Dear Lybrate user Our body gets addicted to smoking or any addiction. And a sudden withdrawal of it is not acceptable to the body and the mind and it resists. As addiction gives immediate happiness gratification. Different people get different withdrawal symptoms. If you again start smoking you will see that these problem are gone (slowly). Getting rid of any addiction is not easy as you body is craving for it. If you are not able to do it properly the you should seek some psychological help. By psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy it becomes easy to get rid of any addiction. You can contact me for more information if you want.

This doesn't mean that child should be made to invite infections but too strict adherence to antiseptic protocol must be reconsidered. One should remember the sanskrit saying. .....

My 5 year daughter has asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer long time? I heard that using for the year might cause bone shrinkage. Is it true?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
High doses of inhaled steroids taken long-term, however, may decrease bone density, which increases the chance of bone fractures. People older than age 50 should have regular bone density scans and take calcium and vitamin D supplements. But a your daughter is just 5 so you can go for such medicines if you likes so.Myself being a homoeopath will suggest you to go for homoeopathic treatment.a homoeo meddicines dont have any side effects.
