Hello- Irregular and sudden increase in stomach size in females along with discharge problems denotes swelling of underlying uterus. If swelling subside the stomach will come to its normal position. These symptoms arise due to excessive spicy and fast food intake, late night workouts and using pain killers during menses. Avoid these factors, massage abdomen with sesame oil in clockwise manner and start consuming turmeric milk in the breakfast, your problem will be solved.

What Gives You Stress Fractures?

The miniscule cracks in a bone are known as stress fractures. This type of fracture is caused by persistent application of force, mostly due to overuse. Activities like jumping or running up and down for long distances can also cause the condition. A normal bone weakened due to osteoporosis is another reason for stress fractures. Rigorous or excessive exercise can cause this condition as well.

These types of fractures are common in the lower leg and foot as these are the weight bearing bones. Field athletes and sportsperson are susceptible to stress fractures.

Some of the causes of this fracture are:

- Frequent application of a huge amount of force, greater than what the bones of a person's lower legs and feet can bear can cause this type of fracture. This force causes an imbalance between resorption and the growth of bone.

- If the bones are continually subjected to force without being given adequate time to recover, then the body tends to reabsorb bone cells faster than they can be replaced. These fatigued bones, when subjected to repetitive force, may cause tiny cracks which can turn into stress fractures.

Stress fractures usually occur in the metatarsal bones in the foot, heel bone, shin bone, thigh bone, and pubic rami of the pelvis among many other bones in the body.

Some of the symptoms of stress fractures may include:

- Pain
- Swelling in the affected area
- The area may grow tender and the crack usually increases while the foot is at rest

X-rays are the common methods of diagnosis. If left untreated, these fractures can lead to chronic pain.

Hi. Thankyou for the query. Firstly you must understand that you cannot just start running. You need to do some warm up exercises. If you have never worked out or run before you need to first start with basic walking and gradually move on to running. After that also you need to stretch and cool down. Most importantly your pre run and post run diet is very crucial. A heavy meal or being empty stomach for long before run will hamper your progress and affect health.

How Can I quit my 10 yrs. Habit of taking Alprazolam' in Daily-Basis, when I lost job, I'suffered' from'Depression' and'No sleep condition which made me a'Habitual''Alprazolam-take (10 mg/Day-in stat'Dosage'-,I mean 10tabs of 1 mg each'Tabs' taking as'stat' dosage.)-- then I started'self - belief' of'Taking Alprazolam' in'Reduced''Dosage' by'Tapering' the daily dosage. Though, I had IBS' problem and I knew that'Alprazolam' have the ability of curing IBS, it also led me to'take''Alprazolam' Anyway, Right Now I'm taking Alprazolam 0. 50mgx4tabs=2 mg' in combination with'Melatoin' 3 mg (Brand-stresnil 0.50 mg of' Aristo Pharma.) with full strength of Amitriptyline AND chlordiazepoxide two (2) tabs stat (Brand-Amixide) at night before go to bed. Now I feel stress and Anxiety-sleep sleep at Night (from 11: 30 P to 5: 30 A and have no IBS-problem and getting good amount of'energy' for the next day to'work' with my fullest'Potential' But, I myself tried very much of'quitting' these'Medications' but, once I tried the same for consecutive two to 4 days, I just have the same'No sleep at Night and full day disturbed with'Anxiety' and'Depression' and ultimately could not concentrate in my work-place, that's why I'm still not able to'QUIT' these'Medications' at'Night' only. Dear lybrate user, there are so many causes of pimples. There may be indigestion, constipation, oily skin, dandruf due to overuse of products available take care of your diet. Drink plenty of liquids salads fruits. No spice no oil no junk food. Apply lemon juice on your face for five days at night for one hour and wash your face with luke warm water. Do not rub or scratch the acne.

Hello, the dark patch must be the crust after the burn. Apply antibiotic cream like fucidin cream twice a day for 7 days. Apply dermadew aloe moisturising lotion after bath. The mark if any will form after the burn wound heals in 7-10 days and has to be assessed later.

I am 64 years old, and a diabetic patient. I am taking 30/70 insulin 2 time a day (10 units each). And I take metformin - 500 mg and climy pride - 2 mg. In the morning. In the noon time I take jalra - m 50 mg. Half tab. Only. And night time I take metformin - 500 mg. Only. Mostly sugar checking report is below 170-200 mg. Pm. Please advice.

If your post prandial blood sugar levels are 170 to 200. Its alright. Pls mention both your fasting and pp blood sugar levels and consult further.

Hi, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis is a manageable disease, generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients. Red meat, alcohol n stress should be avoided in psoriasis.

I am suffering from typhoid for last two weeks whenever I get fever I am not like food only I like juices can you suggest what should I do.

Few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for at least six months or a year. 2.Boil cumin seeds in water and inhale the steam. It helps dilate the bronchial passage. 3.Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a day 4.Pulses like old rice (rice which is stored for at least one year is called old), wheat, barley, kulattha, mung beans, arhar beans, etc . should be consumed. 5.Honey, warm drinks like herbal teas, spice teas are also okay. 6.Sprouts, nuts and seeds can be taken in moderate amount. 7.The heavy foods and those which make ama should be avoided. This mainly includes milk products like cheese, curd, butter milk, creams, and banana, etc. 8.Oily, greasy and fried foods which are difficult to digest should be avoided. 9.White flour and white sugar products should be avoided. 10.In addition, try to avoid the cold foods, cold drinks and other refrigerated things. 11.Avoid excessive or physically demanding exercise. Yoga and Pranayama can be helpful.

Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Dark discoloration of the skin under the eye is mainly referred to as dark circles. It is also known as dark rings or shadows. Some of the main causes behind the formation of dark circles are heredity, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Both men and women of different age groups can have dark circles rub your skin with citrus. Citrus fruits contain abundant amounts of vitamin c, also known as ascorbic acid. Vitamin c helps slough off the top layer of skin without causing damage. Here are some ways to use it. O squeeze some juice and dab it on your skin. Women have used straight lemon juice to lighten their skin for centuries, but you can use an orange, grapefruit or lime if you prefer. Slice the fruit in half and squeeze the juice into a cup or bowl. Using a cotton ball, dab it onto your dark spots. Leave it on for 20 minutes, then rinse off. Repeat once or twice a day. O make a lemon and honey face mask. Combine the juice of half a lemon with 2 teaspoons of honey. Mix well, and apply to your face. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse well. O make a citrus and powdered milk scrub. Combine 1 teaspoon each of water, powdered milk and the juice of your favorite citrus fruit. Mix into a soft paste and massage into your skin. Rinse well.
