* Fiber rich foods-This is why many lists contain fiber rich foods, such as beans, legumes, various fruits and vegetables with the skin, whole grains and oats. * Foods that are high in water content Many fruits and vegetables contain a lot of water and nutrients, but are low in calories, and this is why they appear in many lists, especially watermelon. Other fruits with high content water are berries, grapefruit, melons, oranges, apples, pears and more. Vegetables that have high water content are cucumber, lettuce, celery, radish, zucchini, tomato, cabbage and more. What’s good in general about fruits and vegetables is that these foods are generally full of water and they are also a good source of fiber and many other nutrients and antioxidants. Fruits have other benefit – being sweet, so can satisfy your sweet tooth for much less calories than cookies or other sweets.

I have undergone a Mittral Valve repair on 13th of this month. The operation is successful but my heart is still running on temporary pacemaker. What should I do to make my heart beat increase. My heart beat is around 50 to 52 when pacing is turned off. Kindly suggest me on this. Thanks in advance.

Temp. Pacemaker means they will take out soon. There are medication to increase pulse rate. They will take care of it.

Intermittent fever is common in malaria, also this fever is associated with chill and rigors. The best is to get malaria slide test and if suspected then antimalarials are prescribed.

Usually diabetic person suffers from constipation at this age. My advise is use only ayurvedic drugs to avoid any side effects. Go for a walk in the morning regularly. You can also do some specific yoga exercises. Take more and more fibrous and liquid diet.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder affecting the joints, symmetrically (usually). The joints become swollen, red, hot, painful & tender. The joint movement becomes limited due to pain & swelling
It starts with inflammation of the synovial membrane but may involve the joint capsule and other surrounding soft tissues.



It is a self limiting disease. But by the time it leaves, the patient is crippled due to contractures & deformities.
Acute phase can be managed with medicines.

Commonly used medicines are ibuprofen/paracetamol/aspirin in therapeutic doses. They help to control symptoms of pain and swelling of the joints in most of the cases by their anti inflammatory properties. Fever is also controlled.

Vitamins, minerals, anti oxidents & other supportive medicines are also needed. Omega 3 fatty acids have a very definite role to play in improving the response to the treatment.

Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities.

The patient should do general exercises & keep active.

He may have to be further investigated.

In established cases of rheumatoid arthritis dmard (disease modifying drugs) e. G. Methotrexate, hcq, leflunomide, saaz etc. Have to be used.
They all are toxic drugs & can cause bone marrow depression along with other side effects. They should be taken under medical supervision.
Sometimes steroids may have to used.
The dose of these medicines should be adjusted to the minimum required, to control the symptoms.
Blood, urine tests & other investigative procedures should be done periodically to rule out any side effects.
X rays of the affected part should be done to confirm diagnosis & assess the extent of damage.
Diabetes, vitamin d deficiency or any other metabolic disorder should be ruled out. Sometimes they mimic the symptoms & create confusion in diagnosis. Associated disorders like these, most certainly affect recovery adversely.


It should be ascertained that the patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he is going to take.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disorder that lasts over many years with acute exacerbation & remissions. The earning capacity of the family is adversely affected. The cost of medical treatment is high. If the patient needs surgery, it is further escalated. Most of the population in india is not covered by any medical insurance. All these factors put together create an atmosphere of depression in the family. Patient feels morally degraded & may even develop suicidal tendency.
In a situatation like this it becomes essential that a moral support is provided to the patient by his friends & relations. Treating doctor has a very definite role to play in keeping up the moral of patient.

You may take Arnica 30 five drops daily in the morning for three days. After that Rhus Tox 30 thrice a day for two days three drops in water. Apply Ruta Q thrice daily on the injured area.

The reason for cervical lymphadenopathy is infection. Having said that she is now on akt 4 I presume that she was investigated prior to starting anti tuberculosis medication. However. The treatment for the torticollis is analgesic therapy, muscle relaxants. Gels. Physio and exercises. Ultrasound therapy will help for sure.

Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Egg white works well in order to lighten the pimple marks and the pimple scars. Take a fresh egg and break the egg, separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Apply this egg white on the pimple marks. After 10-15 minutes, wash with the cold water. Baking Soda Take some baking soda. Mix some water with the baking soda and apply this mixture on the pimple marks. Baking soda serves as an agent that carries out micro dermabrasion on the skin and helps to clear the pimple marks on the face and body. Tomatoes Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A, which helps nourish the dead skin while rejuvenating it. Hello.... If the spots are due to bad effects of sun then it can be cured very fast..... Take homoeopathic medicine Berberis aquifolium Q ( 10 drops three times a day in half cup water ).. Take this for one month..... Use homoeopathic cream Silk n Stay twice a day...... If your skin is oily then do not use the cream... Then apply berberis aquifolium Q on face after washing face with mild face wash.. Take few drops of this on cotton then apply on face only at night time...... Wear sunscreen during daytime, cover the parts adequately. Use vit c serum at bedtime. Eat vit a and vit c rich food and sleep for 7 hours a day, exercise for an hour everyday.

Hi thanks for asking your query 1) mix 10 grams of turmeric powder in 100 ml of neem oil. Apply it over the skin lesions, 30 minutes before bath, everyday. 2) gandhak rasayan tab 0-1-1 3) arogyavardhini tab 1-1-1 4) use ritha sikekai for shapoo. For 1 month thanku.

I am 27 years old female (48 kg weight). I have a severe hair fall from last year. This month I am seeing very thin hair on my scalp near temple and frond side. I am taking so much tension that's why facing more hair fall. I also have a dandruff. The dermatologist prescribed me minoxili and extend forte and vitamin d tablets .I am taking tablets from 20 days but don't want to use monoxili. I am going to get married soon. Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.
