Cold, cough and throat problem can happen due to weather changes, exposure to cold air or rain, dust and pollen allergy and certain sour food. *.Mix some salt in warm water and do gargling early in the mornings. * Steam inhalation will relieve your congestion *.Keep a clove (lavang) in your mouth and slowly chew it. *.Drinking water frequently will eliminate toxins From the body and reduce congestion if any *.Avoid fried and oily foods. This can be treated by homoeopathy without adverse effects. To start with, take Belladonna 200 –once in the morning and once in the evening for 4 days.

I am Diabetic, diagnosed of non drug resistant PTB in 2014 and on AKT4 for 1month and thereafter on R-Cinex 600 and Combutol 1000 till today. For how to know I am free from PTB. Any tests to undergo.

MD PULMONARY, DTCD
Pulmonologist, Faridabad
Treatment of PTB is usauly by 4 drugs and dose is calculated on weight basis. As you are diabetic, your intensive phage should have been for 3 months and not for 1 month and also maintenance phage of ATT should be of 6 month,so total of 9 month treatment has to be taken. You should have periodic xray chest, sputum AFB and liver function test done.Your diabetic should be under control ,otherwise all treatment will be waste.

My 5 year daughter has asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer long time? I heard that using for the year might cause bone shrinkage. Is it true?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
High doses of inhaled steroids taken long-term, however, may decrease bone density, which increases the chance of bone fractures. People older than age 50 should have regular bone density scans and take calcium and vitamin D supplements. But a your daughter is just 5 so you can go for such medicines if you likes so.Myself being a homoeopath will suggest you to go for homoeopathic treatment.a homoeo meddicines dont have any side effects.
