Change food habits add in your food carbohydrates rich proteins vitamins minirales green vegitabales salad milk end milk products etc. Do arobic excersices yoga will help you. What exposes your teeth to abuse is not how much you eat, but how often you eat. Every time you eat, bacteria convert the carbohydrates in the food into acids that can dissolve your tooth enamel. By snacking throughout the day, you make your teeth susceptible to constant bacterial attack. Hence avoid eating high sugar, high acid foods between meals. Diet soda may have no sugar but the acid in it can be dangerous to your tooth enamel. If you have a sweet tooth, it’s best to have sweets at meal times!

Smoking is one habit that is seemingly difficult because there are so many conditions attached to it. Usually, people want to smoke after a meal. Now when you want to give up this habit, your conditioning to smoking after each meal will be the tough moment. The urge will be strong and the will usually is weak. You must do something to distract yourself from that conditioning and over a period of time, actually 21 days, you will be out of it. Your decision to want to quit is itself a very important fact that will help with smoking cessation. But you must quit, immediately and abruptly. The best way to quit is to know more about the ill-effects of tobacco. That is why there is so much discussion about the displays on the packs: it does have an effect. The knowledge is astounding and scary. That information itself should help you stay out of it. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. And one of its effects is to affect the erectile capacity of your penis. There are more than 4000 harmful chemicals in cigarette smoke! then you need to identify why you smoke: there is an oral need, the nicotine effect, the psychological effect of covering up some other issue, for style, to impress, etc. You may discover that the reasons may be unimportant at this stage because you have become too addicted and the habit has become compulsive. You should start exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need, for a little while. You may take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may join smokers anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i. E. At least for the first 21 days. Above all, announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here? s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world? you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages, and when temptations are at their highest. Believe in yourself, it always works.

1. Do regular exercise for 30 minutes daily like brisk walking 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting dietitian 5. Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugar 3 monthly and hba1c six monthly 6. Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment.

Hi, you should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 20 minutes daily. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food and oily food. Take small and frequent meals.

I'm a 20 year old female and I've a problem of irregular periods. Last year my doctor gave me oral pills and I even took that for 2 months but that messed up my weight, my skin and my mental health so I had to stop taking it as it was making me miserable. Dear lybrate-user You need to do as I say & you will start feeling better- 1) Practice Steam inhalation 1-2 times a day. 2) Wear socks & gloves as precautionary measures. 3) Avoid late night shifts & take adequate 8 hr sleep. 4)Luke Warm saline water (Halka garm namak-paani) gargles twice daily. 5) Herbal tea in evening (with Tulsi leaves) 7) Drink 3-4 litres of water/day. 6) For acute nasal congestion (Naak poora band ho jaana) you need some nasal drops/sprays & antiallergic medicines. I am a 32 years female has been suffering from thyroid and my today thyroid report isTOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3: 71 ng/dl TOTAL THYROXINE (T4): 5.3 μg/dl THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) C.L.I.A: 66.89 μIU/ml .When I saw TSH out of range I was shocked because at present I am consuming 75 mcg tablets. As per weight you require 131 ug. But tablet of that strength is not available, so you start 125 ug and repeat test after one month. If it doesn't come to normal then you increase the dose.

Cholesterol level should be measured at least once every five years in everyone over age 20. The screening test that is usually performed is a blood test called a lipid profile. Experts recommend that men ages 35 and older and women ages 45 and older be more frequently screened for lipid disorders. The lipoprotein profile includes: Total cholesetrol LDL (low-density lipoprotein CHOLESETROL also called "bad"CHOLESTETROL HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) TRIGLYCERIDES (fats carried in the BLOOD from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into TRIGLYCERIDES and stored in fat cells throughout the body. High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. GARLIC,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

Do certain changes in your life style. 1. No alcohol 2. Reduce weight 3. No smoking 4 diet-a. No spicy food/ no junk/ no fast food. B. More fibre food- green vegetables, fruits, whole grain flour c, no coffee/tea/ soft drinks d; water less, less water in the evening 5. Daily 30 mts morning walk 6. Deep breathing exercise 7. Do pelvic floor muscle exercise by tightening the muscle as if stopping urination mid stream. Do it about 10 times for 3 times a day you will be benefited give feed back after 15 days.
