Hi We need to actually find out what could be the cause of persistent pain in your case, I need to know whether there was a h/o injury to the affected shoulder, apart from pain do you also have any associated swelling, skin redness, local warmth etc as well? if above symptoms are not there, then in my opinion you can start with intensive physical therapy, anti inflammatory medications, precautions for the shoulder as advised and let us see how you respond in next 7-10 days, otherwise we will have to get a few investigations done for further evaluation.

I am a boy. And I want too know that why my leg muscles are paining so hardly during play a football.
Thee leg musscles pain hard due to muscular cramps. So to overcome this problem try warm up your body for 10-15 miutes before football and drink plenty of water daily nearly 6-8 glass daily water ass dehydration can also be the reason for your muscular cramps. Homoeopathic medicine RUTA 30 ( SBL) Drink2 drop direct on tongue 3 time daily for 5-7 days.

Normally you should be able to return to weightlifting about three to four months after your injury. Once your fracture heals, the joints are typically stiff and the surrounding muscles are weak because they haven't been used during immobilized time. You will need to increase your range of motion and strengthen your hand muscles before returning to weight lifting. Please consult a physiotherapist to find out what's causing you pain and the right pain management solution.

I have left leg knee pain. What is the remedies of that. How I can control the pain.
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your knee pain could be due to certain reasons but common ones are chondromalacia, pain due to knee instability, inflammation etc. If there is no history of any injury, and no s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness or local warmth on touching, then I will like to advise you for conservative management initially in form of: - intensive physical therapy with focus on strengthening of quadriceps and stretching of other group of muscles - gentle anti inflammatory medications like tab etoshine or tab paracetamol can be taken in small doses for 5-7 days - adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation as per requirement - ice packs at home for 3-4 times in a day and see how it goes for around 2 weeks time. If your condition does not improve, then we will have to get certain investigations done. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

Still I have pain at my Arm and Shoulder. How much time will take to heal my bone? Please let me know Sir. I am unable to bear this.

You need to consult me with latest x-rays. I think there is some associated problems with the fractured portion and the plating done there. 5 months is pretty good time. Enough waiting and should consult at earliest.

U are slightly overweight for your height, so that could be a cause of back ache. Moreover your vitamin D could be low, so get your Vitamin D levels done fasting( blood test) and revert back with reports.

DM - Rheumatology, MD - General Medicine

No it isnt. Let it be. Surgery doesnt hv side effects , but it can always recurr, so no use. It won't give you any trouble except mild on and off pain. You can get steroid injected in it every 6 months or so, much easier than surgery and it might dispapear with this simple step.

Your neck is flexible and supports the weight of your head, so it can be vulnerable to injuries and conditions that cause pain and restrict motion. Muscle strains. Overuse, such as too many hours hunched over your computer or smartphone, often triggers muscle strains. Even minor things, such as reading in bed or gritting your teeth, can strain neck muscles. Worn joints. Just like the other joints in your body, your neck joints tend to wear down with age. Osteoarthritis causes the cushions (cartilage) between your bones (vertebrae) to deteriorate. Your body then forms bone spurs that affect joint motion and cause pain. Nerve compression. Herniated disks or bone spurs in the vertebrae of your neck can press on the nerves branching out from the spinal cord. Injuries. Rear-end auto collisions often result in whiplash injury, which occurs when the head is jerked backward and then forward, straining the soft tissues of the neck. Diseases. Certain diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, can cause neck pain. Do yoga properly, do pranayama regularly, take 1 cup of boiled water add 8 to 10 curry leaves put it up to water become lukewarm then drink it every morning before food this home remedy is very useful in nack pain ayurveda have some excellent medicines you will be get relief in some weeks.

I am working in office and continues sit in chair. Then I have back problem how can I solve it.

M S Orthopaedics, MBBS

I am working in office and continues sit in chair. Then I have back problem how can I solve it.
Hello lybrate user, sitting for long hours in an office is a common cause for back pain. Initially you can take some painkillers for the same. Rest for one or two days may be required. Once adequate pain relief occurs, begin with some physiotherapy exercises for your back like stretching followed a few days later by gradual back muscle strengthening exercises. Your posture should be erect while sitting for long hours with intermittent periods of rest and stretching every hour for 5 to 10 mins. You should also use a chair with a good back rest for the intermittent periods of rest. Maintain your weight by balanced diet and regular exercises. Hope this helps.

Cervical spondylosis, also known as cervical osteoarthritis or neck arthritis, is a common, age-related condition that affects the joints and discs in your neck. Treatments for cervical spondylosis focus on providing pain relief, lowering the risk of permanent damage, and helping you lead a normal life. Nonsurgical methods are usually very effective. Heat is an effective mean of reducing and relieving pain in cervical spondylosis. You can use hot packs at home. Some exercises like static contractions and strengthening exercises are needs to be done. Isometric contractions of the cervical muscles improve the muscle endurance and tone as the contractions improve the blood supply thereby the nutrition to the muscle is increased and hence muscle strengthening is done. Please see a physiotherapist for these exercises. You may need traction and soft tissue techniques for the management of cs. Postural awareness is very important. As the condition progresses, the abnormality of posture also increases, thus from the initial stage itself, postural awareness through proper advice and education should be planned and initiated by the physiotherapist. Your doctor/physiotherapist may not be able to reverse the condition, but they can often recommend conservative treatments to help you overcome the discomfort and pain. Best wishes.
