Why in my both legs Pain in standing more than 5 to 10 minutes. I have RA and I have COPD also all these problems due to RA Is there is a cure. I am taking regularly SULFASALAZINE .FISH OIL CAPSULES AND supplemental CALCIUM TABLETS 650 MG Twice a day I also drink Green Tea I want a cure for my leg Pain Please help me.

You do yoga it is best in fitness & lose wait you wear shoes either shilper light wait & comfortable you teke hot water then deep your leg in hot water when you feel cold then outside your leg you can also some exercise some days OK either you can also take 10-15 days physiotherapy you feel batter then time after physiotherapy.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold): keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

1.Take crocin 500mg one tablet sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2.Apply volini gel twice daily 3.Give local hot fomentation 4. Take rest If you have recurrent attack of neck pain a)Take X ray cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b)Sometimes It could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest c) Consult for further advice

You have to reduce your weight your ideal weight is 77 kg. So you must reduce 25 kg. If you will reduce 12 kg you will see your pain go away. Morning brisk walk for 2km. Hot packs for pain. Reduce non vegetarian, fried, cream, dairy products. Stretching exercises for limbs.

it is 8 weeks since i met with in a car accident. My ribs are fractured and there is minimal displacement of the sternum.Pain has reduced totally. However during coughing/sneezing I feel pain and slight heaviness. How long will it take to completely recover and what are the exercises to be done to improve .

You can do assisted coughing that relieves pain during cough. You can consult physiotherapist and do breathing exercises. At home you can do pranayama or light yoga also that improves flexibility. It may take 6 month to 1 year depends on how you do exercises.

I am 40 years old suffering from leg pain in two legs felling like tired legs for last two month. What should I do?

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part.(knee & leg) rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello Lybrate user. Groin pain is usually common in athlete due to athletic activities n prolong stand n stretches. Do apply ice packs for 20 minutes a time repeat atleast thrice a day, ther kinesio taping for groin can help n heal muscle fibre. Take NSAID (ibuprofen), have rest. If it doesn't work visit physiotherapist near by. Thanks.

Hello docter, Mere pau par tractor ki tyre chal gyi thi 2 din pehle jisse bht jyada swelling aur pain ho rhi thi. Maine jb docter ko dikhaya toh wo x-ray kiye, aur x-ray report mai minor crack btaya lekin phir bhi mere left pau par plaster karwa diye aur aaj mere feet par choti choti pani wali fori ho rhi hai aur swelling bhi kam nhi huwa hai aur skin bhi kala ho gya hai. please advice me ki ye plaster kb tk khul sakta hai aur koi dikkat toh nhi hai na. please rply.

Aapka plaster kab khulna chahiye yeh tou lagane wale doctor se hi puchna chahiye...vaise generally minor cracks mai'n 3 weeks kafi hota hai.... aap ko bistar par let kar apne left leg ke neeche 2-3 takiye rakh kar aaram karna chahiye aur apne pair ki Ungaliyo'n ko nirantar chalate rehna chahiye ussi se swelling kam hogi.... Jah'n tak phunsiyo'n aur skin ke kalepan ki baat hai tou yeh ek Gambhir baat bhi ho sakti hai... Iss liye aap apne doctor se sampark kare'n tou behtar hoga...Take care.
