Hello, Although graying of hair is a natural process as you get older but at your age it may be a reason of too much stress, work load, sun exposure, bad eating habits and acidity. REDUCE STRESS: Breathe away stress by doing yoga and breathing exercises and meditation in the morning. Also, do kapalbhati and anulom-vilom pranayama for 15 mins each. Try to be happy throughout the day. Listen to your favourite music to relax your brain and muscles. In general, to avoid an acidic state within your body, avoid foods that contain sugar, artificial sweeteners, gluten, refined grains, or dairy. Here’s a list of alkaline foods you should be eating more of: Fruits Vegetables Greens (spinach, broccoli, cucumbers) Avocado Beans Raw nuts Vegetable juices (carrot, beet) Sprouts (moong dal, chana, soy, alfalfa, broccoli sprouts etc.) Apple Cider Vinegar seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, flax, chia etc.) ALOE VERA: To reduce pitta and preserve the health of your hair, drink Aloe Vera juice (⅓ cup preferably with a pinch of cumin) 3 times a day for about 3 months. You can also scrape out the gel from an aloe plant with a spoon, and apply to your hair and scalp (and face too). CASTOR OIL: Castor oil helps with hair regrowth and hair loss and many other hair and scalp problems. Castor oil has a thick consistency, so you can mix it with coconut oil, olive oil or jojoba oil in a half and half ratio. This will make the mask easier to distribute throughout your hair. Use your fingers or a brush and start applying it onto your scalp with circular motions. This gentle massage increases the blood circulation, rejuvenates the hair, and stimulates hair growth. GUAVA LEAVES: Add guava leaves to hot water and boil it for a few minutes till the time the water turns black. Using cotton, apply the solution on your scalp. Repeat this process two to three times in a week. Hope this resolves your problem.

I am diabetic since 1998. My age is 66 years. Height is 5 F 10 inches Weight 74 Kg; At present I take Glypride 2 mg BD. Galvasmet (50 850) OD, Morning. Roimet 850 mg OD. Poiz 15 mg OD (before dinner). And Winofit OD The BS level 125 Morning and 165 after lunch. The H1AC is 6.9. I feel weakness. Kindly suggested whether it is better to switch on insulin or some other medicines.

When you are having diabetes and under the treatment of diabetes you should consult your treating physician eithervto chsngebthe medicine or doses of medicine because he is the best judge on the ground. The present status of your case including h1ac which is 6.9 not much high. Anyway consult your treating physician.

Hi, I am working as a Manager with a leading software company in Hyderabad. Mam, I have good professional life (I am managing a team of 30 people in Hyd) and reports directly to Executive board members. I am married, and my partner is working as a manager in a software firm and we are blessed with a kid of current age 5 years. The exact problem that I am facing is, unknown fears while my turn comes to present my content/ I need to speak on stage. To be very precise about my problem, I am not fearing of English vocabulary / content / the audience. I am very confident on my vocabulary, stage mannerisms, or my content and body language. But, What exactly I fear is my turn to present. I mean if I am the 5th person to present on stage, My heart beat will be increased from normal to High, when the 3rd person is presenting and it further increases to very high when the 4th person is presenting and it goes rapidly high when they are announcing / calling me on stage for my turn to present. When I go on the stage / when I actually start to speak, I can sense that my heart is beating to its maximum and I can even sense it on my shirt, My mouth gets dried, and I start getting serious shivering, and the other person who is opposite to me, can easily sense that, I am highly nervous / anxious. I am considered as a good orator from my childhood and have actively presented many papers in seminars during my engineering. I can recall that, I had this problem during engineering, but it was very minimum. But from the day 1 of my career, this problem started growing and has become giant in my head now. Kindly note that, I will have these symptoms, only if I have a situation, where I need to present in an order (Waiting for my turn to present). But, if its a regular team meeting, or unplanned presentation an I am supposed to talk, I will be the best presenter. This problem is currently hitting me to the core, I started feeling highly nervous due to which, it started affecting my personal life as well. I was once very cool, But now, I am getting easily frustrated, getting anger easily, shouting on my wife, kid and even to my parents sometimes. I visited a doctor 2 years ago and has suggested me BETACAP TR-40 MG, and prescribed to take the pill a 30 mins to 1 hour before the presentation. I tried this from 2 years and the success rate is 60%. Sometimes, I haven't got any nervousness symptoms after taking the pill. But sometimes, even if I take 2 pills also, I am getting highly nervous. Kindly help me. Thank you.

