I feel sick after every 4-5 day. I suddenly lose my confidence without any reason. Tension increase even for very very small problem. I can not sleep well at night for continuous 3-4 days after every near about 15 days. What is main reason of my all above mentioned problems?

The reason could be just stress. 1. avoid caffeine found in coffee,tea , chocolate,cola,and some pain relievers.[four to six hours before bedtime.] 2. quiet, dark, and cool environment can help promote sound sleep. . [Use heavy curtains, or an eye mask to block light, and also keeping computers, TVs, and other work materials out of the room will help promote mental bonding between your bedroom and sleep] 3. Avoid stressful, stimulating activities like doing work, discussing emotional issues. Physically and psychologically stressful activities can cause the body to secrete the stress hormone cortisol, which is associated with increasing alertness.

Change in daily schedule could lead to inadequate sleep which causes headaches. Maintain your daily routines Take adequate rest /naps in between. Eat healthy diet and drink plenty of liquids. If required, over-the-counter painkiller will help. Hope this helps u

This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. There is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If this is not enough then revert for further assessment and customized approach. By customised approach we can attempt to reverse her diabetes and achieve excellent sugar control without medication. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Continue brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day.

Be prepared Learn everything there is to know about your field, job, presentation--whatever is next on your "to conquer" list. If you are prepared, and have the knowledge to back it up, your self-confidence will soar. 5. For tough times, when all else fails: Create a great list Life is full of challenges and there are times when it's difficult to keep our self-confidence up. Sit down right now and make a list of all the things in your life that you are thankful for, and another list of all the things you are proud of accomplishing. Once your lists are complete, post them on your refrigerator door, on the wall by your desk, on your bathroom mirror--somewhere where you can easily be reminded of what an amazing life you have and what an amazing person you really are. If you feel your self-confidence dwindling, take a look at those lists and let yourself feel and be inspired all over again by you.

10 years before doctors are declared my problem as paranormal personality disorder. After tat because of my patience level I never turned into this situation .bt now again having the same problem .i cannot control myself. And I also hided this problem from my husband and married him. Thats y he does not aware of my problem and continuously giving me more tension. And again I am going to tat deep depression level and my mind will not be stable. Now I have 2 years old baby. I am having fear about that whether she may have a same problem or not when she grows. Now I am mentally collapsed. I can not talk to anyone normally. And also having fear abt that if my husband il know the full problem is he accept me in his life or leave me I dnt know that. I am in confusion stage. I got married before four years. For this four years I controlled myself whenever I got tension bt nowadays I can not act like a normal girl again behaviour changing it affects my whole family they are worried abt me so .now I will go to singapore within 4 days. I am having lot of tension and fear. Today again I am going to the same hospital in which I got treatment before ten years. Also I have posted this for immediate medicine and solution. Please help me and reply me soon. I am in a worse situation. My health is in worse condition.

Hi, Did you mean you have been diagnosed with Paranoid Personality Disorder? If yes then, it is a disorder that can be managed with regular medication and counselling. Because you could not tell your husband about your condition, you must have had to deal with the emotional turmoil of hiding this secret and worrying if he would get to know about your condition. It can lead to stress and anxiety. In addition, being a mother to a newborn comes with its own share of challenges, for a woman it can result in a variety of hormonal changes. The hormonal changes may have affected your condition and your medication may need alteration. When are the last time you visited your psychiatrist? Pls get a new diagnosis and prescription is what I would suggest, before you leave. I would also advise regular counselling. You need support and you are not alone. There is no need for you to face this alone, seek support and tell you husband about your condition. Trust is most important in a relationship. Be honest and allow him to support you. Also, understanding a bit more about your condition is important, people are there to help you. Hope you feel better soon.

You always feel to have sex or smoke. Don't worry, I advise you to be vegetarian. Take plenty of water. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Do meditation for mental strength daily to increase your focus and willpower to quit such thinking. Whenever such thoughts come to your mind, replace these thoughts by good thoughts by saying or teaching your mind that these thoughts are not good for health and sex. Slowly and steadily, you will definitely win over such thoughts. Follow this and give feedback.

two or three large pegs are advisable. in your opinion it is 7 or 10 small pegs. it is ok. taking too much at one time leads so many problems. morning head weight, head ache, lack of sleep, weakness next day. take two pegs and eat good food. then you feel normal next day. taking heavy at one time it is not advisable. there are so many problems in home or road accidents or you may slip your tongue. some times it may not expectable. at your age beer is advisable. two or three is ok. dont ignore food after drinking. take heavy water after drinking. eat small snacks do not take heavy food. it is better to take with fruits. dont take alone. take with your friends. drinking means enjoyable thing. but not getting any problems. so take it mind. it is better to take 2 or 3 large pegs weekly once. ok enjoy every movement of life with magic movements. ok all the best.

I can't concentrate properly on my books. I usually think a lot, bt can't read regularly, meanwhile I start thinking, pls help me out.

Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and or callisthenic exercise with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. The right brain also indulges in a lot of lateral thinking, which is normally good for creativity. But in your case it will creatively increase the problem and make you more disturbed. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling.

Dear lybrate user. It has to be decided by your doctor whether to treat your symptoms with testosterone replacement therapy or by any other means, say, surgical removal of excessive fat aound your breasts based on your serum testosterone level. Generally trt produced good results and not expensive.

