Fried foods or food items that are high in cholesterol and saturated fats should be avoided as these foods can cause an increase in DHT levels (a by-product that causes hair loss).

Hi lybrate-user Reason for hair fall can be nutritional genetic or hormonal. Check upon a few things. 1. Do you or anyone in your family have any thyroid disorder. 2. Did you suffer from any disease like malaria, typhoid or dengue in the last 6 months. 3. Did you do dieting in the last 6 months. 4. Is anyone else in your family having hairfall. please get back to me with answers to above questions for proper evaluation

I am 30 Year old women having spine (disc) issue. According to my MRI report “Posterior and left paracentral disc extrusion at L5-S1 level superior migration causing compression on left existing nerve”. Due to this the toes of my left foot has lost power restricting dorsiflexion. There is no back pain and I am able to move and walk freely without any issue. The numbness and sensation have shown recovery after 15 days of physiotherapy. My doctor has advised for surgery but I am reluctant to go for it. My two questions are 1) Whether it is possible to get recovery without surgery? If yes what precautions should be taken? 2) I fear further damage due to this nerve compression. Whether there are chances of further damage due to this if I don’t go for surgery?

Hello madam, The symptoms described by you and the MRI report corelate. It means that you have significant disc problem. It is considered as a strong indicator of surgery if you have weakness of muscle. Generally for disc related problems conservative treatment by medication and physiotherapy will work, but when muscle weakness is present, then there is high risk of progression and chances of recovery of muscle power cannot be predicted. If you recover from this problem without surgery it will be great, but have to be lucky. But if it gets worse then you may have to be only sorry. Unfortunately no test or no Surgeon can predict if someone in your position will recover or not. Ifeel the doctor who has seen you in person has more information about you than me, so my advice would be to get your self treated as per his decision. Sir mere ladke ka ummar 7 years he. Use asthama ki sikayat he. Govrt hospital me elaaz chal rha he usko in healer diya jaata he subha saam. Dr. Ne pahle bataya tha ki 6 month ya 12 month tak treatment chalega. Magar aaj 2 saal se treatment chal rha he. Dr. se puchhte he to sirf yehi zawab aata he ki abhi traetment chalega. Sir aap kripa kar ke mujhe ishke baare me bataye.

The treatment period is indefinite, no one can predict the duration, please get a SAT i.e. serum allergen test done, so that you can isolate the causeing allergen.

Hello you need not worry. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Drink plenty of water. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Start your day with peanut butter sandwich. After 2 hours take 500 ml milk. After 2 hours take 2-3 chapati with ghee applied along with paneer curry. Evening banana shake. Take apple before workout. After workout take 1 scoop of whey protein powder. Dinner take 2-3 chapati with ghee applied along with paneer or soya curry. Thank you.

Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Like when I put scratch on skin anywhere the scratch only swallow and cause itching and it is gone for large period of time and when I put blanket on it ,it goes away and it is from last three years.

take panchnimbadi churna with water twice a day....take pranacharya charm vikarasav 2-2 tsf with water twice a day....apply marichyadi oil on affected part

Dear lybrateuser, -lifestyle changes mainly modifying your diet & losing weight can reduce your triglyceride levels -cut the amount of sugar, have more of fibrous foods along with veg & fruits include beans, legumes, pulses, nuts, flax seeds, have a low fat diet, have heart healthy oils, olive, canola (total about one teaspoon per day), fish -do brisk walking for 30-40 min daily, also yoga, meditation 5-10 min.

First medical check ups.Along with this eat small amount of food.But do not skip meals.Give her lots of whole fruits,vegetables.Use unrefined foods small amount.Give her fish,egg white,lean meat and other sources.Don't give her fast foods,junk foods,processed foods,soft drinks,cola beverages.Drink lots of water specially before meals but not during meals.Encourage her to play. She can do swimming,skipping,cycling.These will be helpful if there is no health problems.

Do not drink water before and during meals.Avoid fast foods.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Don't skip meals.Eat extra amount of food.Add cream,butter,ghee with food.Use dense fruits,vegetables,unrefined foods.Eat fish,egg,meat,mushroom,tofu,peas,peanut butter,yogurt,cottage cheese.Add extra fat in cooking.Drink water 3 lit/day.And sleep for 7-8 hours.

use Hair conditioners Some time due to protein deficiency hair become Hard,rough,dry Take lots of green leafy vegetables and sweet juicy fruits. Dairy products such as milk and fresh yogurt will also help. Fresh coconut is also considered excellent "hair food" -- sprinkle grated coconut over salads, diced fresh fruit, or rice. 1. Green Leafy Vegetables: Regular intake of Green leafy Vegetables - Spinach, Lettuce, Leafy Greens, Turnip Greens, Broccoli, Beans and Green Peppers are rich in nutrients that help and promote Hair growth. 2. Other Vegetables and Fruits: Two fresh fruits per day :- cut and eat with fruit skin, no juice. 3. Sprouts: Green gram dhal Sprout. There are so many sprouts like Mung Beans, Green gram dhal, Peas It is also very easy to prepare! Soak Green gram dhal in an air tight Box . Then in the afternoon strain the water and close the box, put the box in a dark place. In the Morning the sprouts will be ready for you to Eat. It will be very effective when taken with the morning meal. 4 Almonds/4 Walnuts on alternate day?s and 2Dates/2Figs on also alternate day?s and 2 prunes daily. 5. Good news for Fish lovers! Fish contains nutrients that will make hair shiny and strong while promoting hair growth. It contains Omega 3 fatty acids which help nourish hair very well. Those who don?t want to eat fish or are vegetarians can take Sea cod Tablets. It is extremely beneficial. 6. One glass of Milk per day if possible cow?s milk. 7. One spoon ghee per day. 8. Soya Bean: Proteins rich for hair growth is a must! If your a vegetarian and are on a hunt for that perfect source of proteins, then your search ends here. This is the best food for hair growth. Soya beans has 40% proteins and a great deal of good fats which are also much needed for hair growth. 9. 10 ? 12 glass of water per day 10. Cooking with certain spices adds flavor to your food and provides nourishment for your hair. Cumin, turmeric and black pepper are some "hair-friendly" spices. Add a healthy pinch of each to single-portion soups and stews as they are cooking. Saut� 1/8 -1/4 teaspoon each of the three spices in a teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter) or olive OIL and add to cooked veggies. Roasted ground cumin and ground black pepper can be sprinkled over fresh yogurt.

Probably you are suffering from repetitive stress injury. In addition you may have low serum vitamin b12 & d 3 levels. Please get them tested. Will need to start muscle relaxants and anti inflammatory medications.
