MSc

5 ways to get the stamina sedentary lifestyles have taken a toll our health, impacting the stamina of our body. Whether you are an athlete or a regular person who requires building physical and mental stamina in order to easily perform daily tasks, try these 5 highly effective ways to do so. 1. Stay hydrated: drinking adequate quantity of water goes a long way in maintaining a good stamina level and also building it gradually. Water also helps fight muscle fatigue and you can also combine its consumption with certain sports drinks such as gatorade. 2. Maintain a stable sleep schedule: chronic sleep disorders have been known to lead to troublesome issues such as rapid weight gain and high blood pressure. It is very essential to get sound sleep for an adequate time period on a daily basis in order to keep your body fresh and increase stamina. 3. Follow a strict exercise regime: exercise is the best way to help your body build up stamina and increase energy levels. People who exercise on a regular basis are likely to develop an improved endurance level and stamina. Also, these people have lower fatigue levels. Try and work out for at least half an hour every day. 4. Maintain a healthy diet: food products rich in nutrients are bound to give a credible stamina boost to your body. Include foods in your diet that are rich sources of carbohydrates and starches, such as vegetables, fruits and lean meats. Also, eat small meals and consume them throughout the day. 5. Keep a positive attitude: a positive attitude helps a lot in keeping your brain cells energetic and excited. Try and focus on the work at hand and complete it in the best way possible. A healthy mind is bound to keep you feeling good and healthy, thus boosting your mental stamina.

Hi Anaemia is the big reason for weakness, and moreover during periods she bleeds. You should start her on iron tablets and she should have green leafy vegetables, jaggery, beetroot, dates to improve Haemoglobin. For improvement it will take at least 15-20 days.

Is this first time you are experiencing such problem or you are facing irregular and late periods problem since long time as Amenorrhoea at your age (other than Pregnancy) can be due Hormonal imbalance (HIB) and there are many reasons for HIB and few important ones are------------------ 1. Lifestyle---- •extreme weight loss or weight gain •excessive exercise •stress ---- 2. Polycystic ovary syndrome--------------Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) occurs when very small cysts (small, fluid-filled sacs) develop in the ovaries. The usual symptoms of PCOS are irregular or light periods or no periods at all. This is because, in women with PCOS, ovulation (the release of an egg) may not take place as often as normal. The production of hormones may also be unbalanced, and you could have higher levels of testosterone than normal. Testosterone is a male hormone that women usually have a small amount of. -------------- 3. Thyroid disorders---------------------A thyroid disorder is another possible, but rare, cause of irregular periods. The thyroid gland, found in the neck, produces hormones that maintain the body's metabolism (the chemical processes your body uses to turn food into energy). Your Gynae may test for a thyroid problem by taking a blood test to check levels of thyroid hormones in your blood. ---------------------- 4. Medicines-----------------Prolonged Usage of Certain Anti inflammatory can also lead to absence of Menstrual bleeding------------ So please provide me present and past history of your Amenorrhoea problem or visit a Gynae for a local examination and an Ultrasoung to rule out PCOD and a blood examination to rule out Thyroid or any Hormonal Imbalance-----------------------------Consult me.

I hv fully oily n pimples in my faces in these days. What shall I do to revive my skin?
Wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or picking up the pimples and blotches as it further spreads the bacteria. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Drink lots of water. Consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.

Figs are mainly made of polyunsaturated fats, which add healthy calories to your diet. Also, figs contain a good amount of carbohydrates that will help you gain weight. Soak five to six dried figs in water overnight. The next day, eat them in two parts during the day. Do this daily for about a month. Alternatively, soak two dried figs overnight in milk and eat it before breakfast. Follow this routine for two months.
