What is the reason of stomach pain during periods and what can we do for pain relief.
At time of menstruation, while trying to remove endometrium and blood , uterus contracts so you get pain. Pain killer antispasmodic is answer.. But if severe then one has to meet Gynecologist to rule out some pathology.

13 to 20 th day is best do not go for passing urine immidiatly as semen deposited in vagina can leak out of vagina so chances of pregnency can be reduced.

Moving echoes are due to blood flowing through it and it can be present in different phases. So AMH is anti mullerian hormone which have to be tested to find the reservoir of ovulation. If this hormone is in normal limits which shows how much reservoir a female have to get ovulation or to get a pregnancy.

If your test is showing negative then that means pregnancy is no more there your next cycle may get disturbed as unwanted kit is hormonal tablets and it can disturb your cycles for sometime.

Hello Dear,Periods occur when the egg formed during each menstrual cycle in the female body is not fertilized and hence ejected out of the reproductive system along with blood and several other tissue cells. The duration of each menstrual cycle is about 28 days Most women will experience their monthly period right from the time they are 13 to the time they are 50. For many women, their monthly period is nothing more than an annoyance; but other women may suffer some problems.

Cervical Cancer Screening - When Should You Get It Done?

Cervical Cancer Screening - When Should You Get It Done?

Cervical cancer refers to the type of cancer that spreads through abnormal cells, which may be found in the lining of the cervix. This affects the lower part or the womb of the body. This may also be medically known as the uterine cervix. This kind of cancer is considered one of the most preventable ones. There are various kinds of screening tests that can help in early detection so that the symptoms become clear and the problem can be treated before the cancer spreads or malignancy sets in.

Read on to know more about the various screening measures that can help in treating and preventing the same.

  1. Pap smear test: This is one of the most recommended and easiest tests conducted for cervical cancer screening. The pap smear test is recommended for all women who have been through child birth. In this form of screening, the doctor usually takes a sample from the cervix of the patient. This will be then be put through a lab test to find any kind of anomalies in the cells of the cervix. This test is also strongly recommended on an annual basis for women who are going through menopause, as this is the time when the cells undergo maximum changes.
  2. HPV test: The HPV test can be conducted along with the pap smear test so as to find out if the HIV virus is active as well.
  3. Pelvic exam: In order to conduct screening for cervical cancer, the doctor may also ask the patient for a pelvic exam. In this test, the doctor checks the various areas like the uterus, the cervix and ovaries so as to ensure that there are no anomalies and irregular changes in these areas or organs of the body. This exam can help the doctor in finding any changes that may point at the risk of developing cervical cancer.
  4. Reading the test results: The doctor will usually take a look at the test results before making a clear diagnosis and recommending a course of medication or other kinds of treatment so as to prevent the spread or onset of cancer. For cases where this type of cancer has already progressed to a great degree, the doctor will usually recommend chemotherapy as well as radiation and sometimes, even surgery.

When should you get a screening test done?
Once you are above 21 years of age or have had a baby, it is imperative to get a screening test done at least annually. It is also important to get this done once a year if you are going through menopause. The doctors may ask you not to go through a test, if your previous three tests have been clear.

I am 38 years old unmarried virgin woman. I had recently been diagnosed with cervical polyp. When I checked on Internet, it was mentioned it mostly happens in case of pregnant women or old woman. A cervical polyp is a common benign polyp or tumour on the surface of the cervical canal. They can cause irregular menstrual bleeding but often show no symptoms. Treatment consists of simple removal of the polyp and prognosis is generally good. The cause of cervical polyps is not clearly understood. They might develop from an infection, chronic (long-term) inflammation, or an obstruction or any alteration in blood vessels in the cervical canal. However, large or multiple polyps can sometimes cause problems with fertility or result in recurrent miscarriage. Both polyps and fibroids in the uterine cavity can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding and occasionally cramping. These polyps and fibroids are almost always benign but they may need to be removed to render implantation. The risk of bleeding, infection or injury to the uterus is extremely rare. However, it is the submucosal myoma, inside the uterine cavity, that produces an IUD-like effect of irritating the uterine lining which can prevent implantation. Endometrial polyps (endometrial tissue protruding into the uterine cavity) may have a similar effect.
