My teeth are almost yellow any toothpaste or medicine for making it clean and white.

My teeth are almost yellow any toothpaste or medicine for making it clean and white.
You may try snowdent toothpaste. It creates mild bleaching effect to whiten your teeth. Or you may make fresh paste by mixing baking soda and water, put it on your tooth brush and brush your teeth (not more that 2 minutes). This home remedy may help you to whiten your teeth. If still doesn't help you then ask your dentist about professional bleaching of teeth.

Sir. I have B/L Knees pain from last 5 years. Also some time back pain from 10 years. Can back pain radiates to knees or there is different cause for knees pain and back pain.

Hi knee pain and backache have various causes for chronic pains and each should be evaluated with x rays/ MRI scans. Yes if deformed knees from long standing arthritis, then abnormal stress to spine is transmitted with secondary changes. Any way, both area causes should be treated. Commonly it's osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease at both places, if arthritis profile blood tests don't show any other form of arthritis. Management is by anti inflammatory drugs, physiotherapy mainly unless advanced stages when corrective surgery is done. So consult an orthopedics surgeon best wishes.

My friend has a problem of hairfall. Give some solutions for preventing this problem.

My friend has a problem of hairfall. Give some solutions for preventing this problem.
For a comprehensive, hair fall prevention regimen, you need to be equipped with a diet plan that includes foods that can arrest hair fall and stimulate better scalp health. Recommendations here include eating more seeds and nuts (almonds and peanuts) along with green leafy vegetables like spinach and sprouts of a variety of dals (legumes). Basically, foods rich in calcium, protein and iron are vital for ensuring overall health of the scalp. Combine this with some basic dietary supplementation, i.e. using over-the-counter products that help to ensure wholesome nutrition for your hair. Regular intake of Amla juice ensures adequate amounts of Vitamin C but you can boost this with eating more guavas. Ensure you take a multivitamin that combines beta-carotenes, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin E and trace amounts of zinc and iron.

I am 24 years old male suffering from alopecia bland spot in my head kindly suggest me what to do.
alooecia can be associated with pernicious anaemia, hypothyroidism, inflammatory bowel disease, nutritional deficiency, diabetes, stress. These have to be evaluated. You also have to make a lot of lifestyle changes. Stay away from chemicals like hair dyes, bleaches. Avoid straighteners and hot combs. Stay away from alcohol and caffeinated drinks like coffee and cola since they produce antioxidants which damage free radicals. Exercise regularly for it promotes blood flow and enhances healthy, shiny hair growth. Yoga and meditation help destress. You vil need to take biotin tablets everyday after breakfast. You vil also require medicines and injections.

It is important to keep HbA1c <7%. This should be tested 3 monthly. If it is less than &% you can try reducing your medicines after consulting the doctor. Yes it is possible for some people to stop medicines if their blood glucose control is good. Fasting glucose should preferably be <110 mg/dl and 2h post meal glucose should be preferably <160 mg/dl.

If you are really happy with the fact that you have lost weight and now have a size zero figure like your favourite celebrity, then you should know what damage you are doing to your health. Balance is the key factor behind good health. Obesity is such a big problem that one ignores the problems of people who are underweight. Fat is no doubt bad for health but some amount of fat is essential for the body to utilize it like a fuel to store energy. People of body mass index (BMI) less than 18.5 might have chronic health problems in the long run. . Underweight men can?t escape either they also have sexual problems like erectile dysfunction, painful intercourse and problems in ejaculation. A man?s weight and the health of the sperm are also interlinked. Here is another diet plan that lets you understand more. You can follow either the below one or the above one. Both will help you to plan the meals accordingly in order to gain weight. The food items that should be incorporated in the diet are: ? Full cream milk ? Beans, lentils and other such protein-rich foods ? Fruits and vegetables ? Cereals ? Healthy fats and oils ? Healthy desserts Keeping all these items in mind, we should divide the 3 major meals of the day into 7 smaller meals. So, here is another sample meal plan analysis, which can be followed for some healthy weight gain.

Depression - Know the Tell Tale Signs!

Feeling sad is one thing, but a persistent feeling of sadness can overtake your life, and is anything but healthy. Depression is not something to be ashamed of. It is a common condition, that can be treated if identified early.

