Incorrect eating habits might not only affect your body functioning, but could also have other undesired effects on you. This is why it is important to eat correctly, while keeping track of your daily activities. Listed below are some simple and effective tips to gain weight. Put together a schedule Like most other things, it is essential to put together a detailed and achievable schedule that will help you gain the numbers you want. For this you will need to measure the different parts of your body like thighs, waist, hips, stomach etc. So that you can keep track of your progress. Along with keeping a track of your measurements, it is also necessary to keep track of the foods you consume and the kind of exercise that you might have to indulge in to help pile on the pounds. I understand your problem, try these methods - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. DEAR Lybrate USER. A) apply paste of fresh lemon juice and fine powder of flax seeds on face with gentle massage, two times in a day. B) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water, at night before sleep. C) take 10 gm of flax seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals…D) take 30 ml of fresh lemon juice along with 30 ml of honey and 30 ml of water, early in the morning, on empty stomach. Upper Motor Neurons (UMN) motoneurons that originate in the cerebral cortex (motor strip), terminating in the brainstem or spinal cord UMNs in the pyramidal tract directly synapse with LMNs UMNs in the extrapyramidal tract synapse with neurons in the red nucleus or the reticular formation UMNs that provide contralateral innervation to LMNs are on the opposite side of the brain as the muscle, UMNs that provide bilateral innervation to LMNs "talk" to muscles on both sides of the body UMNs course through the corona radiata, internal capsule, cerebral peduncle, and finally synapse in the midbrain/pons/medulla/spinal cord Lower Motor Neurons (LMN) motoneurons that originate in the brainstem (cranial nerves) or spinal cord (spinal nerves), terminating at the neuromuscular junction (muscles) all LMNs innervate ipsilateral muscles (the muscle and the LMN that innervates it are always on the same side) LMNs receive input from upper motor neurons from the opposite side of the brain (contralateral UMN innervation) or from both sides of the brain (bilateral UMN innervation) Cranial Nerves with bilateral UMN innervation: V, VII (upper face), IX, X, XI Cranial Nerves with primarily contralateral UMN innervation: VII (lower face), XII LMN Symptoms include pharyngeal muscle weakness (involved with swallowing), weak jaw and facial muscles, progressive loss of speech, and tongue muscle atrophy. Limb weakness with both lower and upper motor neuron signs is almost always evident but less prominent. UMN- Primary lateral sclerosis is a disease of the upper motor neurons, while progressive muscular atrophy affects only lower motor neurons in the spinal cord. In progressive bulbar palsy, the lowest motor neurons of the brain stem are most affected, causing slurred speech and difficulty chewing and swallowing.
