Dear user. FERTILE PHASE is the phase of a female's menstrual cycle when an egg (ovule) is released from the ovaries. In humans, ovulation occurs about midway through the menstrual cycle, after the follicular phase. The few days surrounding ovulation (from approximately days 10 to 18 of a 28 day cycle), constitute the most fertile phase. So if you have ejaculatory sexual inter course from day 10 from the first day of period and to day 20, the chances of pregnancy are much more. There are many determinants of pregnancy. You should be sexually matured. Your partner should be sexually matured. The period of your partner should be in the fertile stage. Her egg and your sperm cells should healthy enough. Then her uterus should be capable to get conceived. If all these were satisfied, the pregnancy could be a result. Take care.

Hi, I am pregnant, in my 8th month and I am in USA. Recently I got a dental gum pain, followed by left face pain and now the whole head s paining. I consulted a dentist and a ENT specialist. Dentist says he can see gum irritation but no infection. General physician says no ear infection, no inflammation in the nasal tract.. No swelling in face, no bleeding, no foreign body stuck in between teeth, no caries tooth. Had a gum cleaning to Check for any infection. They gave me anesthesia on one side to do the gum cleaning but the pain in the gum did not subside. But they say things are fine and asked to goggle with salt water alone. But the pain has not subsided so far.

Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder. In myofascial pain syndrome, pressure on sensitive points in your muscles (trigger points) causes pain in seemingly unrelated parts of your body. This is called referred pain. Myofascial pain syndrome typically occurs after a muscle has been contracted repetitively. This can be caused by repetitive motions used in jobs or hobbies or by stress-related muscle tension. While nearly everyone has experienced muscle tension pain, the discomfort associated with myofascial pain syndrome persists or worsens. Treatment options for myofascial pain syndrome include physical therapy and trigger point injections. Pain medications and relaxation techniques also can help.

Me and my wife are trying to conceive for 2 years. She started having irregular periods 6 months after marriage. Doctor did laparoscopy, tubal test and ovarian drilling for pcos. She is having induced periods after that. After inducing periods, doctor directly started giving FSH injections 75 mg and follicular study. He concluded that she is not ovulating and decided to double the dosage next cycle. But she ovulated late that same cycle and got pregnant. But it ended up in a miscarriage after 6 weeks (spontaneous miscarriage). After one month doctor again started giving FSH injections and she started having heavy mid cycle bleeding. She consulted another doctor and she gave her metformin 500 for 30 days and siphene 50 mg without follicular study. That month she got her periods naturally. Right now she is only taking metformin. Will this help her to ovulate naturally. She got periods last months naturally. Does that mean that she ovulated last month? Her tubal test is clear and hormonal profile is normal and no thyroid issues. Her weight is 72 and height is 5 feet 4 inches.

Your wife would need to document ovulation by ultrasound or blood test to be sure of ovulation and guide you about the fertile period to time intercourse. This would help to decide on further management also. Only metformin may not induce ovulation for sure but yes it causes weight reduction which help in spontaneous ovulation.

Irregular periods can be caused due to menstrual cycle disorders. They are very common and can be easily treated with medications. Every month the brain, ovaries & uterus follow a sequence of events to prepare the body for pregnancy. There are four major hormones which are at play here, the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone and estrogen. Menstrual cycle disorders occur from conditions that affect the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, ovaries, uterus, cervix, or vagina. You should also look out for other signs such as pregnancy, family history of irregular periods, Acne issues, hair on face or chest, gained weight recently, hot flashes, night sweats, frequent headaches, stress or taking any herbal medications. You should urgently see a doctor if you have been having irregular periods for more than three menstrual periods (either consecutively or over the course of a year). In physical exam, we will thoroughly check your reproductive organs and breast. Commonest test done are hemoglobin, iron studies, hormonal assays and ultrasound abdomen. Treatment is given depending upon the cause which can be found out after thorough examination by a Homoeopath, so visit your nearest Homoeopath today.

If she had periods now, why are you worried. Remember prevention is better than cure. Repeated abortions are bad for future pregnancies.

