Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning or surgical removal procedures. Advise deep cleaning, polishing, whitening (bleaching) procedures, artificial enamel filling or capping. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use Snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply SNOWDENT paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min .Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results. Cause of discoloration – Smoking, coffee, tea, drugs, aging, staining food (wine, blueberry, etc) genetics.

You will not feel any pain during the procedure. For pain doctors give you anesthesia. Rct is the best option to restore your natural tooth structure.

What to do to take care of teeth which are yellowish n getting holes (cavity) between two teeth?

What to do to take care of teeth which are yellowish n getting holes (cavity) between two teeth?
The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

Night bruxism can b due to various reasons. A few reasons being excessive stress, hyperactive jaw nerves n muscles, phycological disorder, teeth malocclusion. Get your self evaluated by dentist to know the cause of your prob n get treated accordingly. Meanwhile ask your dentist for night guards which'll prevent undue wearing of your teeth leading to sensitivity n other probs.

If the tooth breaks, have the tooth contoured. Fill the crack in. Place a crown on your tooth. If the tooth has been badly damaged and the nerve or pulp is exposed, the dentist may have to perform a root canal to save the tooth. If the tooth has been severely damaged, it may have to be extracted.

Wisdom teeth can erupt anywhere between the age of 17 years and the mid-20s. It is usually accompanied by pain, sensitivity, and discomfort in chewing food. The pain also may radiate to head, neck and ear. For transient relief, you can go for pain killers and any antibacterial mouthwash, to keep the area clean, which may be difficult to clean otherwise with a toothbrush. Permanent treatment usually involves either removal of the gum tissue covering the wisdom tooth (if it is present in your case), or extraction of the tooth. Extraction will not cause you any problem with eating food, and it doesn’t need to be replaced, unlike other teeth. Right now you don't have pain, but you must maintain a good hygiene in that area, and get it cleaned from a dentist if required. In case it pains, you must show it to a dentist, and get appropriate medication.

Try thermoseal ra toothpaste for one month. Rub gently on sensitive area wait for 5 minutes and then rinse. If you cant get relief then you need to go for laminating or veneering. Sometimes enamel layer of teeth get eroded because of bruxism, hard brushing, age, and after an orthodontic treatment. Avoid too much cold food like icecream till the symptoms subsides.

Hello, I have some cavity in my teeth. So I need help. I am really surfing from a bad pain of this cavity. So please help me how I can make my teeth, cavity free. I already tried many paste for this, buy they did not worked. Thanks.

PERIODONTIST, B.D.S.
Dentist, Navi Mumbai
Hi lybrate-user if you have bad pain then first take analgesics. Then take a appointment from dentist for filling of cavities. The tooth causing bad pain will definitely go for root canal treatment. Tooth pastes are preventive measures means it will prevent cavity formation but it won't help you in cavities which are already present in teeth. After your treatment, you can use any fluoride containing tooth paste it will help you in further prevention of cavities.

How to control bleeding in gums? I get bleeding during brushing teeth. Pls suggest.
Hello, bleeding from gums could be because of deposits on your teeth and food lodged in between your teeth. You need to visit the dentist and get a deep scaling and polishing done. Brush twice a day. Maintain proper brushing technique. Rinse after every meal. Floss regularly.
