Please get a pap smear and a usg pelvis done. If normal you can consider a course of hormonal pills to regularise your periods.

Unless you have fever or any other sign of infection, you should avoid any medicine unless prescribed by your obstetrician. You have not written about the length of pregnancy, because in 1st trimester you must not take any medicine except by prescription. In later trimesters some medicines can be given guardedly. Cold is not something to be worried for. Cetrizine is an antihistamine drug and is not indicated during pregnancy unless benefits outweigh risks.

Castor Oil Castor oil is one of the best natural under eye moisturizers. Wash your hands and face with water and dry your skin with a soft towel. Dip your finger in castor oil and massage the wrinkled areas with it. For the best results, apply this remedy at night right before you sleep. When practiced regularly, it will not only remove wrinkles and fine lines, but it will also provide your skin a youthful and smooth look. Cucumber Juice Rubbing the under eye wrinkles with a cotton ball soaked in cucumber juice is also very effective. Cucumber contains natural ingredients that refresh the areas around your eyes, tighten your skin and give it a smoother look. Honey And Potato You can prepare another great home remedy for under eye wrinkles by using ½ tsp. of honey and ¼ slice of a raw potato. Mix honey in mashed potatoes to make a paste. Spread this paste on two cotton eye masks and put them on both the eyes, making sure that the masks are also covering the under eye wrinkles. Keep your eyes tightly closed so that the paste should not enter your eyes. After twenty minutes, remove the masks and wash the areas thoroughly with water. Mild wrinkles will almost go away immediately with this remedy. The darker and more stubborn lines will take a few weeks provided you are applying this remedy daily. Grapes Rub the exposed part of a half piece of grape over the wrinkles and fine lines under your eyes. The natural acids that grapes contain can be very effective in tightening your skin, which means the wrinkles will also be reduced in appearance. For the best results, you are advised to leave the application of grape juice over your skin on for at least fifteen minutes or more. You can wash your face after that. Stay Hydrated And Avoid Too Much Sun Exposure While you are using these remedies, you must also drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated. This way, the remedies will give you more effective and much faster results. In addition to that, too much exposure to sun should also be avoided because it can otherwise aggravate the condition.

The periods you get after taking those tablets is called withdrawal beeding. Some women get it the day after stopping, some later. You can wait upto 10 days after the last tablet to get periods. The main concern is pregnancy. If you are sure that possibility of pregnancy is small, you dont have to worry. You can wait.

Infertility: you are not alone

I meet many ladies everyday who are fighting with infertility. Some express their desire to have kids and pain associated with infertility openly and some are shy to share anything. People make allowances for all sorts of grief. Infertility is a loss of staggering proportions. A feeling of being incomplete, a feeling of deep emptiness from inside.

Those brave ladies who experience it, it can be deep, incomprehensible, painful bewildering and mind-numbing. Its not easy loss to define or put into words. Not having a child is something which makes them deeply hurt. I am sharing my experience in the clinic today, a wonderful lady, very focused and warm person. Expressed her feelings openly with an heavy heart. This emotional turmoil may be faced by many ladies. Just sharing so that many of us can identify with her and get a positive attitude and rest of us might provide them enough positivity and strength to lead a normal life.
We all will agree that it is sad to not be able to have children, the idea of feeling desperation and wild crippling grief could seem dramatic, excessive and even weak.
She told me that most common response from the people I meet is the word' kum se kum tumhe cancer, to nahi hai, tumne baccha to nahi khoya hai, koi aur serious problem to nahi hai na' the word' kum se kum' (at least) can be very disheartening many times.
We all are different and we deal with our emotional status differently. According to her she was not very happy with the atleast concept of sympathizing.
She told, many times in her fight with infertility she needed positivity around me, needed someone to sit down and hold her hand and say" i'm so sorry, this must hurt so much. I'm here for you" anyone who does not have mockery in eyes, have deep love and compassion in every word and the very fact that they allowed my grief to exist and they heard me was healing. So simple thing which can make her energized.
Unfortunately, more often, the unintentional message she heard was that of her sadness being undermined, made less by the words "at least"
Even I was thinking how could her personal pain possibly measure up against all the greater tragedies in the world?
I found her eyes becoming wet as she described how she cried rivers over the little boys and little girls who would never have her smile or her husband's eyes. She began to have dreams of stumbling down a difficult forest path leading to a pitch black lake where a child was floating face down in the water. Even she wanted to hug her child and feel the simple pleasure of being a mom. Even I felt my heart go for her. Becoming a mother can be the most happy experience of anyone's life.
When I was talking to her I realized that there is nothing trivial about grief over infertility. A person can grieve the loss of their dream of a biological family as honestly and deeply as someone else can grieve the loss of a child or parent or partner or their health.
There is no" at least" when it comes to the breaking of the human heart, there is no need to try to measure one person's pain against another to see who is worthy of feeling grief and who isn't.
If some one from your near and dear ones is fighting with infertility then assure that they have the emotional and mental support from you. A real guidance and taking the medical help at right time can do wonders. But we all require some amount of sensitivity towards their pain. Rest can be done by doctors and medical professionals. The only thing is power of positivity and feeling that someone understands their pain.