1. Have sex & masturbate less often - the more times you ejaculate, the less dense your semen will be. Maintain a gap of 3 days between two consecutive ejaculations. 2. Refrain from habits like smoking, alcohol consumption etc. - alcohol affects your liver function, which, in turn, causes a dramatic rise in estrogen levels. Even two drinks a day will have long-term effects on sperm production 3. Exercise regularly. Exercising your pc muscle can help you shoot further than ever before. 4. Eat nutritious food - diet that's low in fat, and high in protein, vegetables, and whole grains is good for your health and for your sperm. Avoid bitter, astringent and spicy foods. Reduce caffeine intake 5. Avoid heating of testicles - wear loose, cotton boxer shorts, avoid hot baths and saunas 6. Lose any excess weight, which tends to cause testosterone/oestrogen imbalances. 7. Reduce stress levels by learning relaxation techniques - keep your mind and body healthy by regular practice of yoga and meditation. 8. Massage body with herbal oil, which improves blood circulation. 9. Try supplements - certain natural supplements promise to increase sperm production. Checkout some natural and herbal, no side effects supplements at 10. Make love in the early morning or afternoon. Sperm levels are often highest in the mornings.

Hello- Pregnancy test comes positive after ten days of missed period. This missed period refers to pregnancy induced missed period. So if your wife gets pregnant thn you should perform pregnancy test not on next day of sex.

You should have avoided such experiments. The chances of pregnancy are almost nil especially if you did not penetrate. Now the only thing you should do is wait for her periods and if she skips her periods ,you should perform a urine pregnancy test and act accordingly. All the best.

Beat the Summer Heat - Easy Homeopathic Remedies for It!

The heat in summers can be dangerous. The heated summers bring along the medical conditions that need attention while enjoying sun-filled fun. It’s time to stock your cabinet with your summer arsenal. This year consider doing it with homeopathic preparations. They are safe, non-toxic with relatively simple guidelines for first aid use and equally effective for children and elders alike. The underlying principle of homeopathy involves taking a substance that can cause symptoms similar to those that a person is experiencing in illness.

The homeopathic remedies work rapidly to relieve pain, speed healing, and prevent infection. In addition, homeopathic treatments are safe, gentle, non-toxic, pleasant tasting and without side effects. In hot weather our body’s store of vital fluids and salts decreases as we sweat, taking with them nutrients we need to function healthily. This can lead to common problems such as dehydration and exhaustion, or even heat stroke which can sometimes be fatal.

Some of the symptoms include:

  1. Excessive sweating
  2. Cold and clammy skin
  3. Quickened pulse and breathing
  4. Headache
  5. Dizziness
  6. Nausea
  7. Muscle cramps and stomach pain

Homeopathic remedies are non-toxic and a safe way to help the body to replenish its store of the cell salts and nutrients it needs in warmer periods and help to relieve cramps, aches and fatigue. Some of the most common homeopathic medicines are:

  1. Calendula: This is an all-purpose medicine for many kinds of skin damage that many of us face during the summer season. When the skin gets damaged due to wounds, infection, prolonged sun exposure and even excessive pollution and dirt, one can try using calendula.
  2. Arnica: All that running around on the beach can easily give you sore muscles, while the heat can sap up your energy and leave you fatigued. In such cases, Arnica is the perfect homeopathic answer to your maladies. This medicine can be used for topical application if bought in its cream or gel form.
  3. Belladonna: Sun strokes, dehydration and over-exposure to the sun, in general, can give you a host of problems and conditions including heat headaches. In order to treat such conditions, one can use Belladonna, which is a homeopathic medicine used for sun-stroke related ailments and symptoms.
  4. Rhus Toxicodendron: This medicine is also known as Rhus Tox. It is made from poison ivy extracts and is an effective drug when it comes to dealing with itchy rashes. These rashes may be caused because of exposure to oak, sumac and even poison ivy.
  5. Ledum: Ledum or Ledum Palustre is one of the best homeopathic drugs when it comes to treating insect bites during summers.
  6. Euphrasia Officinalis: This medicine is most commonly used for eye related problems that may come about due to sun exposure or excessive sweating and other heat related factors.

How to stay safe in sun

  • It is always advised to drink plenty of water or drinks during summers, to cool down your body and to remain hydrated.
  • If you are suffering from tiredness, headaches or any other conditions which may be aggravated in the warmer months, consult a specialised homeopath who will look at your diet, mood, sleep and lifestyle prescribe a suitable homeopathic remedy for you to take. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a homeopath.
