Mix a tsp each of honey,curd,green tea and pomegranate,apply it on face for ten minutes and wash off without soap.Soaps vil dry out your skin, so they r an absolute no. No vigorous rubbing of skin on face or body. Before bath, oil body with any oil be it coconut, olive. Use a soap free body wash or a dermatologically tested medical soap. After bath, pat dry within three minutes and apply moisturiser. Include dry fruits like almond, walnuts, figs, groundnuts. Have plenty of salmon, mackerel and sardine. Drink two litres of water. Have roasted flaxseeds. Avoid alcohol and aerated drinks or they vil dehydrate u more.

To lower down body heat- * drink 10 ml gulab jal twice a day with a glass of water. * do not eat non veg (chicken, eggs), peanuts (moong fali), dry fruits especially kashew (kaju). * drink upto 2-3 liters of water everyday. * practice sheetali pranayan in the morning for 5-8 minutes.

I am 71 years of age, of course, with sound physique. However, I have some respiratory problem for some time now. I feel like taking deep breath. This makes me feel uncomfortable and uneasy. Recently PFT taken. It showed slight/mild airway problem for which taken treatment for a fortnight. ECG, ECHO and other pathological test reports such as blood test, urine test etc are normal. If you are running fever, feeling of not well, better to take /some antibiotic for which you have to approach a qualified practioner, if you have'nt got above symptoms, improve your resistance by taking yoga, specially breathing exercises and some good multivitamins and see for 3 to 4 days, and good diet too will help in recovery.

I am a senior citizen. Foul smell of feet, especially when wearing shoes, is such a big social disaster for me. Cleaning, using foot powder etc don't work. Please advise remedy.

If cleaning and dusting foot powder doesn't show results, it's pitta dominant kaphaj vitiation giving foul smell. Pl continue cleaning as before except that try to wash feet with neem water at least twice and follow wash with kewra extract. Change socks every time you bring feet out. Oral medicines (palliative and kapha pitta naashak) are required orally for few weeks which will have control on smell and sweating of feet.

Dear patient, it's important to have a dual mode of action for such conditions. Aim should be to prevent new pimples from erupting and to dry the older ones simultaneously so that they don't leave any scar and dark spots. Though dark spots can be managed later on, it's very difficult to treat the scars because of acne and the worst part of acne is that most of them leave a scar or pigmentation when heal. Aim is to constrict the glands which is making the secretions on which bacteria find a good medium to multiply. Some patients also have acne on their arms shoulders and back and respond well to systemic treatment along with creams for local application. Lasers also can be done in severe cases and sometimes patient mostly female need some special drugs. So peels along with anti acne medication and oral tablets may help you out. It may take 4-6 weeks to get a proper control over them and according to the results we have to manage the drugs. We try to minimise the use of drugs through latest technology and treatment modalities.

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium tcan worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days.

Excess of sour taste of lemon is surely not good for health. one glass of lemon juice (200 ml), with pinch of salt and sugar with some black pepper is sufficient. for a day.

Overheated body could be due to fever,obesity, hypothyroidism, urinary tract infection,dysfunctional liver function tests eg fatty livet. If ur overweight, reduce your weight. Get r sr TSH level and blood sugar levels done. Drink plenty of liquids. Eat healthy diet esp plenty of fruits and vegetables. Hope this helps u.

Hello,Take Natrum mur 200, 5 drops in the morning, once in a week. Take Arnica Q and Cochleria arom. Q in equal amount, mix with equal amount of coconut oil, and apply this on your scalp, thrice a day. Wash your hair with B&T Anti- Dandruff Shampoo. Revert me after 1 month.

Hello, Lipid profile surely looks disturbed,give her high fiber grain likes barley,oats,jowar,nachni in the diet. Junk and oily food should be completely eliminated. Monitor her blood pressure every week. Exercise or mild walks for an hour everyday is important. Get her ECG examined and restrict her diet on excess salt and sugar.

Dear sir, I always get useless thoughts comes in my minds and I cannot control over it and it gives heavy stress on my brain/skull muscles and due to that sometimes I get headache, paining all around shoulder muscles, generate gases, neck muscles paining, paining and flickering of left eyes muscles, paining behind the left ear muscles and paining that vain which goes from left shoulder to left eye via left brain. Also, once I am continuously working more than one hour by giving full attention in my work then my neck muscles giving full pain. Hi lybrate-user, Your concern in genuine and understandable! Though your concerns are vast and require proper sessions of therapy/ counseling. Here's what you can do to relax your self! Jacob's progressive muscle relaxation Progressive Muscle Relaxation teaches you how to relax your muscles through a two step process. First, you systematically tense particular muscle groups in your body, such as your neck and shoulders. Next, you release the tension and notice how your muscles feel when you relax them. This exercise will help you to lower your overall tension and stress levels, and help you relax when you are feeling anxious. It can also help reduce physical problems such as stomachaches and headaches, as well as improve your sleep STEP ONE: Tension The first step is applying muscle tension to a specific part of the body. This step is essentially the same regardless of which muscle group you are targeting. First, focus on the target muscle group, for example, your left hand. Next, take a slow, deep breath and squeeze the muscles as hard as you can for about 5 seconds. It is important to really feel the tension in the muscles, which may even cause a bit of discomfort or shaking. In this instance, you would be making a tight fist with your left hand. It is easy to accidentally tense other surrounding muscles (for example, the shoulder or arm), so try to ONLY tense the muscles you are targeting. Isolating muscle groups gets easier with practice. Be Careful! Take care not to hurt yourself while tensing your muscles. You Should never feel intense or shooting pain while completing this exercise. Make the muscle tension deliberate, yet gentle. If you have problems with Pulled muscles, broken bones, or any medical issues that would hinder Physical activity, consult your doctor first. STEP TWO: Relaxing the Tense Muscles This step involves quickly relaxing the tensed muscles. After about 5 seconds, let all the tightness flow out of the tensed muscles. Exhale as you do this step. You should feel the muscles become loose and limp, as the tension flows out. It is important to very deliberately focus on and notice the difference between the tension and relaxation. This is the most important part of the whole exercise. Remain in this relaxed state for about 15 seconds, and then move on to the next muscle group. Repeat the tension-relaxation steps. After completing all of the muscle groups, take some time to enjoy the deep state of relaxation. Note: It can take time to learn to relax the body and notice the difference between tension and relaxation. At first, it can feel uncomfortable to be focusing on your body, but this can become quite enjoyable over time. The Different Muscle Groups During this exercise, you will be working with almost all the major muscle groups in your body. To make it easier to remember, start with your feet and systematically move up (or if you prefer, you can do it in the reverse order, from your forehead down to your feet). For example: Foot (curl your toes downward) Lower leg and foot (tighten your calf muscle by pulling toes towards you) Entire leg (squeeze thigh muscles while doing above) (Repeat on other side of body) Hand (clench your fist) Entire right arm (tighten your biceps by drawing your forearm up towards your Shoulder and “make a muscle”, while clenching fist) (Repeat on other side of body) Buttocks (tighten by pulling your buttocks together) Stomach (suck your stomach in) Chest (tighten by taking a deep breath) Neck and shoulders (raise your shoulders up to touch your ears) Mouth (open your mouth wide enough to stretch the hinges of your jaw) Eyes (clench your eyelids tightly shut) Forehead (raise your eyebrows as far as you can). Practice this, but, your situation demands detailed analysis and monitoring of thoughts as well. Many a times, stress and ache are connected to the way of thinking.
