Its due to muscular spasms of back muscles you should do streching of you r back muscles regularly. If pain persist take pain killers. And do hot water fomentation. At site of back pain. And one then pain reduced o the back muscle strengthning exc. S. Such as in prone lifting you r back from edge of table or bed. Suryanamskar. Push ups. Cat and camel exercise.

Get your blood tested for hemogram, sugar, uric acid, thyroid and vitamin D3, to rule out anemia, infection, diabetes, thyroid, gout and vitamin D deficiency. Review after investigations.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hi. L am having pain in my both shoulders and lower back. I do weight training. I have tried all home remedies but the situation is still the same. I also consult with a doctor and had a anti-inflammatory medicine and UST treatment for a month but I can't see any improvement. Now I m facing problem during walking and my workout session. I can't bent or unable to do my daily work. I m also having pain during coughing and sneezing in my lower back. The pain is unbearable. I am unable to understand its due to any sports injuries or any bone related disease. PLS ADVICE.

Thank you for writing to us. Please note that it is the muscular sprain you are having due to you workouts. I advise you should refrain for some days to the workouts and take rest till the time you find yourself comfortable. Secondly do not take weight more than you can manage. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately. You should do the above and get back to me in few days. Thanks.

My wife suffer back pain both hands fingers, both shoulders &cervical joints. First she had been suffering spondolisis since 9years &then pain are shifted both shoulders & both hands &fingers. In2006 may she does not work. Both hands are not greap &no sence in hands when cuts her finger by knife. At that time I go to spacialist neuro surgent & he give me advice for operation at cervical &brain region joints. The operation had done by the Dr. On dated21 june2006. Now she is better but she suffer back pain both hands fingers, both shoulders &cervical joints. Please give advice & medicine which will more helpful.

Calf stretches standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Correct you posture first. Avoid too much forward bending. While sitting your back must touch d back of chair or you can use backrest. You should do low back stretching and strengthening exercises.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Hi As you have cervical spondylitis. It may be referral pain. You do hot formentation with wet towels and do some neck exercise.
