My wife got miscarriage at 14 weeks, how long should we wait for the next planning.
She can wait for 4-6 months but before next planning she should exercise in routine esp.Pelvic floor exercises and abdominal exercises which will make her uterus and body ready for next pregnancy.Make sure she doesnot gain weight during this period.

To conceive one thing you should know that contact during ovulation only results in pregnancy, ovulation period is 14days prior to menses date. If your cycle length is 28_30 days you should have contact from12_17th day of your cycle. For your vaginal dryness, it may be due to excessive contact and you are very stressed for the pregnancy, take it easy.

Ek choti jaisi gilti ha mere breast me jo bhadi hoti ja rhyi ha or dard bi hota hai. Please help

Generally this is due to a condition called fibroadenosis. This is a harmless condition and is related to hormonal changes. It is usually more, a few days before the start of monthly menstrual period and becomes less after the periods. You might be able to feel a lump on catching with all the fingers of your hand but no lump when you try to feel it with the flat surface of the fingers / hand. Breast support with a tight fitting bra might give some relief. Medication can be of some help but that should be taken only after a physical examination by a general surgeon.

My girlfriend is having something like Vagismus as per symptoms. Few months ago, penetration was so easier during sex. Now I am unable to penetrate like there is no vaginal opening but a week ago we did intercourse after a gap of one month to check whether vaginal opening is there or not. It was there but she was in pain during intercourse. Also I got dot size red spots on Penis after sex which goes away in few days. But it comes back again after intercourse.

Dyspareunia is pain prior to, during, or after, sexual intercourse. Dyspareunia is more common in women but can affect either sex. Many women will experience dyspareunia at some time in their life. Sometimes a medial or physical etiology may not be obvious and psychosocial factors also can play an important role. In men, dyspareunia can be related to an allergic reaction to a condom or spermicidal. An infection of the prostate or prostatitis may also cause pain. If a female partner has a vaginal infection or dryness, the male can experience discomfort during intercourse. Dyspareunia can have several different causes. For instance, Vaginismus is a “spasm” or contractions of the muscles surrounding the vagina. Women with Vaginismus have pain with insertion of tampons as well as with penile penetration. Homeopathy is one of the most popular holistic systems of medicine. The selection of remedy is based upon the theory of individualization and symptoms similarity by using holistic approach. This is the only way through which a state of complete health can be regained by removing all the sign and symptoms from which the patient is suffering. The aim of homeopathy is not only to treat dyspareunia but to address its underlying cause and individual susceptibility. As far as therapeutic medication is concerned, several remedies are available to cure dyspareunia that can be selected on the basis of cause, sensations and modalities of the complaints.  You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

Diet Tips To Keep Your Bones Healthy

Diet Tips To Keep Your Bones Healthy

A healthy diet is not only important for that toned waistline, but it also keeps your bones healthy. Two of the most important nutrients needed for healthy bones are Calcium and Vitamin D. Calcium helps in strengthening your bones while Vitamin D facilitates calcium absorption in the body. If the bones are not healthy, it can lead to bone disorders such as osteoporosis and rickets.

If you want to keep your bones fighting strong and healthy, here are some diet tips that you can follow:

  1. Consume Yoghurt: A very good breakfast option, Yoghurt contains 30% of calcium and 20% of Vitamin D as per RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance), both being vital for healthy bones. It also contains little in terms of calories so that you don’t have to lose sleep over your waistline.

  2. Milk: If you think milk is just for kids, think again. Milk is one of the best sources of protein and calcium; infact it contains 30% of calcium as per RDA. So yes! Drop all inhibitions and drink that glass of warm milk to keep your bones healthy.

  3. Cheese: Another milk-based product, cheese is also rich in protein and calcium. You need to make sure that the cheese you consume is the fat-free version in order to restrict calorie intake.

  4. Sardines: If you are planning on getting a fish sandwich for lunch, then you are on the right track. Sardines are not only rich in Omega-3 Fatty acids, but they also contain calcium and Vitamin D is high amounts.

  5. Eggs: Don’t fear the egg yolk. Not so fast now! Egg yolk contains Vitamin D, an essential nutrient that facilitates calcium absorption in the body. Eggs are also one of the best super-foods as they are a powerhouse of various nutrients.

