Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation.

I am 22 years old I am suffering from arthritis for last 8 MONTHS. SIR What to do to get cure?

Arthritis is swelling of joints with pain , stiffness . There are some methods you can apply : • Do exercise such as walking that strength your muscles and move your joint .From movement of joint you got relief from pain and stiffness. •Gentle massage your joints with lukewarm oil. You can use medicated oil.you can apply ice packs and heat with warm water bottle on your painful area. • If you are obese then lose some weight . Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello lybrate-user hope the following useful. Rest and protect an injured or sore area. Stop, change, or take a break from any activity that may be causing your pain or soreness. When resting, place a small pillow under your knee. Ice will reduce pain and swelling. Apply ice or cold packs immediately to prevent or minimize swelling. Apply the ice or cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes, 3 or more times a day.

I am suffering with Frozen shoulder since last one year. My age is 51. I do not have diabetes. My uric acid level is 8. I am doing some light exercises. My work is on computer working in Accounts dept. I can easily up my hand. Only in morning pain is more. And also suggest which massage hot or Ice is useful. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Rule out Diabetes. Any way it may be tried, --.Acetaminophen 250mg OD & SOS. X 5days. --.Caldikind plus (from Mankind)1 tab OD x 5 days. --. Fomentation with warm water. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. -- .Do mild exercises for back, (Take help of a physiotherapist). Kindly make sure, there is no allergy to any of these medicines. (Contact family doctor, if needed). For emergency treatment visit nearest hospital. Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There definitely could be degenerative changes setting in your joints at this age. Answers to knee osteoarthritis depends actually upon a lot of things but please tell me duration of pain and what are aggravating factors? how much distance can you walk and what is the analgesic requirement to carry out activities of daily routine? what medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. I also need to see your latest knee x rays so that I know what grade of arthritis are we dealing with on your case? normally without seeing anything I can still say that at your age you should take adequate amounts of calcium and vitamin d, do regular exercises for knee, back etc because these are the areas which undergo degeneration with age. Diet has got nothing to do with knee arthritis, but still take adequate calcium rich diet to keep bones healthy and strong do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

There are many causes of most pelvic tilt after thigh and hip fractures. One is weakness of abductor muscles of hip. The other is link length discrepancy (your leg is bit shortened after fracture). There may not be any abnormality and this could be just because you have become habitual walking with pelvic tilt. The treatment actually depends on a cause. You need to visit an orthopaedic surgeon for clinical assessment.

Okay. After seeing your profile. You may be suffering from rheumatoid arthritis condition. And kindly specify region of leg where you have pain. As is it in calf or thigh. Front side or back side. Also provided information regarding did you have pain in other joints or stiffness in joint at early morning or did you have any kind of trauma to knee only after that we can diagnose your problem.

first of all you should follow some basic thing 1.avoid=hot and cold at time 2.less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3.dont drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4.avoid late night sleep 5.sinhanad guggul 2 tab before lunch and dinner 6.maharsnadi kadha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner

Hi, As you spend a lot of time in a sitting. The default position for many people is shoulders forward, hips flexed, back slightly bent, and hunched over. This Position leads to tightness, inflexibility, and poor posture. You need something to open your body back up, pull you into proper alignment, and help you stand up straight. It’s important to stretch out the overactive muscles in the chest and upper back, and stimulate the under-active ones in the mid-back and shoulders. You need flexibility exercises, conditioning exercuses and core muscle execise Here are some stretches and exercises to try at the end of the day, or while you’re at work. Like doing pecotrals stretch Trapezius stretch Hip Flexor stretch Spina stretch in Child pose #Remember to stand once an hour. #Get about 30 minutes of aeribic activity per day like walking Suggest you learn strecthes under guidance of physiotherapist Thanks take care.

Hi, I am a 49 year old male with lower back pain. I suffered a disc prolapse in 2005 and a couple of recurrences later. I was in beta methasone for 2 years due to an attack of pemphigoid which started tapering off in dec 2014 and stopped using the same in march 2015. For the last 4-5 months, I have acute lower back pain, with stiffness in various other joints. I have undergone 7 sessions of physiotherapy (heat treatment and vibratory massage), I also am regularly doing the 6-7 recommended spine exercises for the last 5-6 weeks along with 3 km morning walk after the same. I have taken two booster doses of vitamin d and my rheumatoid arthritis related blood test is normal. This has now alleviated the pain which I used to get while getting out of the car or rising after sitting for more than 30 mins but the back pain is persisting. Kindly advise the next steps. Mri and pelvis x ray are normal except for some degeneration of l 3/l 5. This regimen
