hey... your struggle seem to be of gastritis. try to drink two glass of water ealy morning before you wash your mouth. and two glasses of water before half an hour for every meal. make sure your stool is clear and regular. eat more leafy vegetables with the meals. may God bless you.

Dear ur ideal weight is 48- 58 kg. U r obese so to decrease ur weight u have to maintain diet and have to do daily work out. Only exercise or Only diet control will not help. Excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, It can put a person at risk of thyroid disease, diabetes , kidney problems, arthritis etc... Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach daily. 3. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 5 min per asana. 6. Do brisk walk early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. I am using crisanta -LS from 3rd April to 27tj Apr, my periods started from 30th Apr, but bleeding not happening, some amount of red discharge happened, pls advice if this is side effect n what yo do, I am recently married.

Diet is 80% no amount of exercise will help if you do not balance your diet. And for toning your lower body weight training with low weights and fast counts will help a lot. Running and cross trainer cardio will be very effective. And you can even try squats and lunges.

If you quit at around age 50, you reduce the risk of dying prematurely by 50% compared with those who continue to smoke. Not only that but you’ll experience immediate health benefits from being a nonsmoker – as quickly as 20 minutes after you quit. What Happens When You Quit Immediately after quitting smoking, heart rate and blood pressure, which is abnormally high while smoking, begin to return to normal. Within a few hours, the level of carbon monoxide, which reduces the blood’s ability to carry oxygen, begins to decline. Within a few weeks, circulation improves, you don’t produce as much phlegm, and you don’t cough or wheeze as often. The workload on the heart is decreased and cardiac function is improved. Nerve endings in the mouth and nose begin to regenerate, improving taste and smell. Medications may work better, enabling some to be taken in decreased doses. If you’re taking birth control pills, quitting smoking will decrease your chance of heart attack and stroke due to clotting. You’ll have decreased risk for impotence and infertility. If you’re pregnant, you’ll protect your unborn child from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and low birth weight. Years will be added to your life: people who quit smoking, regardless of their age, are less likely than those who continue to smoke to die from smoking-related illness.

Hello doctor, I am karshanan chaudhari. There is 7 mm stone in left ureter and as per Dr. S prescription I am taking potrate Mb6 syrup since 2 month and if I mis a dos once then pain will start. My exam is on 4th February. So my question is -Is it advisable to take potrate MB6 for further 2 month?

When it comes to athletes and sportsmen, merely having a balanced meal is not enough. Athletes burn much more energy than an average person and hence need to consume additional calories. Getting the right nutrition can make a big difference to an athlete’s performance. To calculate the required calorie consumption, one must take into account the individual’s height, weight, gender and level of physical activity. An athlete must pay special attention to three categories of foods; carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates are the most important fuel source for sportsmen. When the body ingests carbohydrates, the sugar and starch in it is converted to glucose and stored as glycogen. If the body does not have enough glycogen while working out, it will begin to burn fats and proteins to get its energy. This can make your performance levels drop. Breads, cereals, rice, high fibre fruits and vegetables and pasta are some food items that are rich sources of carbohydrates.

Along with eating the right food, it is also important to eat at the right time. On a normal day, an athlete should consume 1-4grams of carbohydrates per kilo of body weight 1-4 hours before exercising to give the body the necessary energy for your workout. However, if your exercise lasts for more than an hour, you should eat additional carbohydrates during the session. Your body also needs carbohydrates within half an hour of completing an activity to help the muscles recover.

Proteins: Proteins help build muscles and thus are essential for body builders and endurance athletes. It should account for 12-15% of your daily calorie intake. However, the actual amount of protein required depends on the athlete’s growth rate, rate of healing and physical activity level. The human body cannot store protein and hence it is not advisable to eat an excessive amount of this nutrient as it will simply be stored as fat. Proteins can be found in many food items including meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, nuts and beans.

Fats: There are two types of fats needed by the human body; saturated fats and unsaturated fats. Combined, they should account for not more than 20-30% of your daily calorie intake. For low to moderate intensity exercises, fats are the primary source of energy but for workouts of a higher intensity, fats become a secondary source of energy to be used only when the body runs out of glycogen. Meat, milk, eggs and cheese are good sources of saturated fats while vegetable oils are rich in unsaturated fats.

Along with eating right, athletes also need to pay special attention to hydrating their bodies. Drinking cool water is the best way to stay hydrated. Water is lost while exercising through sweat and hence must be consumed before, during and after exercising.
