I am mathan. I have a question for my mom. Her age is 46. Last few months she is affected by cholesterol. She is not even eat having like cholesterol food. Now she has taking medicines. Whenever she will get back pain and stomach pain she will having tablet. Is there any easy way for controlling cholesterol. What are the foods she needs to avoid it. Dear lybrate-user, cholesterol medicine is given to patients who have moderate to high risk of developing heart problem. Risk is calculated from age, sex, history of diabetes, high bp, smoking, family history etc. Otherwise unless cholesterol value is very high no cholesterol medicine is required. Only diet and exercise will be enough. As regards diet she can take almost all home cooked foods. Avoid oily and high carb foods.

There are 2 kinds of tulsi leaves we come across. One is" ram tulsi" (which is lighter in shade) and the other one is" shyam tulsi" (which is darker in shade) you have to consume 10-15 leaves of" shyam tulsi" which means the leaves with darker shade. Take 20 to 25 leaves of shyam tulsi and grind it into a paste. Boil this paste in 100 ml of water until the water comes down to the level of 50 ml. Then mix 1 table spoon honey or jaggery in it. Consume this water swallowing (never chew tulsi because it has mercury in it will damage your teeth) the leave remains daily in 3 installments without break. I guarantee you that you will feel better instantly and will get a permanent cure in some days. Besides natural remedies doesn't even have any side effects along with them. Besides keep yourself warm and away from cold/heat. Tulsi has the power to bring down all types of fever, weakness, fatigue. Dosage: twice or thrice a day (make in morning with 20-25 leaves and consume it in one day, do not keep in refrigerator, put in glass vessel)

Hi, when you are young, your face tends to get oily all the time, wash two to three times with an oil control face wash - medicated ones are better. Eat less amount of oily food and chocolates, we have a great acne regimen which controls pimples and other problems on the face

Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Take lots of proteins like soyabean. Egg white. Etc. Avoid tea. Coffee. Spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp. Do pranayama early morning.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anaemia. Take homoeopathic medicine weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and revert. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends.
