The end of a relationship often feels like the end of the world. After all the time and energy you have invested in it, it is very painful when it gets over. Keep in mind that life is full of ups and downs; nothing is permanent. The pain you feel today will go away with time. Give yourself time to heal. Give time, time. In the meanwhile don't isolate yourself from your friends and family. Confide in someone you are comfortable with. Make a list of life goals, and plan how to achieve them. Relationships are an important part of your life, but they are not everything. Spend time with those close to you, indulge in some enjoyable activities. Keep yourself busy. Slowly you will see that there is a lot to life. However if you are feeling suicidal, consult a psychiatrist immediately. Don't wait to feel worse.

What have to do to increase the memory power of a man who had suffered a accident.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
If his memory has been affected by the accident there is very little you can do because there may have been some organic damage. However, if he does extensive physiotherapy along with neurological exercises he could probably recover some of it.

You have to take your father for rehabilitation. You have to keep patience and give strength and support to your father. In rehabilitation centres they will care for all about medication, health and basic body needs like food, nutrition etc. Be positive and prepare him for there.

From the brief information you have provided, it would appear that you have suffered from mixed anxiety and depressive features and its consequences (including loss of sex drive and confidence, etc.) for many years. Hopefully, the doctors you have seen, have ruled out physical causes like neurological & thyroid problems amongst others. Mental health and emotional problems warrant an integrated approach using a combination of medicine and psychotherapy. Only prescribing of medicine cannot help one to understand and overcome pain and the causes for it. It is important to engage in psychotherapy sessions to get an insight into the current problems and underlying causes, as well as a solution to remedy it. Remember, knowledge and awareness can empower you. I suggest you see a psychiatrist with interest and experience in psychotherapy or see a psychologist alongside psychiatrist. While you problems are very common, they are easily treatable provide a planned and compressive approach is adopted.

1. Consult a psychiatrist clinically. 2. Do yoga daily 30 min n shavasana daily 5 min before sleep. Do deep breathing for 2-3 min after every 1 hr. Eat light non spicy n healthy food at short intervals in small amount. 3. Have 1 teaspoonful of licorice root powder with water empty stomach in the morning. This is mentioned as a medhya rasayana in Ayurveda i. E. A mind rejuvenator. 4. Add some fresh rose petals in a cup of boiling water. Keep it aside till it is lukewarm. Hello, take homoeopathic medication - schwabe's bacopa monierri 1x/ thrice daily and kali phos. 6x/ once at night - take them for 4 weeks. Management: there are few yoga poses which helps in calming your mind and relieves stress. Exercises: practice shavasana or corpse pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Anuloma involves inhaling through both nostrils together and exhaling each breath alternately between the left and right nostrils. The thumb of the right hand is used to manipulate the right nostril, while the pinky and ring finger are used to control the left nostril. There are many other poses of yoga like balasan, setu bandha sarvangasan, uttanasan, garudasan, savasana, triconasana, viprita karani, marjaryasana, dhyana, bhujangasana, anulom-vilum, pranayam, etc. But first learn these under a qualified yoga-teacher as many poses are prohibited in certain diseases or medical conditions! another stress-buster can be getting involved in any of your hobbies (may be a childhood hobby which you used to enjoy a lot!) - dancing, singing, painting, listening to soothing music, playing musical instruments, etc.

Alcoholism is alcohol addiction. If you?re ready to stop drinking and willing to get the support you need, you can recover from alcoholism and alcohol abuse?no matter how bad the addiction or how powerless you feel. The first step in treating alcoholism is accepting that you have a problem. Confronting an addiction and accepting responsibility for your actions isn?t easy. But it?s a necessary step on the road to treatment and recovery. You should then consult a psychiatrist / psychologist who fill follow this treatment. 1. Detoxification using medicines. 2. Behavior modification with the help of therapies. 3. Counseling. 4. Medication to sustain and 5. Long term support. These given steps are essential for any addict to get effectively rid of alcoholism. Therefore, you need to stick to the treatment plan and cooperate with your psychiatrist / psychologist. Take care.

Hello, Practicing yoga helps you in releasing the stress from your body. Brisk walk in a park will help you inhale more fresh air and oxygen for good functioning of the cells and tissues of the body. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos. 6x/ once at night. Yogasana: Practice the following poses if you don’t have any medical condition or pregnancy or else take an advice from your concern doctor and then only perform these. 1.Balasana: Sit on your heels with your big toes touching and hands resting on your thighs. Lower your belly and chest to rest between your knees, bringing your forehead to the floor. Relax your arms back beside your shins, palms facing up. Soften your breath by taking 5 to 10 long, deep inhalations and exhalations. 2.Savasana: lie back, letting your body sink into and open around the support. End in a supported pose on your back with a folded blanket under the length of the spine to help arch the upper and middle back, and lengthen the lower back. Move your arms a comfortable distance away from your body and anything else around you. Turn your palms to face up. Separate your legs a natural distance apart. Relax your feet and let them roll open. Finally, do a mental scan from head to toe: Where are you holding tension. Release it from every part of your body—including your heart and head.

There are active people and there are proactive people. Who is more liable to blood pressure? Is blood pressure related to how we feel? Is blood pressure related to suppression of your desires and hence to anger within and hence your mental health? We keep giving medicines to the physiological system and never look into the cause of problem. Doctor, please advise as to synchronize psychological and physiological processes within our body system? B.

Hi blood pressure is caused by obstruction of arteries by deposition of fat in the side walls. Because of this heart has to exert more pressure to circulate the blood. Take your medicines prescribed by your doctor for bp. Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops to keep your mind calm. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 3 drops of agrimony + 3 drops of water violet + 3 drops of mimulus. Mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every morning and night.(same dose).
