A syndrome characterized amenorrhoea, vasomotor disturbance often a wide variety of other symptoms which occurs when ovarian activity ceases physiolgically or after oophorectomy or irradiation of the ovaries.
Aetiology:-

The menopause normally occurs between the age of 40 and 55. The cause of menopausal symptoms is not know, but there is good reason for believing they are not all due to the same factor. The hot flushes have been attributed on scant evidence to the incrased secretion of gonadotrophins.
Many of the other manifestations seem to be expressions of anxiety, depression, or a hypothalamic fuctional disturbance.
 The pathology ovaries become fibrosed no longer contain ova. All the accessory sexual organs atrophy  the secondary sexual characteistics regress. Senile vaginitis, kraurosis vulvac, & leucoplakia may occur.

 Symptoms
Menstruation may cease abruptly, or the periods may become progressively more scanty or occur less frequenily. The incidence, frequency intensity of hot flushes vary considerably. They may occur at times of anxiety or without any apparent precipitating cause. Only the upper part of the body is affected; the feeling of intense heat may or may not be associated with flushing of the skin.

Increased perspiration may wet the hair be particularly troublesome at night. Other more variable symptoms include palpitations, dizziness, shortness of breath, headaches, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, weepiness,  sleep disturbances. Depression leads to overeating  increase in weight which may aggrsavate degenerative arthritis. Later complications include pruritus vulvae, senile vaginitis, leucoplakia, postmenopausal osteoporosis.

I am cigrate addicted and I want to quit it but I need a cigrate to go toilet, if I don't have it I don't feel my motion and its continues to 2 or 3 days. So please suggest me some treatment so that I can quit it. I took only 2 cigrate in a day its my problem.

Two cigarettes are fine but dont get habituated & big glass of warm water early in the morning for your constipation.

Bleeding loose gums,bad breath,brown layer formation at the edges of teeth. What is the remedy?

Hello, It seems that you are having gingivitis and localized periodontics. You have to go through a complete scaling and root planning i.E, cleaning of your teeth. The brown layer which you see is calculus. After it use proper brushing technique after meals and some good mouth wash and get your teeth cleaned regularly in 6-12 months gap. Regards! I am 52 years old male have a Heel spur and have started taking Rhus Toxicodendron 30CH and CalcareaFluorica 30 drops, 3 each twice a day do I need to maintain any food habit. And taking thyronorm 100 for my thyroid imbalance can you suggest some for thyroid too.

Yes you can do that by some modification in your diet & excercise. I am talking about healthy diet not dieting. You can lose your weight upto 5 kg by following a good diet plan & excercise or a healthy diet with right ratio of calories, protein & carb. You have to avoid such type of unhealthy food like fried, oily foods, fast & junk food, tea, coffee, sugary products & sugary drinks. You should take a healthy breakfast. If you want to lose your weight please don't skip it because it will help you to boost your metabolism, includes salad with lunch & dinner. Use 6 small meal pattern instead of 3 major meal.

For fair skin: • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water twice a week. • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week.. • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it once a week. • Eat More fruits daily. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion.
