Its is recommended to follow a healthy lifestyle as fat loss is a gradual process. There is no quick fix approach. Following a healthy diet which has optimal amounts of first-class proteins (dairy products, eggs, chicken etc) reduced carbohydrates (white rice, poha etc) & healthy fats (almonds. Walnuts etc) along with a structured exercise program that is balanced with weight training and cardio will surely help. Besides these factors, we need to take into account that there are no hormonal imbalances that can impede your rate of fat loss. Stay consistent & patient in order to achieve your weight loss goals. Kindly contact us to get customised diet & workout plan.

Hi lybrate-user. If it since 2 weeks. Then there has to be a reason. Like dental caries or something like that. Better consult a dentist and get checked. You may consult for homoeopathic treatment if you like.

Toothache - Homeopathic Remedies For It!

Toothache - Homeopathic Remedies For It!

Odontalgia or severe toothache is characterized by extreme pain or inflammation of the tooth and its surrounding areas. The excruciating pain that you might experience may stem as a result of gum infection, tooth decay, infection of the dental pulp, abscess and due to certain other reasons like extraction or filling of the teeth. Another key reason for extreme toothache is the fact that a number of heart problems, such as myocardial infarction and angina tend to affect your dental health negatively.

While some toothaches might occur sporadically, they might pose a danger against your overall well-being in the long run, if the condition is left untreated. Homeopathy can serve as the perfect antidote to your toothache problems and its effects are noted to be significantly higher when it comes down to the question of long-term consumption. Here is a list of homeopathic medications that might prove to be a pain alleviator for your dental complications:

  1. Hepar Sulph and Silicea: Root abscess responds positively, to both Hepar Sulph and Silicea. For fever accompanied with occasional chills due to severe toothache, Hepar Sulph is considered to be the perfect remedy and tends to significantly decrease the level of swelling and pain. On the other hand, if your face swells and there is an incidence of gum inflammation, Silicea must be used to numb the effects of root abscess.
  2. Plantago: Plantago is noted to be the most commonly prescribed medicine for toothaches and for treating sensitivity. The pain extending to the ears from the teeth receives maximum relief due to the effects of Plantago. It might have to be taken internally or applied externally depending on the severity of the toothache and its accompanying conditions.
  3. Staphysagria: Sensitivity is best taken care of by Staphysagria and resolves the problem of worsening of toothache, when any drink or food is consumed. Bleeding gums and excess salivation is also another aspect that is looked after by Staphysagria.
  4. Arnica: Tooth extraction and filling may often lead to the consequence of nerve-wrecking pain in the gums and the affected area. For this, Arnica is prescribed to assuage the nerve pain and must be taken in along with Hypericum, another homeopathy medicine, for best results.
  5. Merc Sol: Problems of halitosis and excessive salivation that tend to occur simultaneously with toothaches can be solved by a dosage of Merc Sol. Bleeding gums, looseness of teeth and sensitivity are all taken care of by the same medication.
  6. Hecla Lava: For jaw swells along with toothache, you must always opt for Hecla Lava. The effect is instantaneous and relieves both swelling and pain.
  7. Chamomilla: Chamomilla serves as the best remedial homeopathic medicine for easing heat sensitivity that is likely to worsen the existing toothache. Drinks and food, either hot or cold, can then be consumed easily because of the numbing effect of this medicine.

Use natural sugar to exfoliate dark dead skin on lips. Sugar helps to exfoliate skin in the process removing dead cells that are naturally dark. Add two tablespoon of granulated sugar to water and make a thick paste. Use this to scrub your lips gently, automatically the dead skin is removed instantly or immediately OR you can Mix some water with the baking soda to form a paste. Apply this paste on your lips and scrub in a gentle circular motion with a toothbrush or your fingertip. Scrub for two to three minutes. Rinse thoroughly, pat dry, and apply a lip balm or some olive oil.

I am 47 and have high bp since 10 years. Weight is 80 kg height 5' 5.5" Had been taking losar and since 2 years have been taking Metosartan 50 once a day. Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. There is no mention of either BP readings or blood glucose readings & HbA1c%, hence, I have no way to know whether you are in control or not. Secondly with a BMI of 28.98 kgs/M 2 you are close to be in grade 1 obesity. Your ideal weight should be around 65 kgs, which means there is an extra 15 kg load. Doing weekly three times walking on treadmill (distance & time not mentioned) is too insufficient. Plus if one has confirmed diabetes & high BP then, there is always a need for taking appropriate modern medications. Metformin is in use for over 60 years, and is found to be one of the safest drugs. Similarly majority of antihypertensive drugs are very safe. As regards "Ayurvedic" drugs, safety is a big question mark as some of those medications contain heavy metals, which can lead to serious side effects. Well choice is yours, in terms of selecting the type of therapy. To be in good control means fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8 and BP should be 120 to 130/ 70 to 80 mm Hg. Thanks.

Dear sir or madam I am 26 year old male. I am suffering from. Anal problem. 2 months back the blood falling from anus while going motion. And I took treatment for that now days it is cleared no blood falling. My question is, in my anal some pain is there while sat on chairs. And also swelling is there while I was in motion. I consult a doctor a week a back, a doctor told some problem is there like fissure. What treatment should I take?. Which types of food should I take? What about non veg. Please give me answer. How avoid these type of disease by foods. Thanks by Sukesh.

MBBS, MS - General Surgery

Dear, I can understand your problem very well, it appears you have not consulted a surgeon, you might have seen a general practitioner hence you do not have a diagnosis. Blood in stool is common in piles and also in anal fissure, there is a difference in presentation in both above condition, if it is piles you have bright red color blood prior to passing stool, if it is a fissure then blood is mixed with stool or you may have blood after you pass stool, you need to verify it yourself. At times you may have both conditions simultaneously, therefore a detailed physical examination is necessary by a qualified and experienced surgeon, if it a fissure you will not have a swelling while passing stool. You may be having dragging sort of pain in your anal area which can be due to above condition. Regarding diet: my suggestion is take plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits, plenty of water, avoid breads, oil fried items i. E. Low residue diets. I would prefer you avoid non vegetarian foods but if in case you cannot avoid try to add vegetables to the meats and consume.
