You go off your diet by eating a fattening, forbidden food.

Shortest Cycle: 23 days Longest Cycle: 35 days Average Cycle Length: 28 days. I am. 36 years old from Bangalore. Every month my period cycle varies with dates. I want to know whether its good or bad. I am trying to conceive and I had endometriosis problem. Whether I am ovulating?

MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
Hi, Lengths ranging between eight and 20 days are considered moderately irregular. Variation of 21 days or more is considered very irregular. Alternatively, a single menstruation period may be defined as irregular if it is shorter than 21 days or longer than 36 days. It mostly due to stress, improper diet so I would like to advice you start proper balanced diet in regular interval, start yoga and meditation early morning. It will help you to resolve your problem.

I'm suffering from the irregular periods from past 6 month it's 1or 2 months late sometimes. Dr. sujested me to deviry tablet I think my weight is reason for this.

BHMS, MD - Alternate Medicine
Homeopath, Nagpur
In majority of the cases irregular menses are accredited to hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it may be pathological and secondary to some pathology of ovaries mostly. Now if you want to regularized the menses then you must establish permanent balanced first and this can be achieved only with homoeopathy, because in modern medicine we get only a hormonal support with a very temporary relief. But with homoeopathy you can strike the hormonal balance permanently which later on also give you regular menses even if you stop the medicine.

My elder brother is 26 years old and his wife age is 30 years old, their marriage 5 years ago but they have no children, all reports of both are normal what is the next way they should do?

MBBS, DGO, MD, Fellowship in Gynae Oncology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Although all the reports are normal but 5 years of married life is long enough waiting for baby naturally. I would suggest them to go for iui or ivf now, as with the growing age complications may develop.

Am 20 years old Now am 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant I have little bit white discharge Is this normal in pregnancy.

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
Vaginal discharge during pregnancy can be normal. It should be thin, white, milky, and mild smelling. If the discharge is green or yellowish, has a strong smell, or is accompanied by redness or itching, you should contact your doctor. This is likely a sign of a vaginal infection.

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fellowship in Infertility (IVF Specialist)
Gynaecologist, Aurangabad
Hi lybrate user, excessive means how many tablets, it's an emergency please visit hospital immediately as early you treat less damage to liver. In early stages there won't be any symptoms. If it is overdose then you may have nausea, vomiting, weakness. If you are too late then you may have pain in abdomen rt side, giddiness, blackouts.

My wife had a problem, white water discharge from vagina when going toilet. We are planning for a baby. Can this affect pregnancy. Help.

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
Vaginal discharge is most often a normal and regular occurrence. However, there are certain types of discharge that can indicate an infection. Abnormal discharge may be yellow or green, chunky in consistency, or have a foul odor. Abnormal discharge is usually caused by yeast or bacterial infection. Many women experience this type of discharge during ovulation. If the discharge is stretchy and thick, it's likely just a sign that you're ovulating. In some cases, however, creamy discharge can be an early sign of pregnancy. For some women, this is the first sign they notice, and it's referred to as leucorrhea. It's normal to have a white/yellow vaginal discharge that does NOT have an odor (smell). Vaginal odor, itching, burning, pain and/or a different discharge are symptoms of an infection. If you have any symptoms of a vaginal infection, call your health care provider. Most of the time, vaginal discharge is perfectly normal. The amount can vary, as can odor and hue (its color can range from clear to a milky white-ish), depending on the time in your menstrual cycle. For example, there will be more discharge if you are ovulating, breastfeeding, or are sexually aroused.

I was diagnosed with ovarian endometrial cyst in my left ovary of size 4*3*3 cm of 18 ml Is it mandatory to go for laparoscopy or it is curable with medicines as well Will I face problem in conceiving in future? Any tips?

BHMS
Homeopath, Chennai
Laparoscopy is just a diagnostic procedure unless yu opt for surgical removal of the cyst which is only a temporary solution. Endometrial cysts are similar to follicular cysts, only difference is they are filled with blood like fluid due to presence of endometrium like cells in the cyst. Which also means that just as hormones are the reason for PCOS, it is for endometrial cysts. You can read my previous posts on PCOS for better understanding. So while you can do laparoscopy as diagnostic, it wud be wise to opt for something that will address your basic hormonal imbalance. Homeopathy addresses the cause of hormonal imbalance as well the cyst and the menses and the conception. Please find a reputed Homeopathic Physician in Mumbai and have a personal consultation.

Hi i am 23 I have Pcos and last in 2014 December I conceived via hmg amd hcg shots but later during 7th month lost my pregnancy due to IUGR. Also I am having thyroid (normal now) Again I am trying to conceive. My doctor gave me clomifene citrate from day 3 to 7. Hmg injections on day 3 and 5. On day 11 I was having a 16mm follicle in right ovary and 19mm ovulated follicle in left. (Ovulation occurred from left ovary without hcg) I want to know if 16mm follicle will rupture at the same time or within 24hrs of each other? My doctor said there are chances of 16mm follicle to rupture till next day. Is it possible?

MBBS, DGO, MD, Fellowship in Gynae Oncology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Exactly it cannot be said that when it will rupture, it is possible that it may rupture the next day or on the same day. But in both the cases there are chances of pregnancy so you need not to worry for that. If you are going for iui then do it twice for consecutive days, or going for natural then then regular intercourse for 3-4 days.

General Surgeon, Delhi
Dear lybrate-user. If the fissure is recurrent than you should undergo sugery. It's a small surgery which can be done as day care surgery. 1 to 2 days of rest is enough and total recovery time is 5 to 7 days.

Hi doctor, I had been married for 3 years now and want to get pregnant. But one information I would like to tell that I have severe menstrual pain during my period days for first 3 days. Sometimes I have to take painkillers injections. My sonography results shows that all my reproductive organs are alright. I conceived for the last two months but result is negative. Please advice how to get pregnant ?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
No need to worry just relax. It takes some time to conceive after 3 yrs of happy married life. So enjoy ,everything will be fine with time. You must have a fairer knowledge of safe and unsafe period of your cycle.
