I am 25 years old woman. From last year February I stopped using cerazette tablet. Got periods regularly but not being pregnant as we are planning for second baby. Does the tablet effecting me for second pregnancy. please help me.

Homeopath, Secunderabad
It may not be the reason. You can wait for some time. Some times its quite natural that inspite of all the reports being normal one is not able to conceive. Give your body some time and follow a healthy life-style. Go for regular health check-up on regular basis. You may take the help of Homeopathy in future if needed.

I am 24 years old now. I have done C-Section and it has been seven years now wanna know it will not create any problem in future na, will I have normal delivery if I try now.

Gynaecologist, Delhi
Yes ,there is always a chance of vaginal delivery after one C- section. We call it trial of labour. But if C section has been done bcz one has narrow passage (contracted pelvis) or any indication that can occur again, then you can have it again. So it is not necessary that once c section, next also c section.

Hi I'm 35 years old and had sex last week my period was due today but I haven't got it . I took the test yesterday and today but it's showing negative . Am I pregnant ?

Fellowship in Infertility, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Delayed periods may be due to multiple hormonal and non hormonal causes even anxiety. Wait for menses for few days, if no menses get an ultrasound done and consult a gynae doctor to prescribe you medications for withdrawal.

I will be going for family planning soon. Please suggest and advice me the prenatal food supplement or any medicines.

Better than any supplement or medicine, go for body detox by vaman & virechan at some panchakarma centre near you before panning family. This will ensure trouble free pregnancy & healthy child. During pregnancy, have masanumasik tablets for 9 months. The child will be intelligent & healthy.

I am a male and had sex with a woman. While having it my inner thigh was cut by her very sharp leg nails and it was bleeding. Do I need to take PEP?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
NO. PEP is needed when there is unprotected sexual contact or contact of infected body fluids with other persons open wounds, or mucosa. If there has been NO contact of her blood, or her vaginal fluids with the wound, there is nothing to worry If there has been such contact, take PEP.

it is useful to protect the pregnancy, and specially indicated if you have had a previous spontaneous early abortion or spotting/ pain in the current pregnancy. It is for safety.

Sir. 3 mnth pehle mere left ovary me cyst tha jis wajh se mera opration karke left ovary remove kr diya gya Main unmarried hun Kya is wajh se main pregnent nahi ho sakti.

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
IVF Specialist, Delhi
Women have got two ovaries. While removal of one of them certainly can affect the overall potential (your stock of eggs in the body is likely reduced to half now), the real impact (if any) on your fertility will likely depend on many other factors. As you may know it requires just one egg for fertilization and if your other ovary is healthy and continues to work properly and rest everything is normal (structurally and functionally), you should be fine. The good thing is that you are young and have age on your side. I will suggest you to plan a family sooner rather than later. In the worst case, you do have the option of fertility preservation these days, wherein you could actually get your eggs frozen and stored outside of your body for use at a later, more opportune time. My menstrual has stopped 3 years back, now I feel to have a baby so will I get pregnancy at this stage?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, FCPS, DGO, Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP)
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
It is not straight easy normal way of having pregnancy. You need special assistance to have pregnancy. Someone's egg will require to be fertilized by your husband's sperm in laboraratory and with specia treatment given to you to prepare uterus pregnancy can be lodged. Not very high chance of success but not ver low also.

Last six month for my marriage but we do sex daily but my wife not get pregnant when we do sex my sperm not enter in .

Gynaecologist, Belgaum
When you are trying for pregnancy, you have to keep contact from d10-d16 on alternate days if she has regular cycles. Try like this for 3 months at least. If she doesn't conceive, then go for infertility evaluation.