Dear Lybrate user This seems to be an anxiety and its psychological. It can be treated Psychotherapy specially CBT. This has become a habit which needs to be changed. We can also find the cause of the problem and the anxiety associated with it can be removed easily. Take deep breaths before your presentation (belly breathing). Drink some water also. Try to notice the thoughts which come in your mind when you are waiting for your turn and try to challenge them. Do relaxation exercises or meditation or yoga. If it is only a few days overdue, you should wait for a week, repeat the test. If still negative you can take progesterone for withdrawl bleed after a consultation.

. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for thighs & hips - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. First diet factor has to be considered. You need to restrict salt intake in diet. Also lunch and dinner timings are important. Start applying hair oil coconut oil to your scalp specially with dropper so that oil will come in direct contact with scalp. Need to examine you before suggestiong any ayurveda medicine.

अद्भुत स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्रदान करने की क्षमता के लिए 5,000 वर्षों से लहसुन का मूल्यांकन किया गया है। यह अस्तित्व में सबसे पुराना ज्ञात औषधीय वनस्पति किस्म है। प्रथम विश्व युद्ध में, मेडिकल सर्जनों ने एंटीसेप्टिक के रूप में लहसुन का रस का इस्तेमाल किया था। अत्यंत स्वादिष्ट और सुगंधित, लहसुन का उपयोग दुनिया के लगभग हर व्यंजन में किया जाता है।
नियमित रूप से लहसुन भोजन करना हमारे लिए केवल अच्छा ही नहीं; यह हृदय रोग, स्ट्रोक, कैंसर और संक्रमण सहित दुनिया भर में मौत के चार प्रमुख कारणों को रोकने या कम करने से भी जुड़ा हुआ है। यह फास्फोरस, कैल्शियम और लोहे जैसे खनिजों में समृद्ध है, साथ ही इसमें आयोडीन, सल्फर और क्लोरीन जैसे खनिज भी होते है। इसके अलावा इसमें कई औषधीय गुणों के साथ एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण रासायनिक अवयव एलिसिन है।

2. मधुमेह के लिए:
लहसुन खाने से रक्त शर्करा के स्तर को नियंत्रित करने, एल.डी.एल कोलेस्ट्रॉल कम करने और संचलन को प्रोत्साहित करने में मदद मिल सकती है। यह कुछ मधुमेह जटिलताओं को रोकने में भी मदद कर सकता है। दैनिक आधार पर लहसुन का उपभोग (भोजन या कच्चे में) एलीसिन के एंटीऑक्सीडेंट गुणों के कारण कोलेस्ट्रॉल के स्तर को कम करने में मदद करता है।

3. उच्च रक्तचाप:
एलीसिन रक्त वाहिकाओं को शांत कर सकता है और रक्त को प्रभावित करने वाले नुकसान और दबाव को कम कर सकता है। रक्त में फाइब्रिनॉलिटिक गतिविधि को तोड़कर यह कोलेस्ट्रॉल और प्लेटलेट एकत्रीकरण के स्तर को भी कम कर सकता है। इसके अलावा, लहसुन नाइट्रिक ऑक्साइड सिंथेस और हाइड्रोजन सल्फाइड के उत्पादन को प्रोत्साहित करने की अपनी क्षमता के कारण उच्च रक्तचाप को प्रभावी ढंग से रोक सकता है। लहसुन में प्राकृतिक एंटीस्पास्मोडिक गुण भी होते हैं जो इसे कम धमनियों में होने वाली रक्तस्राव को कम करने की क्षमता देती है और खून का थक्का विकास को रोकती है। 

4. शारीरिक चयापचय का समर्थन करता है:
लहसुन में मौजूद सल्फर, शरीर के चयापचय को समर्थन देने के लिए विटामिन बी कॉम्प्लेक्स के साथ काम करता है, और शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने में मदद करता है। 

5. त्वचा और बालों के लिए:

Basically it looks like your nose gets blocked in night and so you breathe by mouth during nights and as mouth is not meant for beathing primarily it dries. 1st consult an entspecialist to find any cause for nasal obstuction deviated septum/polyp/ allergic rhinitis etc. Drink water in night time keep it near your bed till then.
