I am 44 years old. I have total body pain and mainly under knees part of legs. Also I am taking 10mg Neomercasol for controlling hyperthyroidism. By lab report we have deficiency of B12 and Vitamin D, >500 trygiserides. What is your suggestion and what to do?

Hi, get your blood tested for cbc, hb%, s. Calcium, s. Ferritin and esr. Simple nutritional deficiency can cause general weakness of the body. Would advise you to take homoeopathic medicines - alfaalfa tonic and five phos. - both thrice daily, and let me know about your condition after a month.

Hello, Body pain may be due to 1. fever 2. abrupt start or stop of exercise 3. Any other medical disease like Anaemia/ Hypoproteinemia/ Thyroid problem 4. Vit D deficiency 5. Multimineral and vitamin Deficiency 6.Stress/ anxiety 7. Over exertion (physical and mental) kindly follow advises given below: 1. Take adequate rest 2. Proper diet 3. If body pain is acute you can take any pain killer like paracetamol after meal. For problem of flatulence and acidity you should have a look on your diet pattern. Avoid oily and spicy food, fast food and junk food. Take diet easy to digest. Take fibrous diet ,salads, green leafy vegetable and fruits to avoid constipation. Do not sleep in the day time and have a walk after dinner. Take nux vomica 30 one dose at night for one week.

Certainly you would not ejaculate or make full sexual act while watching porn movies, talking adult or making out with partner if somebody try to delay or not ejaculate hold on ejaculation for long time pain is felt later on. So it should not done so. Wish you good health.

You can take tablet paracetamol 650mg atleast thrice a day for couple of days.... Get your complete blood count done to rule out any infections or anemia.. Do your vitamin B12 & vitamin D.. Follow up with physician with reports If it is accompanied by high grade fever,, you need to be evaluated for dengue fever

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I recently did usg of my breasts and it shows 5-6mm encapsulated left axillary lymph nodes … I am having an unbearable pain in my both breasts n during ma self breast examination I felt a small cyst like appearance in my ryt breast. After consulting a doctor he said that my right cyst is a cyclic fibroid, sometimes it vanishes and my usg did not showed anything in my right breast… Sometimes I am having a nipple discharge also and sometimes not.

Hi lybrate-user, going by your doc's diagnosis, there is nothing to worry as such. Cyclic fibroids, in breasts, are benign, transient and exhibit symptoms exactly as you describe. I would advise you to try avoiding caffeine/ products, sweets, chocolates, dairy products, alcohol, smoking, high calorie/ fatty/ oily/ greasy foods including fast foods etc all as they aggravate the condition. However, do include more of fresh turmeric, garlic, ginger, whole grain cereals, leafy greens like broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, carrots, tomatoes, amla, pineapple, apple etc all to your diet on a day to day basis. Avoid flesh foods excepting fresh fish which is beneficial in this condition. Use olive oil for your salad dressings as well as cooking in general. You can also use either extra virgin olive oil or evening primrose oil, as suitable, for gently massaging both your breasts including the nipples to ease out pain. This can be followed by a warm compress alternating with a cold compress for 10 to 15 minutes which alleviates pain. Hope this helps. Take care and all the very best.

Achilles tendonitis or heel pain or plantar fasciitis is a very common condition. During night our feet are in a downward position which causes their stiffness. When we try to straighten them in the morning, they are stretched and hence the pain. You can start by doing feet stretching exercises in the morning before getting down from the bed and do ice packs.

Do some regular exercise like brisk walking, control your diet and reduce weight. Get your lipid profile , blood sugar tested, take ECG and consult doctor