I am about 22yrs since i passed my class 4th exam i am unable to concentrate in my studies. Some how i did the Board . But now i cannot rely on being luck to pass. I have to prepare my future. My bachmates have gone far as becoming engineers, chartered accountants. I have lacked down. The main reason is that i am unable to study. As soon as i see the books i have headaces and everything blackouts. I am in a Depressed situation now. I am unable to remember things and do certain activities in the manner in which i was told to do so. I dont see my improvement in any thing.

What you are going through is greaving. Loosing loved one is not easy to deal with emotionally. I am sorry for your loss. There are few things I would like you to try. 1. When you feel sad. Feel the feeling of sadness fully. You may close your eyes and let that sadness flow through your mind and body. If tears flow let them flow. Cry it out. Feeling what you feel fully and totally is healing. Once you feel your sadness fully. You might feel the lightness in your heart. Feel that too and say out loud. How wonderful! and engage your mind remembering some good qualities and good times you spent with the person you are missing. 2. Regular simple breath awareness meditation also help manage your loss. 3. You may also l write daily 3 to 5 things you are grateful to every morning. These things could be as simple as having a bed to sleep and food to eat. Affirm what you write and add new thing in your list for 7 to10 days. Along wit this engaging yourself in some kind of physical exercise such as walking or yoga. 5. Engaging yourself with something like reading, listening to good upbeat music, gardening will also help you feel little lighter. 6. You may decide to go out and help someone in need. Rendon act of kindness has been proven helpful in both greaving process and depression. If you are not feeling any change over next 2 weeks or if you lack motivation to initiate and maintain above activities then revert and we could work together for few weeks to reverse your cycle and help you appreciate what you have. Although no preventive measures could be prooved 100 percent effective, you may adopt a stress free mental health promoting lifestyle in the form of early morning awakening before sunrise, daily yoga/meditation, morning jog/walk, good nutritious diet with plenty of salads, sprouts and fruits, adequate rest, recreation and socialization, pursuing your hobbies regularly, evening games and sports and sound sleep. Early symptoms are insomnia, feeling that something sinister is going to happen, remaining aloof and withdrawn, hearing strange voices, suspecting others, poor performance at school and work and not able to take care of self.

Hi! mindfulness is an appropriate exercise for controlling anger. You are quite aware of the side effects of getting unnecessary angry as you have lost a close friend. Try to concentrate on whatever you do, attend to your immediate environment even when you are eating, watching tv. Avoid judging people as they will not behave according to you. Try to be in their shoes and then take your decision. It is tough to be calm and easy to blame others when we are in difficult situation and the close ones are the victim in such situations. We always take them for granted. Responding and reacting are two different things.

Dear lybrate-user, try this method many people are success first and most sleep early wake up early at 4.0 am and study with fresh mind, of course subjects which you are not interested you must spend more time and repeat it many times" practice makes perfect" not only human including pets. Parrots are talking and dogs are dancing. Switch off mobile phone when you go to bed and switch it on at 6am. Example some people they don't like mathematics but it is essential for life everyday and every time we are depended on mathematics, right from doctor to business man, including vegetable seller, we can understand many other distraction disturbed minds it is like love issues. Still not able to concentrate go for counselling help in person. Please give us feedback after trying for weekdays.

I am 35 years old married women. Living with joint family of in laws with my 4 yrs daughter and husband. We were separated for two years, now from last may we living together again. All my efforts. He was continueously opposed of being united again. It was our 17 year long love affair before marriage, and our daughter made me took this decision to come back to him. So I did. But nothing left there for me. Which I realised all through the time. But didnt got any acurate answer that why it is not working for our relation, and then after last diwali I got my answer. He has an affair with the young girl of our society. They had physical relation also. She was ready to being his keep. I got mad. He take ooth against god that he still love me. He still want us in his life. I was reckless dont understand what was right what was wrong. I love him so much that I asked him to leave that girl and he was ready. Even that girl also ready to break all that shit. But from last five months I am going through all the shit of confusions. Tensions. I dont understand what I m currently living a life or a hell? please help me to solve this. I hate myself for being so shukkky. Its always in my mind may be they are still together. May be he still cheated on me?

You could be under some form of stress. If you meet with a counselor and get that taken care of a lot of hair fall may diminish. Anyway, everyone one of us will lose hair to the extent of 75-100 per day, whether we like it or not. They are however also constantly replaced as you keep growing. There are however some bad habits that we do as youngsters that may increase hair fall: like combing your hair too often, pulling at your hair too strongly, shampooing everyday especially with strong and highly chemically based shampoos, improper diet, stress, not massaging your scalp (you need to gently do circular massage with your finger-tips everyday to strengthen the roots), is natural cleansers like shikkakai powder, liquids etc. Less exposure to direct sunlight, less use of hairsprays, hair gels, styling creams, and so on. You could also have a genetic factor inherited from your parents that will cause excess hair fall and baldness. You must also exercise regularly, sleep adequately, and eat well from the list below of good food for prevention: carrots, prunes, green peas, oats, shrimp, walnuts, eggs, chicken, low-fat dairy products, spinach, sweet potatoes, lentils, strawberry, oranges, papaya, blueberries, lime, kiwi fruit, mango, melon, broccoli, winter squash apricots, green and red peppers, millet, barley, wheat, cucumber, rice, bean sprouts, asparagus, black sesame seeds, garlic, cabbage, onions, turnips, lettuce, brussels sprouts, kale, seaweed, dry fruits, liver, salmon, tuna and oysters. Wow, that is indeed a good and exhaustive list.