Coffee Drinking Is Good For You?

It appears that, in large populations of people, drinking coffee may (on average) confer health benefits. In particular, the risk of cardiac death and of overall mortality appears to be lower in coffee drinkers, with the optimal benefits seen in people who drink 3 - 4 cups per day. Whether caffeine has anything to do with such health benefits is not entirely known. Coffee contains a host of active substances aside from caffeine - substances that are thought to act as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, for instance - that may be contributing to this beneficial effect.

Epidemiological studies like this one, no matter how well they are performed, cannot possibly answer whether a specific individual will realize health benefits from coffee drinking. They can only tell us about the average response, across a large population.

We know that some individuals (probably determined by their genetic makeup) are particularly sensitive to caffeine, and may suffer severe sleep deprivation, jitteriness, or palpitations after drinking coffee (or any other caffeine-containing food or medication). We also know that caffeine sensitivity can change dramatically at various periods in one?s life (especially during pregnancy, when sensitivity to caffeine almost always increases). Drinking coffee is clearly not a good idea for everyone.

As a general rule, then, coffee drinking appears to have health benefits. But at least until routine genetic testing is available that might tell us about our own individual sensitivity to caffeine, whether coffee drinking is a good idea for us is something we?re just going to have to figure out for ourselves.

Read all about coffee and your heart.

Cardiac mortality: Compared to people who drank no coffee, people who drank one cup per day experienced an 11% reduction in cardiac mortality. This mortality
benefit ?peaked? (at about 20%) for people who drank 3 - 4 cups per day, and then began to diminish as the amount of coffee consumption increased beyond that level.
Cancer mortality: Several reports over the years have suggested that coffee might reduce the risk of certain cancers. In this large study, however, there was no difference in cancer mortality between people who drank no coffee, and people who drank from 1 to 6 cups of coffee per day.

Overall mortality: Compared to people who drank no coffee, coffee drinkers had a reduced mortality rate. Again, this mortality benefit seemed to peak at between 3 - 4 cups per day (at about a 15% reduction in mortality).

Cupping therapy in plantar fascitis (heel pain)

Few days ago a patient reported pain in the bottom of his foot. He described it as feeling like his foot was ripping apart during the first few steps out of bed in the morning. During the day it seemed to get a bit better but never totally gone. He had a list of other symptoms and wanted to do whatever he could to get rid of the pain. Finally patient was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and decided to treat with cupping therapy.

After the two sessions, he reported good improvement in his foot pain and leg muscle tightness. And now he is able to get out of bed and walk almost normally.

I believe that cupping is so much effective at removing inflammation, that it was key in treating his plantar fasciitis.

Among women, birth control pills have been in common usage since the food and drugs administration (fda) approved the first combined oral contraceptive pill (also called just the pill) in 1960. Since then, there are a number of brands that also offer progesterone-only pills. In both cases, the pill works by increasing the woman? s hormone levels at specific times during her menstrual cycle. This interrupts the cycle and inhibits her fertility. It is important to recognize that the term? fertility? in this case is specific to the monthly ovulation, where a mature woman? s uterus releases a mature ovum (egg. The pill? s sudden surge of hormones interrupts this process, thus ensuring that any male sperm will not find an egg to fertilize. The pill, however, has benefits beyond birth control. Women with certain menstrual disorders can experience regular periods. However, the pills have no effect on any underlying problems with the reproductive system. Hence, when a woman stops taking the pill, these problems will resurface, some of which could lead to infertility. In addition, a couple can have infertility problems that never surfaced simply because the woman was taking the pill and conception was not expected. Thus, stopping the pill often exposes underlying fertility issues, rather than causing them. Some couples also get impatient; please remember that on an average a healthy couple can take up to 8 months before a successful conception. Another important factor you need to consider is age. For example, it is generally easier to conceive at the age of 22 than 32. If you stop taking pills at age 32, your body? s natural ageing will determine the chances of conception. Finally, most scientific studies seem to show that the pills themselves do not have any negative impact on long-term fertility.
