1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

General Physician,
Hello,
Can you please suggest how can I prevent hairloss.
As I am pure vegetarian can't eat egg. please suggest.
Apply coconut oil and do not shampoo or soap it. Hair fall is a very common phenomenon that plagues millions of people around the globe. Most of you take supplements of vitamin on a regular basis as it aids the build-up of new hair and skin cells. Read on to find out how exactly do the various vitamins help your hair: 1.Vitamin A: This vitamin controls the production of retinoic acid in your hair follicle. It is not only helpful for skin care but stimulates hair growth. It is immensely fruitful in moisturizing your hair and keeping it healthy. Vitamin A is usually found in sweet potatoes, carrots, tuna, lettuce, mango, sweet red peppers, green leafy vegetables and spinach. 2.Vitamin B: Variants of this, such as B12, aid in hair growth by managing stress. Vitamin B is found in fruits such as oranges and papayas, and beans. 3.Vitamin C: This vitamin helps you absorb iron from the food you eat which is an absolute essential for hair growth. It also boosts the synthesis of collagen that is required to repair the damage and sustain the structure of your hair. Fruits such as papayas, guavas, lemons, sweet lime, orange, kiwi, vegetables such as broccoli, yellow bell peppers and leafy vegetables are replete with Vitamin C. 4.Vitamin D: This vitamin rejuvenates the hair cells in order to form new shafts of hair. Vitamin D is found in dairy products, mushrooms, soy milk, tofu, and cheese. Vitamin D is also naturally made by your body when you expose your skin to the sun, and is called the sun-shine vitamin. 5.Vitamin E: This aids in stimulating capillaries and enhancing blood circulation on the scalp. This additionally contributes to hair growth due to its high anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidant content. Certain foods loaded with Vitamin E are pumpkin, broccoli, olive oil, sunflower seeds, almonds, avocado, tofu and spinach. 6.Vitamin B5: It is also known as Panthenol, is a vital ingredient that is used in medicines to regulate hair fall. Foods enriched with Vitamin B5 are sweet potatoes, sunflower seeds, avocados, cheese and mushrooms. Other Ways to Help Hair- We have gone over the vitamins that may be important for the health of your hair. But lifestyle changes can help just as much. Try: 1.Cutting back on gels, blow-drying, and brushing hair when wet 2.Lowering your stress by exercising at least 30 minutes a day 3.Drinking enough water, 6-8 glasses a day Being mindful of the foods and drinks you consume, the products you use, and the way you manage stress, can all help improve the well-being of your hair. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult me.

I have black spots and pimple on my face nd on my back how can I reduce it and remove it.

BHMS
Homeopath,
I have black spots and pimple on my face nd on my back how can I reduce it and remove it.
Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you wherever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifoium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Protein is important to strengthen hair and promote growth. The recommended daily amount is about two to three 3-ounce servings of meat or a combination of four to five servings of dairy and beans. nuts and seeds, eggs, and fish in their diets. All are important sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower inflammation and create a healthier scalp. eat a variety of foods every day. two to four fruits, and an assortment of grains and legumes and lean meat products.

Dear lybrate-user You should note that pimples should be given at most care as if not properly treated they leave life long scars which are difficult to remove and would require lengthy treatments. Regarding your problem you may note that treatment of acne should include both external application and internal remedy specific to your individual constitution. The few obvious causes for acne are: Increased production of the sex hormones. Androgen stimulates increased sebum production. An aerobic proliferation within the follicles. Intense acute inflammatory response. Continuous touching and squeezing. Hot and humid weather. Use of wrong cosmetics. A comprehensive judicious program is required to get rid of acne and its scars. Treatment for Acne should aim at: Reducing the bacterial population of hair follicle. Encouraging the shedding of the follicular horny plugs to free obstruction. Reducing the rate of sebum production either by acting on the sebaceous glands or indirectly by inhibiting the effect of androgen on sebaceous glands. Usage of anti-inflammatory agents to reduce the effect of acne inflammation on the skin. Also keep in mind that any malady expressed outside on your skin is a result of some internal derangement you might be facing. You require a holistic treatment which has no side effects to get a complete and permanent cure. You can view my T.V Programs on youtube related to Acne/ Pimples. Trust this serves your introductory purpose. Please feel free to contact me.

I am 27 old mujhe baldness ho Raha kya transplant ek option hai aur aur iske koi side effect to nahi hai.

