Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs , mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Only chicken added to the diet won't help. It's all about a balance. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

The good news? Every pound you shed can help reduce your girth. "Once women start losing weight, they typically lose 30% more abdominal fat Abdominal Crunches: ? Lay down flat on the floor. ? Bend the knees with feet on the floor. ? Place your hands by the side of your ears. ? Take a deep breath. ? Crunch up lifting the head and chest a bit. The aim is to try and touch the knees with the forehead. But do not try to do it in the first attempt. Give your body some time. ? Now move down gradually, exhaling the air. Descending movement must be slower than the crunch up movement. Repeat the steps 5 to 10 times some tips ? Squeeze a lemon in a cup of warm water. Drink this water as soon as you get up in the morning. Drink lots of water throughout the day, keep yourself well hydrated. ? Drink green tea in the morning. Dear lybrateuser, - You can use cumin seed as whole by cooking with food as with rice, dal potato, curry etc or its powder, about one tablespoon in the whole day is enough - you can use turmeric powder in preparing various food items as well as have it mixed with milk or powder, in the whole day can have one fourth teaspoon in a cup of milk 2-3 times - for iron you can have other sources of food items like nonveg, spinach, kale, guava, Jaggery & also if still deficient then a supplement.

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

My weight is 57 kg and having bmi 27.27. Little more than normal. I am also very short at my age in 18 is near 5 ft. I want to lose my weight and increase height too. My periods are also irregular (pcos). But my days pass in front of books I have nearly no tym for exercising. What to do?

Anyone who wants to reduce weight needs to do excercises and dieting both. If you don't pass time in front of books you don't get good exam results, same way if you don't do excercises and dieting you don't loose weight. Increase in height may not be possible, however you may try limb stretching excrcises like cycling, swimming, pull ups.

I am taking tb medicines from past 10 days and gradually m feeling better. But my knee joint is getting more and more sore everyday. It pains a lot when I try my knee to bend more than 90 degrees. Is this a side effect of tb medication. If yes what should I do?

Babies are born with ability to breast feed to sustain, rest all qualities are aquired by proper training. Give your child solid diet at frequent intervals so he learns how to eat solid diet. Gradualy child will start taking meals like you. This way he will shift from liquid to solid diet.

Dear, shampoos and oils do not make much change because, they hardly penetrate layers of skin, where roots (live part of hair) are present. Instead concentrate on food, if all other factors are fine. -protein rich diet, dry fruits-almonds, dates.

I Was hospitalised on 28 june. For stomach infection. Discharged on 3rd july. Given medications. But pain was still there. So gone for endoscopy on 2nd August. Revealed h. Pylori so ulcers. And swelling in the intestines. Enteritis. Given antibiotics. For 10 days. But after that also pain is still there. Feel pain in the lower abdomen after urinating. Is the infection still there? Cause pain is still there. Taking antacids Razo 20 mg. For next 15 days.

Avoid spicy food in your diet and Also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet and For stomach pain take tablet Meftalspas-Ds eight hourly if necessary and get your urine checked for culture and sensitivity and follow up with reports.
