncaring and unkind
You feel lost and isolated
And hope is hard to find

When heart is filled with bitterness
Powerlessness and gloom
And you're certain of being headed
Towards the beginning of your doom

Clock seems to be ticking
Opportunities lost and gone
The night seems too endless
To wait for the dawn

When all the hits and trials
Seem wasted and futile
Don't give up just yet
Wait again for a while

No matter how hard it gets
No matter what all went wrong
You always always have it in you
To stand up and be strong

Muster the last ounce of courage
Innate deep within
Even when the silver lining
Is too bleak and too thin

Don't give up on your dreams
Don't give up on your life
Don't give in to the sadness
The darkness and the strife

Bit by bit, one step at a time
As long you move ahead
Hope can never be over
Despite the panic and dread

Being victimized and staying a victim
Are two different things you see
We are the source of creation
We can choose what we wish to be

Change what is not working
Start anew, again
Refusing to get bogged down
By'why' and'how' and'when'

There is nothing that's unchangeable
You just need to decide
And do everything it takes
To twirl around the tide

The path you took till now
May be crooked, harsh and tough
Who said there is no going back
Paths are many and enough

Choose a new one that is better
Choose another if required
Rest but never quit
When doubtful, sad or tired

Look inside and all around
Universe listens and provides
You only need to ask and wait,
With your arms stretched out wide

Take back your power
Break free from the past
Possibilities that exist
Are infinite and vast

Irregular periods must be controlled first- you need to know the cause of this problem (weight, hormones, diseases in pelvis etc) and then we have to treat the cause to regularize period. But during the treatment, the stop-gap time can be utilized for evaluation of fertility factors for you and your husband.

Menorrhagia - Is It Common During Puberty?

MBBS, MD - Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Noida
Menorrhagia - Is It Common During Puberty?

A girl’s first period or Menarche marks her transition from a ‘girl’ to a ‘woman’. Most girls have their first period between the ages of 11 to 13 depending on their genetic structure, body weight, nutrition and maturity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis. Periods are usually irregular in the first two years and gradually settle into a pattern. Along with the duration of the periods, there may also be fluctuation in the amount of blood being lost. Puberty menorrhagia can be described as excessive vaginal bleeding during menstruation. This can occur up to the age of 19 years.

One of the characteristic symptoms of menorrhagia during puberty is having to change tampons or sanitary napkins every 2-3 hours. Periods that last more than 7 days can also be a sign of this condition. While the average amount of blood lost during menstruation is 30ml, adolescents suffering from this condition can lose up to 80ml of blood. Other symptoms include acne, pale skin, the growth of excessive facial or body hair and palpitations of the abdomen. These indicate an imbalance of hormones within the body.

In most cases, this condition is caused by anovulatory cycles. This can be described as a menstrual cycle in which an egg is not released by the ovaries. Anovulatory cycles may be triggered by sudden changes in hormone levels, drastic weight loss or weight gain, stress, extreme levels of exercising and an imbalanced diet. The use of hormonal contraceptives and infections may also cause excessive menstrual bleeding. Less common causes of this condition include endocrine disorders, systemic illnesses and structural lesions such as cervical polyps or fibroids.

While menorrhagia is common during puberty, if it continues for over three months, you must consult a doctor. Depending on the factors triggering this condition it can be treated with hormonal or non-hormonal medication or even a combination of the two. Treatment for this condition must be tailored to each patient while keeping in mind her age, family medical history and co-existing medical conditions. Hormonal treatment for excessive menstrual bleeding can take the form of oral contraceptives or progesterone tablets. Non-hormonal forms of treating this condition include iron supplements and medication to reduce blood flow. You should also eat more food that is rich in iron and vitamins while reducing intake of proteins and spicy foods. Home remedies for this condition include drinking a tea made with coriander seeds or adding cinnamon to your usual cup of tea.

Me and my wife is 43,42 years old living a happy and healthy sex life, but incidentally due to failure contraceptive she conceived, but non growth of fetus in 8 weeks she has to undergo abortion, we have two females of 20,15 years. now problem is that she wants tubectomy immediately, but doctors tell us to do that after 6-8/weeks of abortion, yesterday we did intercourse using condom, but she is afraid some cum leaks in her vagina and she can get pregnant again, but I am sure no burst of condom, all cum in condom but how can I tell her, my life at presently in a very sad condition, what should I do to assure her that we do not need any baby in future and after a perfect time we will undergo tubectomy or vasectomy. Please guide.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Kolkata
Vasectomy does not reduce the male hormones or the sex urge thereafter. It takes less than 30 mins and you can walk home almost immediately since it's done under local anesthesia. In fact you can get it done tomorrow if you want (monday). Visit any surgeon. She need not go for any surgery the. Her fobias will dissipate. When she realises that there is not going to be any repetition of her ordeal, and your commitment to top it, she should feel better. A condom safely used provides 100% protection, assure her of the fact. Only risk after vasectomy is that you have to use condoms for a month at least till you semen test shows no sperms.
