You can contact us for a permanent treatment of your problem. In the mean time you can follow some tips like these. We normally lose about fifty to hundred hair each day, more than this is a cause of concern. Hair growth has its own cycle, which normally lasts between two to six years. It grows, take rest, and falls out. Hair is made up of protein. Baldness refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp. Causes of hair loss * over-exposure to sun * excess application of shampoos or colourants * unhealthy diet - inadequate protein or iron in your diet * physical or emotional stress * unclean scalp * hormonal changes * pollution * heredity * aging home remedies for hair loss * grind amla (indian gooseberry), shikakai and dry neem leaves together and apply this paste on the hair. * mix egg white with curd and henna. Apply this on hair to prevent hair fall. * boil some leaves of henna with mustard oil. Massage of this oil is very effective to treat hair loss. * mix honey with few drops of kanta karika juice and apply this mixture on your scalp. * boil fenugreek seeds with olive oil, fill it in a bottle. Massage your hair with this oil to reduce the hair loss. * mix 1 tablespoon of cumin to 1/2 a cup of olive oil and rub into the scalp, leave for half an hour and wash off. * eat amla daily, it helps in preventing hair fall. * massage your scalp with aloe vera gel or coconut oil, three times a week. * boil neem leaves in water. Let it cool and rise your hair with this water. Hair loss prevention/advice * drink plenty of water everyday * use mild shampoos and condition your hair daily * include protein, zinc and iron in your diet * avoid using hair dryers * avoid using colourants * avoid twisting, rubbing or pulling your hair * keep your scalp clean * eat green and leafy vegetables.

Prefer Social Isolation - Can it be a Sign of Avoidant Personality Disorder?

Don’t like social gatherings? Have you always been the one who avoids family get together? If your answer is affirmative, then you are probably suffering from Avoidant personality disorder (APD).  Avoidant personality disorder is a psychological condition wherein, one feels extremely shy. Becoming overly sensitive to rejection and developing feelings of inadequacy are common signs of this disorder. This disorder can lead to problems in your work life and relationships.

Symptoms
With APD, the commonly surfacing symptoms would include disapproval and disregard of situations and people, rejection and embarrassment. It generally gets very difficult for the one to get acquainted with new people and form intimate relationships. One generally ends up misinterpreting people’s comments and criticism thus, feeling angry and frustrated all the more.

Causes
The exact cause of APD has not been established yet. It is believed that environmental and genetic factors play a role in this disorder. People who are inherently shy and reserved are usually prone to developing this psychological anomaly.

How do you treat APD?
In order to treat APD, you can opt for the following modes of treatment:

  1. Psychotherapy: Cognitive behavioral therapy is a treatment option for APD wherein, the doctor counsels on how to change one’s thinking patterns and thought process, thus, influencing his/her actions.
  2. Psychodynamic psychotherapy: Psychodynamic therapy involves you becoming aware of the unconscious thoughts. It helps you figure out how your past experiences frame your behavior. Your past emotional pains can be resolved with this technique so that you can move ahead with your life.
  3. Medications: Anti-depressant medications used to treat depression and anxiety can be used to treat APD. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a psychiatrist and ask a free question.

I have suffer from yellow teeth. What should I have to do to reduce the yellowness of teeth.

BDS
Dentist, Panchkula
There is a procedure known as bleaching which will whiten your teeth. First scaling and polishing of the teeth is performed followed by bleaching with lasers. Brushing keeps your teeth clean, free from decay and deposits but every person has his/her own natural colour of teeth so you cannot change your teeth colour by brushing but with bleaching we can. Consult the dentist to undergo this procedure of bleaching.

Currently you are beyond the diabetes borderline. If you eat proper diet and remain fit, you can bring it down.

What to Expect with Hair Transplant Procedure?

What to Expect with Hair Transplant Procedure?

Look around you and you will certainly notice some of your friends already are sporting bald patches or thinning hair even before they reach an age of 40. Until a few years back, baldness was seen as a sign of age or hereditary baldness, but today, there are a number of factors such as stress, environmental pollution or hormonal changes that trigger hair loss or baldness. For all those suffering from this problem, the good news is that science has found a way to cover these bald patches and thicken thin hair through a surgical procedure known as hair transplant surgery.

Hair transplant surgery is of two types; follicular unit strip surgery (FUSS or FUT) and follicular unit extraction (FUE). The former involves removing a strip of the scalp from the back of the head and dividing it into thousands of grafts each with a few hair follicles. On the other hand, follicular unit extraction involves plucking the hair follicles out individually to be made into grafts. These grafts are then inserted into tiny incisions on the bald areas of scalp. Depending on the size of area to be covered, this procedure could take 4-8 hours. You can also take the package for

Post surgery, the patient is prescribed some medication to relieve the pain and itching sensation. You should be able to return to work within a week. After 2 to 3 weeks of the process, the transplanted hair begins to fall out in order to make way from the new growth which may take up to few months. This is normal so do not stress yourself about this. Most people will notice 60% of new hair growth in 6 to 7 months. Full growth occur in one year. In some cases, patients may be prescribed a hair growing drug such as minoxidil to improve the quality and speed of hair growth.

A hair transplant surgery does not address the cause for hair fall and hence in some cases, a repeat procedure becomes necessary. If you wish to discuss about any specific hair problem, you can consult a specilized dermatologist and ask a free question.
