Height is usually always dominated by Genetics. How short are your parents? If you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you wont grow very much more...There are no amazing magic ways to get taller...Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get TONS of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching..Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height...take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water..

It happens to me in every season change and during the winters that I always caught by the cold. Then it increased by running nose itching in eyes. When I take any medicine it got normal in a day. But it did not stay for long and after 2 to 3 days same thing happens again and I need to take the medicine again. Dear Lybrateuser, - Do get check up for allergic rhinitis, sinusitis or any nasal problem to rule out any other problem - to improve your immunity have a well balanced diet include more of fruits & vegetables, mainly citrus foods, green leafy vegetables, have eggs, milk & milk products, teaspoon of honey, whole grains, seafoods, chicken, a handful of mixed nuts, flax seeds have 7-8 glasses of water for sufficient hydration & proper digestion -do regular exercise, walking, jogging for 20-30 min, also do yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min in the morning - sleep well for 7-8 HTS at night which is a good immunity booster - wash hands before & after meals, take daily bath, take a multivitamin, 1 tab daily for a month or so give a break for a month or two then again start - be positive & happy which gives a boost to the immunity.

Dear Mr. Lybrate-user. A detailed consultation and some blood test are needed to diagnose the proper underlying cause behind asthma in order to cure it. Conduct a test of your blood for tc, dc, esr & ige. Revert back with the results. However if you find that your eosinophill count is higher than normal in your blood report then take homoeopathic pyrogen 1m, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach along with homoeopathic mother tincture cassia soph q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, with a cup of water.

Hello friend.. See whether the erection is proper and hard or not. Also look for morning hardness. If one of the above or both are absent then you are suffering from Erectile dysfunction.   • Exercise outdoors during the coolest parts of the day.
  • Try to keep your skin cool by cool showers.
  • Keep skin as dry as possible, remove all traces of perspiration, especially from the folds of the skin
  • Avoid  heavy creams or ointments that might block sweat ducts
  • Avoid harsh soaps during the hot season.
  • Wear loose clothing while sleeping and ensure your bedroom is well-ventilated.

For a normal weight reducing diet, the quality of food is reduced as per the reduced calorie restrictions. Emphasis is given or more roughage and liquids. The following items are deleted:- a) butter, ghee and coconuts chutney. B) fried food items. C) egg yolk. D) high calorie fruits like banana. This diet provides about 1000-1200 calories and 40-45gm of protein.

How Constipation Can Be Treated Naturally?

Constipation is a very common, but irritating problem that mostly occurs due to the absence of adequate amount of fibre or water in your diet. Also, a side effect of certain medications or less exercise can lead to constipation. Whatever may be the cause behind it, you can easily relieve yourself from this stomach ailment without consuming any drugs. Here are some natural laxatives, which are easily available in your kitchen and prove to be very effective in eliminating constipation.

1. Lemon

Lemon contains citric acid, which has the ability to stimulate the function of digestion in your body. The action of lemon on your digestive system enables it to get rid of the toxins and undigested material that generally accumulates on the colon's (the last part of your small intestine) walls, giving rise to constipation as a result.

Directions: collect the juice of 1 lemon in a cup by squeezing it. Fill the rest of the cup with warm water. Drink it every morning.

2. Castor oil

Castor oil is often referred to as a stimulant laxative and is a very useful remedy for constipation. Castor oil enables smooth movement and functioning of the intestines, making it easier for stool to pass.

Directions: drink 1 to 2 teaspoons of castor oil on an empty stomach. It takes about 8 hours to show its effect, so decide which time of the day will be suitable for you to consume it.

3. Aloe vera

Besides acting as a remedy for minor burns and cuts, aloe vera gel also helps soothe your stomach. It functions as a natural laxative by making your stool softer. Moreover, it aids in protein digestion and makes the muscular structure of your intestines stronger, consequently providing relief from constipation.

Directions: have 2 tablespoons of aloe gel every morning by mixing it with your glass of fruit juice, or consume 1 cup of aloe vera juice whenever you feel constipated.

4. Baking soda

Baking soda is an effective cure for gas, pressure and pain in the digestive tract, and stomach ache as excessive air is released from the body by its action. It also functions as a laxative by making the passage of accumulated waste products through the intestines a smooth process. Moreover, stools are loosened and passed without pain on its consumption.

Directions: take a quarter cup of warm water and stir a teaspoon of baking soda into it. Consume the mixture as quickly as you can. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

Hello, You can improve your dry skin by good along with a healthy intake of food which should includes vitamin A, C, E and protein, lots of water, application of good sunscreen before going out. Choose mild soaps that have added oils and fats. Avoid deodorant and antibacterial soaps, which are especially harsh on dry skin. After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on the skin (never ever rub the area). Apply the moisturizer or lubricating cream while your skin is still wet or moist from bathing. Petroleum jelly is a good choice. Cover the treated areas with plastic wrap to keep the petroleum jelly from staining clothes and furniture. Use a portable home humidifier or one attached to your furnace to add moisture to the air inside your home. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Alfaalfa Tonic and Petroleum 200/ twice daily, take them for 1 month. Use Schwabe's Skin care bathing bar, Calendula & Aloe Vera all purpose cream, Bakson's Body oil to be applied. Revert. Also get your blood test for CBC, ESR, AEC and TFT done

My son 4 year 6 months old does not eat properly. We tried all sorts like giving different type of food each day. We have stopped chocolates and other junk foods still no improvement consulted one doctor he gave buclizine syrup 5 ml 2 times is it safe or any medicine better than this or any ayurvedic medicine?

I am suffering from hypothyroidism from last 2 years and taking 25 mg thyronorm tablet, and also I had pcod from last 8 years now I am 27 years old, and recently done with thyroid test and there is minor variation by 0.8mg, but again my doctor suggested me to increase dosage of thyronorm by 75 mg. Is it necessary to increase it as I am having minor variation. And cant it be cured completely. Please suggest is there any treatment for this.(and also previously I was taking glcoment 500mg for pcod and I used to get periods regularly, 2 years back I changed the doctor and they told me to leave glucoment and continue with thyronorm, initially when I undergone test for thyroid at that time also I have just minor variation, I don't remember lab values exactly.

I am 60, recently retired from an active 9 to 9 job. I have psoriatic arthritis, htn, dm-2. I am a smoker. However, I am very serious to change my life style, quit smoking, leads a busy life. I am very active even this day, can run, climb trees, swim, dance. Apart from jogging, can I do workouts like dumbells, bench-press, weight-lifting etc which I am very much interested? then what may be the measure of weights? is it necessary to consult a trainer? I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.
