Hello Doctor! My husbands age is 36. His weight is 81 kg. He has cholesterol problem otherwise he is fine no other ailment. He does go for walk daily but his weight does not come down soon. I have started giving him salad before meal. He has reduced on sweet intake and rice intake. We also keep drinking warm water .He drinks warm water with cinnamon powder mix. He does not like taking medicines. Can I give him karela juice to reduce weight. We like applying little ghee on roti while lunch and dinner is that ok. What are the other diet we can give to reduce cholesterol naturally.

It is due to excessive sun exposure. Mix required amounts of gram flour, lemon juice and curd or yogurt. Apply this paste on tan affected area of forehead and face. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it with water. This is an exclusive face pack prepared at home to remove tan from your skin in a very easy and effective way. A mixture of egg white, milk cream and honey works excellent against skin tanning. Mix tomato juice with honey or yogurt and apply it daily on skin to remove tanning.

My friend is taking some allergic tablet from past ten years tablet name is LORINOL 10 mg. I told her to stop the tablet but she is not willing to stop. If is stops taking that tablet her skin color turns into reddish and with rashes.

Ur friend is right.she cannot stop it.there is no problem with that for her.She definitely is allergic.allergy is not a one time affair,it's a lifelong affair.she vil need medications regularly.this is because her body doesn't have the ability to counter a reaction on its own but medicines help normalise this level.so let her keep at it and don't give up on medicines.

Please use warm saline water to wash it at least twice daily. Also take belladonna 30 - thrice daily for next 3 days 6 pills.

Many reasons are for increasing weight like hereditary, life style factors, eating habits, diabetes, odema, bone danisty. You can reduce weight by proper exercise and diet. Like suriya namaskaar, vraje aasan after meal, running, swimming, roping. Plenty of water intake, green tea, cocont water and salad. Low carbohydrate and moderate amount of protein.

Hi, Here are some tips for fairer and flawless skin: -Soak some almonds in water overnight, remove their skin in the morning and grind them. Add a teaspoon of gram fluor, one teaspoon of milk and 4 drops of lime juice. Make a paste, mix it well and apply it on your face. Regular massage gives you long lasting clear and fair skin. -Turmeric is good ingredient for skin. Make a face pack with mixture of turmeric and milk. Apply this and wash off after an hour with cold water for glowing skin. Lemon juice and glycerin work nicely for dry skin whereas fuller’s earth and turmeric are used for oily skin. -Mix papaya and honey and mash it. Apply and wash after 20 minutes. Use this face pack every other day for a naturally spotless fair skin. This pack also eliminates the sun tanning which causes patchiness on the skin and the dark spots or the pimple marks which will refrain the skin from looking spotless. -Take one tomato, grate it well and mix it with 3-4 drops of lime juice. Apply it on your face wait for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat it daily and feel the change on your face. -A mixture of egg white, milk cream and honey works excellent against skin tanning. Mix tomato juice with honey or yogurt and apply it daily on skin to remove tanning. -Make dilute paste of mint leaves and almond seeds with warm water. Wash your face and neck with this water and wash again with clean warm water. You can add mint leaves in regular bathing water to get glow and freshness to your skin. -Mix some tomato juice with some yoghurt and mix it well. Apply on the face as a pack and wash after 30 minutes. Try this every other day for better results. Use Schwabe's Skin Care soap, apply Calendula & Aloe Vera cream immediately after bathing, apply Bakson's Suncare sunscreen 20-30 min. Before going out under the sunlight. At night, use Bakson's Papaya Pack and after washing face apply it's Fairness cream. Above all, regular exercise (yoga, gymnastic, aerobics etc), intake of healthy nutritious food, keeping a positive attitude, avoiding stress/ anger/ anxiety/ fear/ jealousy/ aggressive nature as much as possible as it affects skin, its colour and glow!

The important sign in anxiety attack is the feeling that you cannot handle fear and you are using an extreme reaction to the fear. You cannot control the attack but you can do two things: you can change your perception of the fearful stimulus and you can change your response to the fear. The first one is the best and will preempt the need for the second. If you are already far gone into the reaction mode, then you need both responses to counter the attack. The way we see things in life (like half empty or half full glass) is very dependent on our attitude. Attitude may have developed over many years but fortunately can change in a matter of sustained choices made and acted up on now. Accordingly you choose to see things as either threatening or as an opportunity. The opportunist will be positive and work with the situation to make good out of it. The individual who sees it as threatening, will, out of fear, try to avoid/run away from the situation or react in a panic. Yes, self-belief does impact it too, but you can see that prior to that, perception will tarnish the belief system too. Here, you can see that all the resolution lies in just changing your perception/attitude, even if it is against odds. Changing your response, despite the perception, is building up of your reserves and resources to handle any contingency that life throws up at you. And life throws up situations quite regularly and heavily. For this you need to develop a fit mind and body: The former, by meditation and mind exercises; and the later, by exercises and proper diet. Included in the development of the mind is the handling of emotions, in your case fear. These changes will give you a handle on life and your perceptions and responses.

As your doctor says,hairfall don't spread but fungal infections can spread which causes hairfall-reduce your fungal infections(dandruffs)if you have any-take protein rich diet-reduce stress-stop smoking n alcohol if you do any of these.Oiling with good herbal oil n shampoo atleast thrice a week will help you out

I am 43 yeas old and from last six months, sometimes I feel that my heart is beating very fast and noise of the same is heard by me, mainly at nights. After dinner I feel heaviness sometimes, Whereas my stress echo was normal, ECG was ok. Still I have been suggested to undergo ANGIOGRAPHY. KINDLY ADVICE.

It is likely that there is a non-cardiac cause for this. Angiography may be done to rule out even a remote possibility of heart disease, and you can go ahead with it. If it is normal, then a psychiatrist consultation will be needed. In the meantime, get a thyroid profile and complete hemogram done (if not already done). If they are okay and angiography is normal, and you are cleared by the cardiologist, anti-anxiety medicines such as paroxetine or escitalopram or propranolol may prove very useful to you. These are not sleeping pills and will not make you drowsy. Take care!

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects

In ayurveda, Hypertension is referred to as Rakta Capa Vriddhi and it sees the vitiation of vata and pitta doshas as the main cause. Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days. Take sarpgandha vati twice a day. Yogendra ras. Akik bhasm works very good in case of hypertension. Avoid salty diet. Oily food. Lower your stress. Do pranayama early morning.

Hair hair fall could b significant or just physiological without any systemic involvement. Firstly, don't stress over it. Meditate. Practice yoga. Relax yourself. Stress vil increase your hairfall. Drink two litres of water. Eat plenty of pulses, meat, fish and milk. Avoid hair cosmetics. Wash hair twice or thrice a week. Shampoo should be done to wash dirt, dust and grime and not for anything else. Don't use dyes, bleaches or straighteners. Massage scalp to improve circulation. After a bath, don't blow dry your hair instead naturally dry hair. If any scalp infection, get it treated. Any allergy should be taken care of use minokem lotion.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.