I am 27 old mujhe baldness ho Raha kya transplant ek option hai aur aur iske koi side effect to nahi hai.
If the hair recession has only just begun, then there may be a few things you can do to not only stop the hair loss, but even reverse it. Step 1: Find the Cause of Your Hair Loss As there are a few different causes of early stage, it’s first vital that you discover the exact cause so you can treat the loss accordingly. This may be difficult – especially if you believe that a number of factors have played a role.  Step 2: Use Natural Methods to Stop the Hair Loss While hair regrowth is your ultimate goal, you’ll first need to put an end to the progressing loss. This will involve the use of a few different natural methods; let’s take a look! Cleanse and Rejuvenate the Scalp Whether due to DHT sensitivity, traction, or stress, it never hurts to cleanse your scalp and provide it with the nutrients it needs for a healthy environment. Stimulate the Hair Follicles A main factor of hair loss is hair miniaturization. This commonly occurs in MPB, but can also take place due to trauma or other hair loss causes. To treat the miniaturization, then, stimulation of the hair follicles is a must. The easiest way to stimulate the follicles is through scalp massage. This will increase blood flow to the scalp, which delivers necessary oxygen and nutrients while also removing harmful waste. However, a deeper and more effective option is available. Microneedling is a treatment method that involves the use of tiny needles. These needles are rolled over the scalp (with the help of a dermaroller), and cause superficial wounds. As the wounds heal, they go through a three step process (inflammation, proliferation, and maturation) that can actually stimulate hair growth at FIVE times the normal rate! As discussed previously, DHT sensitivity is the culprit in MPB. With this in mind, you can treat the source of MPB by reducing the DHT that’s produced, and removing it from your scalp. The salicylic acid shampoo above will provide you with a great start, but that’s only the beginning. To really get to the source, you’ll need to stop 5-alpha-reductase and DHT in their tracks. An effective way to do this is to alter your diet. There are a few ways to go about doing this. Initially, you can start by adding in foods that inhibit 5-alpha-reductase and DHT. This will help to lower levels of DHT within the body, and can lead to less hair loss. However, if you’d like to trigger regrowth, you’ll need to incorporate alkaline foods.

Deep condition every alternate week. Use a deep conditioner that contains protein at least twice a month to strengthen hair. Hot oil treatment with olive oil to intensely moisten the hair follicles is also very effective to stop hair fall.

You can also put some fenugreek powder in the oil, heat the oil a bit and apply it on scalp for hair fall, whitening and dandruff. 3. Apply hair packs like egg with yogurt. 4. Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin c. 5. Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soya bean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6. Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Hirsutism (Excess Facial Hair): How Safe Is Laser Surgery?

MD - Skin,VD & Lepxsy, MBBS
Dermatologist, Rewari
Hirsutism (Excess Facial Hair): How Safe Is Laser Surgery?

Excessive hair growth on a woman's face or unwanted areas is also known as Hirsutism. This differs from the usual fine 'peach fuzz' that covers the rest of the body. Hirsutism has a number of causes. Some of the most common reasons for this condition are:

  1. Hormones: Hirsutism is also linked to an abnormally high level of male hormones like androgens in the body. This is usually seen in cases where women suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Cushing's syndrome or tumors in the adrenal gland.
  2. Medication: A shift in hormone levels is also a common side effect of many types of medication. This is typically seen in drugs that include hormones, such as anabolic steroids, drugs that spur hair growth and drugs that help with endometriosis. Facial hirsutism can be treated in a number of ways.
  3. Genes: Hirsutism often runs in families. Thus, if your mother or grandmother suffered from this skin condition, chances are that you may suffer from the same. This is most commonly seen in people from the Mediterranean region and South East Asia.

Is Laser Surgery is safe?
First of all, laser hair removal is precise. The laser only targets the pigmented area of the skin on your face, such as the hair follicle. This is why only the hair follicles are burned and not the skin surrounding the area, making it a safe procedure.

  1. Laser hair removal is most effective on the hair in the early part of the hair growing stage. A concentrated beam of light is aimed at the hair follicle. The laser then converts its energy into heat and heats up the hair follicle, preventing it from growing any further.
  2. Laser hair removal removes unwanted hair from your face at the speed of light. The laser is designed to treat several hairs in a large surface area, all at the same time. There is no downtime after the service and no sticky residue left behind.
