There are many reasons why your skin would turn dark. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please send photos with detailed history in private chat for proper treatment. Use a good sunscreen and start exercising. Take lots of fruits and green vegetables in your diet.

Believe me, if you are happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. To exfoliate your skin, mix two teaspoons each of lemon juice and sugar. Apply the mixture on your face, neck and hands. Scrub in a circular motion and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Follow this remedy once a week to enjoy glowing skin. Mix one tablespoon of turmeric powder with enough pineapple juice to make a paste. Apply the paste to your face and neck. Leave it on until the paste dries completely. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. Follow this remedy two or three times a week to reduce the appearance of spots on skin.

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: 1. To get fitness, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. Do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. I assure you that you definitely get fitness by applying these tips and lifestyle. Be healthy.

High sugars can cause erection problems. But remember most common cause is psychological like stress. Look into that aspect also. There are some medicines which can cause erection problems. First get sugar control. Get penile Doppler to rule out vascular cause of erection dysfunction. Do not get trapped into alternative system of medicines like "desi" drugs.

Hi I am 34 weeks pregnant and yesterday noticed that there is cavity in my teeth and deep inside. Had been to dentist and doctor took X-ray and advice me for root canal. Since there is no pain and upon extra care can I postpone it till my delivery or is it better to get it done? As am worried about the safety of anesthesia and antibiotics and also just one month to go for delivery.

First of all there's no need to take medicines after root canal. Mild discomfort will be there but you can bare that as you don't want to take medicines.. We can't say exactly when it will start paining but ya if you'll keep that cavities free of food after meal and gargles property after every meal and brush twice a day specially just before sleep at night then surely you can slow down the progression of cavity. Do not worry. Night falls are natural for men who do not have an opportunity for regular sex. They are healthy and don't cause any sexual weakness. Finishing in 2 minutes is altogether a different problem.

Hi doctors on everyday I am skipping my breakfast not intensely but Thing is am Bachelor and stay alone. I have to reach office on time and due to this am unable to cook my breakfast. Hello. It is highly advisable that you never miss out your breakfast no matter how much busy you are. The best time to have breakfast and the most healthy one as well is from sunrise till 2 and half hours of sunrise for example if sun is rising at 6 am in your city than the best time for breakfast will be from 6 till 8: 30 am. Never skip breakfast, you can buy lots of fruits and keep it for your morning meal, fruits are a rich source of fiber and minerals, it is always advisable to have your breakfast as the heaviest meal of the day and on the other hand dinner as your lightest. Have fruits instead of having nothing and being empty stomach till your lunch. Make sure you are waking up half an hour early for your office if you are health cautious and don't want an inner body weakness as well as weight loss problems/weight gain problems. You can even consume fresh fruit juice, buttermilk, dalia, oats, sandwiches (brown bread). They are extremely easy to make/cook, and saves a lot of time besides are healthy in their nature as well. Hello, my left eye started hurting last night. I thought it was a stye but I couldn't see anything though I did get that feeling. This morning I wake up, it's badly swollen and it hurts awfully. It seems from the history that you are having stye of the eyelid. Stye is because of infection of the glands of the eyelids. The treatment for stye is by use of antibiotics eye drops or eye ointments and anti-inflammatory drugs. The swelling of the eyelid is because of reactionary edema and will resolve with treatment for stye. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and for prescription of drugs. I took an ayurvedic medicine jhandu pancharista ,30 ml twice a day to control gastric and acidity problems, that medicine was containing some ayurvedic anti depressant and alcohol base by11%.now after leaving I became addicted towards it and now facing withdrawal symptoms. Dear lybrate-user, If your problems were due to Vitamin B12 and D deficiency, everything will be sorted out with 12 weeks of treatment. Wait without restarting ayurvedic medicines patiently for some more time. Whatever you are facing may be withdrawal symptoms or may be a part of the original disorder. Doctor would have given antidepressant because he would have diagnosed gastric problem is due to depression. Most of the ayurvedic medicines are alcohol based. What you are facing is NOT alcohol withdrawal.

Change your perception, there is no stress: it’s like looking at a glass half full or half empty. Life is difficult no doubt, as a general rule, but what we do adds to the stress in our response. We add to the stress of life instead of reducing it or learning to deal with it. Many of us follow a policy of avoidance, like your question seeks. We cannot do that all of our lives. So the first thing to do is to change your perception. For example, look at it as a challenge that you would like to meet with a positive outlook. See everything as a gift from God to perform as though you are doing it for Him. God never gives us work to do beyond our capacity. Now you may argue that it is the Government that is giving all the work. That is true in the overt sense, but if you look at it with spiritual eyes, you know that it is ultimately given by God. Secondly, build a good constitution mentally, emotionally and physically to combat stress. Eat healthily, sleep well, and exercise regularly. Talk about your emotions regularly to a good friend every day. Learn stress management techniques, which is all about expressing your feelings in appropriate ways. Do Yoga and meditation. Pray every day to God to give you the strength, and offer your work as a prayer to Him – you will give your best and you will feel so satisfied when you do it well. The diet includes eating foods with potential antihypertensive activity like fresh fruits and vegetables (amla juice, beetroot garlic and radish), whole grains, milk, etc and lowering the intake of salt and processed foods. : Probiotics, Bananas, Citrus fruits, Papaya, Berries, Avocado, Potatoes, Leafy veggies, Beetroot, Peas and beans, & Radish are all good foods for you.

Dear lybrate user. A) take take 10-10 ml of ginger juice and fresh lemon juice along with 10 gm of jaggery before and after meals. B) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals. C) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. D) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast and fermented foods. E) avoid late night sleeping habits.