Treatment of depression usually involves a combination of medication and psychotherapy. The effects of depression vary from person to person, but some symptoms are commonly experienced in all cases. These symptoms can be categorised as physical changes, behavioural changes, cognitive changes and emotional changes

  1. Physical symptoms of depression: Feeling tired all the time is one of the most common symptoms of depression. The person may also have persistent headaches and sporadic muscle pains. Insomnia or sleep troubles are often associated with depression. This can further lead to significant fatigue, and a vicious cycle ensues. Sleep troubles can also lead to the formation of dark circles under the eyes, and make the patient’s skin look dull. Patients suffering from depression often find themselves losing weight due to a significant loss of appetite, or find themselves snacking excessively, and hence, putting on weight.
  2. Behavioural symptoms of depression: Depression can make a person withdraw from his or her friends and family and become a recluse. A loss of interest in activities that would usually excite the person is another characteristic symptom of depression. This condition can make a person unable to concentrate or focus on work and other activities, and hence, may affect productivity in school or the workplace. Depression can also make a person rely heavily on alcohol, sedatives etc.
  3. Cognitive symptoms of depression: Depression can make a person feel worthless, and leave them with a bleak outlook on life. A depressed person will often find himself or herself criticising themselves harshly for things that may or may not be their fault. This can make them increasingly more agitated or irritable. Depressed people may also turn to violence and trigger reckless behaviour such as gambling, substance abuse, reckless driving or taking up a rash sport.
  4. Emotional symptoms of depression: Feeling sad for no reason characterises depression. This sadness can overwhelm a person and make them feel guilty about indulging in anything that could make them happier. It can also make the person lose confidence in himself/herself, thus making him/her indecisive about simple decisions. Other emotions that are commonly experienced by depressed people include irritability, frustration, guilt, and disappointment.

A frequent but ignored symptom is thoughts of self-harm or suicide, leading to deliberate self-harm/suicide attempts. If you or someone you know suffers from any of the above symptoms, you may need help! Visit your Psychiatrist at the earliest to have yourself evaluated, and started on an appropriate course of management.

Hi, I am a thin guy. I want your help. Help me in diets. So that I could build my physique.

Hi, I am a thin guy. I want your help. Help me in diets. So that I could build my physique.
If you have a fast metabolism and you want to bulk up, changing the way you eat and exercise can help you gain weight more quickly. While you can always gain weight by eating junk food and getting little exercise, the healthier way to do it is by eating plenty of nutrient-rich food and weight training to build up your muscle mass. It?s not going to happen overnight, but if you start right away you?ll see results within a few weeks. Eat more than three meals a day. If you naturally have a really fast metabolism, eating three meals a day, Eating this much can take a lot of effort, since you need to stock up on enough food to feed yourself more often. Pack calorie-rich snacks you can eat on the go, like bananas and peanut butter or dense granola bars. Eat plenty of calories at every meal. Eating five small, low-calorie meals isn?t going to cut it; they?ve got to be big and rich in calories. Load up on a restaurant-sized meal each time, with big portions of meat, vegetables, and a carbohydrate. Eating this much might not exactly feel comfortable, but it?s the best way to gain weight fast. ? A large enough breakfast might consist of a three-egg omelet, two slices of bacon or sausage, a cup of roasted breakfast potatoes and a glass of orange juice. ? For lunch, try a fully dressed turkey club on whole wheat bread, two bananas, and a salad. ? Dinner could be a grilled steak, loaded baked potato and a few cups of grilled veggies. For ayurvedic medicine consult, in 1 month weight increase 4-5 kg no side effect you take 1 month trial pack and course is for 3 months

I have exam on 23rd August. Feeling very nervous and bit of exhausted. What should I do?

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

I have exam on 23rd August. Feeling very nervous and bit of exhausted. What should I do?
Yes, this may be true because of your age and a lot of stress. I suspect that you are going through a spurt in the production of the male sex hormone, which affects you in three ways quite unknown to you. First, there will be a sexual agenda that it will kick off, secondly, there will be aggressiveness and rebelliousness, and thirdly, you will suffer from acne and pimple problems. This is the effect of the hormone that has a duration of almost two years and you will have no control over it. But if you have a good value system you will tide over this phase without significant damage. The hormonal imbalances may not only impact your memory because of the chemical but also bring along some distractions that come with it. But you may work on the following even if the hormones kick in: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that you and the family go for counseling too.
