Start taking Folic acid tablets daily after breakfast. Best time to have intercourse to conceive is mid cycle that is; from 9 days after periods for another 7-9 days if you have a regular 28-30 day cycle

I have post void urine 350 ml. I have undergone t you r p 6 years. Back. It takes 10 seconds to start urine. I am 76 years old. recent ultra sound shows the prostate grown inside bladder also. The bladder wall is thick. Can you suggest medicine. Can the bladder improve. Thank you. Shyamsundar bangalore.

Sir/ mam, myself 29 years old male, quiet fit n healthy though I drink (twice in a week with room temperature water) n smoke (twice in a day. Since last 3-4 months I have got continuous cold (and few times cough too) whch ws nt earlier. S I use to catch cold or fewer n cough bt tht ws lke a normal thng whch evry1 get. Bt this time though cough is nt regular bt cold seems to have dried little n my voice sounds odd while I talk due to that constant cold. I would b glad is you cud suggest some home made measures or ayurvedic way to come back to normalcy n lke I ws before. Thnx in advance.

Hello lybrate-user, please try to apply steam to face. Try drinking a decotion made by tulasi leaves, dried ginger, dried pepper. In a glass of water put all the above and boil it, till it reduce to half glass. And drink that hot hot. Can prepare and have it many times as you want. Thank you.

I am 27 years old male. I left smoking 2.5 years back from now after consultation with doctor (suggested as it is leukoplakia). I had a single white patch in my mouth near the lips at left side, that white patch gone but on other side other patch came and turned into light black (over all duration 2.5 years). Vertigo is related either to cervical vertebra problems, internal ear problems or least common cause is brain diseases. Again the vertigo r classified into central and peripheral. The duration, direction and time of vertigo classify the vertigo into different types. The most common cause of vertigo is bppv, which is because of some chemical imbalance in ear. Don't do any active neck exercises, don't use high pillow and consult ent surgeon for further needful.

Health Tips for Gymming

Proper diet and nutrition is very important specially when you are working out. Without proper diet you will not gain muscles and all your exercise will ends in cramps and lean body.

I am giving you a schedule which if followed can be very benificial for new gym goers.whcih are as follows:

Breakfast

7:30 a.m.

1 cup plain cooked oatmeal, 4 large whole eggs, large sliced banana, 1-3 g of HMB (Beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate -- is a naturally produced substance in humans that is used as dietary supplement and as an ingredient in some medical food products)

Mid morning Snack

10:00 a.m.

3-4 slices turkey breast, 2-3 slices whole bread, mustard, lettuce, 2 low fat cheese, A fruit

Lunch

1:00 p.m.

2 cups pasta, 1 cup broccoli, 6 oz. lean ground beef

Midday Snack

3:00 p.m.

2 slices whole wheat bread, ½ avocado, ½ can albacore tuna

Pre- workout

5:00 p.m.

2 slices whole wheat bread, 20 g protein shake (whey or whey/casein) with 3-5 g creatine,  1-3 g HMB, 3-5 g creatine

Post- workout

5:30 p.m.

20-40 g of protein shake(whey or whey/casein) with 3-5 g of creatine, 32 oz. sports drink, 1-3 g HMB, 3-5 g creatine

Dinner

7:30 p.m.

8 oz. chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli, baked sweet potato(large)

Bedtime

10:30 p.m.

1 cup low fat cottage cheese, 2-3 tbsp. peanut butter, 1-3 g HMB

Also note the following -- In case you are not gymming, cut out the calories mentioned here as you probably will never burn them off.

  • Drink a full glass each of water after waking up in the morning, about 15 minutes before each meal, and before and after workouts. DO NOT drink water DURING meals. Try to drink more than 1.5 litres of water every day.
  • Break up your meals into five or more mini meals. For those wanting to shed some pounds, limit each meal to 300 calories for women and 400 calories for men. Breakfast within 30 min after waking up. Plan your meals in such a way that your routine life is not compromised, you stay fresh and energetic throughout the day and you don’t rush for fast food.
  • The key is to increase the intake of protein and complex carbohydrates without increasing fat. Forget the pastries, cakes, burgers, pizza and fries. For an intense workout with weights, try a high protein diet. Whey powder, meat, chicken, eggs, skimmed toned milk, cheese, yogurt, soy milk are rich in protein. These help build muscle mass. Starch rich foods like bread, rice, chapattis, parathas etc. are best before exercise. Post workout, it is best to stick to fruit juices, smoothies and other simple sugar containing food like fruits, bananas etc. All carbohydrates are converted to glucose in the body before any energy can be derived from them. Save your body some effort by eliminating this tiresome process after a grueling gym routine.
  • Write down in your diary any new tips you learnt, any new exercises that you tried and whatever resolutions you want to make for your fitness routine. Track what you eat and the amount of calories it is likely to contain. Put it on paper. This will help you to burn off what you took in.

Don't be panic its fine. Normal bp is 120\80. Increase little bit of salt, pickles n papad while eating your lunch n dinner. Take lime juice instead of tea n coffee.

U may be having caries in one of your tooth on left side of the upper jaw. If you have pain also during lying down or sleeping means the tooth needs immediate attention. Consult a dentist in person.