  6. Spinach: Remember Popeye, the cartoon sailor whose muscular frame was attributed to spinach. Now let’s get down to the facts. Spinach contains calcium, fibre and iron – all very essential for your body. Consuming spinach regularly is one ‘go green’ way to keep your bones healthy. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist and ask a free question.

I'm 32 yes female. My mom expired becoz of breast cancer. I had done excision in left breast for sebaceous cyst. Whether I want to know it will also leads to cancer. Also how to secure myself from that. I have one daughter 3 years old. Please suggests me.

Dear lybrate-user- you definitely need to be alert as you lost your mother to breast cancer. The sebaceous cyst has no connection with breast cancer. Please learn how to do a breast self-examination, and do it (after your period) -EVERY MONTH. In case you find a breast lump please follow it up with a surgeon. Please get a bilateral mammogram done every year. That should be fine to monitor your breast health.

Emergency pill should not be taken routinely as it disrupts the hormonal cycle, may be delaying it or putting a total stop which will lead to difficulty in conceiving in future.

Your developing baby is protected by the amniotic fluid in your uterus, as well as the strong muscles of the uterus itself. Sexual activity won't affect your baby. So it is completely safe to sex during pregnancy.

Main cause of Unconsummation in females.

MD-Dermatology, MBBS
Sexologist, Pune
Main cause of Unconsummation in females.
UNCONSUMMATION DUE TO VAGINISMUS

Recurrent or persistent involuntary spasm of the musculature of the outer third of the vagina that interferes with sexual intercourse.
Vaginismus may be mild, moderate or severe. In some females, even the anticipation of vaginal insertion may result in muscle spasm and prevention of penetration. Desire, pleasure and orgasmic capacity may not be impaired. The condition may disrupt relationship. Unconsummated marriage and infertility have been found to be associated with condition. Diagnosis is made during the routine gynecological examination when the contraction of vaginal outlet is observed. Contraction of the muscles may cause pain.
In some vaginismus cases occurs during sexual activity but not during gynecological examination. This disorder found more in younger women. Vaginismus is a psychosomatic problem. Women can experience orgasm by getting effective sexual stimulation, without penetration. Husband may become ‘impotent’ being persistently unsuccessful in penetration or because of not wanting to hurt his wife. We are treating such cases at WNHO Clinic, Pune. Hello. I am 24 years old. I got my 1st period when I was 14 years old. And ever since there has been Some or the other problem with my periods. They wer irregular for almost 6-7 years. I used to get them once 2-3 months. I was a little over weight as well. However since last one year I started doing yoga. Walking and had a great healthy diet due to which without Any medicines my periods became super regular, in August 2015 I had a blood test to check vit D B12 and thyroid. Thyroid was negative. There was vitamin deficiency for which I took medicines. Again in Sept 2015 I had a blinding pain in my lower abdomen and went for a complete lower abdomen scan. The scan showed everything is normal. Uterus is normal. But the ovaries showed some cysts. The doctor said they are polycystic appearing ovaries. And after september for almost 9 months my periods were regular but they became scanty. Lasting only 3 days instead of 5 and less bleeding. Since the last 2 months (I left yoga) I started having the same problem again. My periods are irregular and I don't get them. I went to the gynecologist last month she told me I am still over weight by 5 kgs and pcos has only one treatment which is maintaining a healthy life style. She gave me a tablet and told me to take it if I don't get my period by the end of the month. I took the tablet. I did bleed but it was very very less. Just in 2 days and the blood was not red. I had brown discharge and brownish bleeding. This month again I don't get my period. It's really irritating now. I am otherwise very healthy. I don't take stress. I don't drink I never smoke then why is this happening? Also off late I have started to experience dryness and itching in vaginal area. Weakness in arms. Back pain and sometimes pain in my left breast which goes away on its own. I was going through the internet and found out that sometimes menopause is also the reason. I really feel I am also getting menopause at this age. Why else there would be so much problem in the functioning of my period cycle? So could any doctor confirm whether this is menopause? If yes what should I do? What is a permanent solution to this problem? It's really irritating now! Thank you.
