Hello madam / sir I am going to be 25 in November and I am just married. Having few bad habits smoking, sometimes alcohol and sometimes junk food also. But I am also work out person, I lift heavyweights in gym and my weight is 76-77 kg. Can you please suggest me how to continue my fitness and keep my body much energetic and stamina full. I have left gym since my marriage function now I want to start again but towards real fitness instead of heavy weight lifting and body building.

Hello, You need to quit alcohol and smoking completely. They just won't help. You need to start with a scratch and gradually restart exercise schedule. Fitness should be mandatory and should not be compromised under any circumstances.

I am hypothyroidism patient from 20 years but thyroid level is not under control. Under tsh report is 25. Medicine dose taking 200. Feeling whole body pain, essential tremor, insomnia. Consult an endocrinologist who may increase your dose. If not controlled with higher dose he may evaluate you for malabsorption, drug interaction aor poor compliance. My adise is please control your weight as mentioned above (95 kg Ht 4'10. Thyroxine requrement depend on weight also, beside other factors.

It could be due to fungal infection 1. Apply panderm plus ointment twice daily for (1-2 week) 2. Take one tablet of levocetrizine (5 mg) at bed time if itching is severe 3.Thoroughly dry the area after taking bath and keep it dry and sweat free. Sugar mixed with water and lemon juice will help in exfoliating your face and offer natural bleach to your face. The lemon juice used will help in lightening the color of your facial hair. These three ingredients combine to help effectively remove hair on your face as well as other parts of the body. It is advisable not to use these ingredients on sensitive parts. Ingredients: •2 tablespoons of sugar •10 tablespoons of water •2 teaspoons of lemon juice •One small bowl Method: •Mix sugar and water in the small bowl. •Once the sugar solution is ready, add lemon juice into the bowl and mix well. •Now apply this sugar and lemon mixture on your face in the direction of hair growth on the face. •Allow this mixture to rest on your face for 15 to 20 minutes. •Wash it off with water after 20 minutes, by rubbing the mixture gently with your hands. •Repeat this process two to three times a week to see a reduction in facial hair. Also note that due to hormonal imbalance this is coming up and needs to be treated with internal medicines.

Here are some steps to fight obesity: Step 1: Ban Fatty and Processed Foods If you are serious about fighting obesity, then you must put a ban on fatty and processed foods. This means your refrigerator should not be loaded with pastries, muffins, cakes, frozen foods, preservatives, jellies, and many other food items that you are tempted to buy from the supermarket. Step 2: Make Friends with Lemon Drink a glass full of lemon in warm water with honey when you get up in the morning. This should be the first thing you have in the morning. It kick starts your body’s metabolism & helps with the cleansing process. This is vital when you are trying to flush out fat. The water you use should be filtered. Lemon will help you naturally balance your pH. Step 3: Eat Moderately Having three big full meals a day can harm your body. It is crucial to have something after two hours but in moderation. So have small 5 meals a day that includes health ingredients and are free of excess oil, ghee and fat. Step 4: NO Artificial Sweeteners You should stay away from diet sodas and ‘zero calorie’ drinks. These sweeteners are highly addictive excitotoxins. They cause users crave for more. They will contribute to the obesity rather than curing it. To sweeten your food and drinks, it is better to use honey, stevia, molasses, raw whole sugar, organic fruit juice etc. These are also referred to as lower glycemic sweeteners that help fight obesity naturally. This helps in flushing out toxins from your body and loses weight. Step 7: Get Moving You should exercise as often as possible in the gym or at home. This may not sound appealing but there is no way to escape hard work if you really want to stay in shape. Step 8: Green Tea You need to drink at least 2 cups of organic green tea to keep your metabolism in healthy state and boost your immune system.

I have oily scalp which gets greasy in 3 days. I'm suffering from dandruff since 10 days. I had washed my hair with the mixture of baking soda and lemon juice and there is significant reduction in dandruff. Is there any side effect of these mixture or what is the long term solution for dandruff? I generally use mixture of neem oil, coconut oil, castor oil twice a week for head massage but I've stopped using oil for dandruff. What will be the best method for dandruff prevention?

Hi ! Dandruff is a chronic condition that comes and goes. It is due, in part, to a yeast that lives in the scalp. There are many effective treatments including shampoos made of : ketoconazole selenium sulfide zinc pyrithione  You can use a ketoconazole containing antidandruff shampoo like “Scalpe”after washing scalp with your regular shampoo thrice a week for a month and then as maintenance at least once a week for 2 months.You need to leave the product on for 5 to 10 minutes prior to rinsing.  This will help to control the yeast responsible for dandruff. Avoid hair styling products and gels on scalp. Do not keep scalp oiled for long time. Do not share combs etc. Air dry your hair. Avoid using hair dryers. Do not scratch or itch.

Keeping in touch with your consciousness can be a brilliant thing to do. One should know thy self before anyone else in the world. Consciousness qualifies as self awareness. It gives you clarity about what you want, who you really are and who you really want to be. 

How to keep in touch with your consciousness?

  1. Walk out into the woods: Go on a nature hike. Take your dog and go for a run into the woods. Listen to your favourite music and do not forget to stop and breathe in the scenic beauty. It is bound to make you introspect.
  2. Go on a solo trip: Take a leave from work, get packing and head out to that trip to the Himalayas that you have been planning on for ages. Take your closest friends along if you would like to. And, if you are going on your own, do not forget to inform your friends or family about it.
  3. Meditate: Even if you have never tried to do it before, it is never late to start. Even if you are in the beginners’ level, it helps you attain inner peace and tranquillity.   7. Let the skies speak to you: Go camping will your closest, true friends and star gaze with them. Lying down on the grass and watching millions of stars look right back you can be an overwhelming experience. You will truly learn and understand how vast this universe is and let it seep into you. You will feel more in touch with yourself than ever before. The path to self consciousness will get even more clear in your head. Oil and shampoo helps in conditioning the scalp. Oiling is needed so do it 3/week and wash it 3/week. Hair is basically made up of minerals, protein and iron. If you have pain since 5 months, there is something serious. Medicines are not always useful. It may be meniscus or ligament injury. Better get mri of knee joint from a best center with 3 tesla machine. That will reveal the pathology. Treatment will depend upon that. Till then apply ice packs. Do cycling exercises.

Ginger can help reduce inflammation of the blood vessels in the head, thus providing relief from a headache. Mix equal parts of ginger juice and lemon juice. Consume it once or twice a day. Another option is to apply a paste of one teaspoon of dry ginger powder, also called sonth, and two tablespoons of water on the forehead for a few minutes. Try the above and get back to me.

Please note that if your start dialysis his condition is going to be worst day by day You have not mentioned about urea/sodium/potassium etc Morever he is taking so many medicines - hence his condition is bit critical. I suggest you take Homeopathic medicines for his kidney disease as least they do not have any side effects may be the process is slow. Before we start I need a brief of his sufferings and blood parameters and medicines he is taking so as to suggest better on this
