Hello, The failure rate of condoms is 3 per cent, however she may get a serum beta hcg test done to rule out pregnancy anyhow.

Please take berberis aq - q / put 10 to 15 drops on cotton and apply on the affected area twice a day for two weeks. Revert back after two weeks with feedback.

Hi, do regular exercise. You should go for brisk walk in the morning. Include fruits like oranges, grapes, are good energy and natural source. Drink 3-4 liters of water. Sleep well atleast 6-8 hours. Eat salad before meals. Include protein rich food in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.

How do I control diabetes and high blood pressure?  I am a heart patient with severe cholesterol. please help me?
Hi, diabetics often have high bp too unless there is any other underlying cause. First and foremost, your high bp needs to be brought under control. Make sure that you meet your diabetologist/ cardiologist in person asap, so that your high bp/ sugar/ cholesterol levels are brought down with no further delay. He/ she may appropriately advise further diagnostics, if any, and may also require referring you to other specialists including a nephrologist consultation to check upon your kidneys health. Simultaneously, you will have to check your dietary habits, especially cut down on salt, and other high calorie greasy/ oily & fatty foods. Watermelon helps lower bp. Ensure that you streamline your lifestyle, with adequate room for relaxation and de-stressing. Should you be working, you need to see how you can streamline your occupational aspect as well to reduce stress at work. This shall systemically help you keep your bp in control. Being a diabetic, the need to streamline your diet & lifestyle and relaxation/ de-stressing yourself, cannot be under-emphasized. You must ensure consumption of whole grain cereals, fresh milk, fibrous fruits like apples and leafy greens. Especially, cucumber, jamun, bitter gourd, onions, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, lemon etc are beneficial in diabetes. Banana and other high calorie fruits be best avoided. You should take water plentily and exercise (light) for at least 30 - 45 mins daily. Remember walking is the best and safest exercise unless you have other constraints with respect to your health that prohibit you from doing so. Most of the guidelines as mentioned above for diabetes and bp shall help control your cholesterol levels too. Coriander water is known to help bring down cholesterol levels. Additionally, vegetable oils with pufa, amla, cayenne, green tea, fenugreek (methi), isabgol, flaxseed et al help bring down cholesterol levels too. Daily yogasanas, pranayams & meditation also help keep fit from all angles.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it. *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hair growth and repair.

If you are active, have good appetite n digestion and good sleep, there should be no need to gain weight. Still if you need to gain weight, eat good food with positive caloric intake. Some brunghnadi group of herbs also help in gaining weight in a healthy way.

First you need a medical check ups if you are suffering from any disease or not.Along with this do regular exercise like yoga,push ups,weight lifting and other muscle building exercise to gain weight.Increase eating.Use bigger plate.Add ghee,butter,cheese,cream with food.Add extra amount of oil in cooking.eat cake,pastries,chocolate,ice cream more.Eat more dense fruits,vegetables,refined foods with unrefined.Take more protein to gain weight.Avoid fast foods as far as possible.No smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water but not just before or during meals.Take nuts,seeds extra as snacks.Use weight gainer supplement.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month.
