Hello doctors, I just wanted to know that contact lenses are comfortable/suitable for eyes or not? does it harmful?

Contact lenses if not used properly can lead to serious complications like corneal infection contact lenses should be used with proper aseptic precautions. The nutrition to cornea comes from oxygen in air, which gets compromised when using contact lens, making eye prone to infections. Different contact lenses have different period of time for which it can be used. Dont used it beyond that period. Never use contact lens in dusty conditions. Never sleep with contact lens on. If you abide by these things you will have no problems.

My question is that will I become pregnant with scanty period. My lh is low prolactin insulin and fsh is normal. I m on medication for renal stenosis. I m taking beta lock. If your periods are normal then usually it should be okay. I would advise you to do a HB level . Also you should consult a doctor if you are planning a pregnancy as your anti-hypertensive medicine and other medicines may need changing

Hello lybrate user, - have you followed healthy diet mean while also matters here - avoid foods which trigger the issue, like oily spicy spur foods - have more of water and fresh fruits like pomegranate, muskmelon tender coconut, watermelon etc - keep splashing water to the face to keep away oil secretion - ayurveda gives you better way to correct the issue in natural way - adopt panchakarma treatment means detox your body to normalize and be healthy - you can also apply yashtimadhu churna with aloevera pulp and chandana powder with rose water daily once too the face and keep it for 15 min do this for 10 days you will be better thank you.

Hi, your mother is over weight by 5 kg. She should follow the under noted tips. Go for a brisk walk in d morning. Go for meditation to nourish your cells and tissues including knee joins. Take homoeopathic medicine sulphur 200 4 times 4 days 4pills. Whenever you feel the burning you can take 4pills doesn't harm. 5 Common Running Injuries

Too much of something is never a good idea. Running is a great way to exercise, but if you don't run in moderation and do not take care of yourself, you could foresee more than one health problem. If you push yourself too hard as a runner, you could face one of more of these running problems.

Runner's knee: If the bones in your knee shift out of alignment, the condition is called runner's knee. This is one of the most common overuse injuries. At first you may not realize it, but with time, this can cause the cartilage in the knee to wear out. This can create excruciating pain. A few simple ways of making yourself more comfortable are:

  • Squatting
  • Walking up and down stairs
  • Bending your knee while sitting

Stress fracture: A stress fracture is a small crack in the shin bone or one of the bones in your foot. This can happen if you suddenly over exert without giving your body time to get used to running. Since it is only a crack, a doctor will not normally out your leg or foot in a cast. The only way to let your bones heal in such a condition is to rest it.
Shin splint: Flat footed people are most susceptible to shin splints. Shin splints can be caused by stress fractures and overused or weakened muscles. To treat a shin splint, give your leg plenty of rest and gently stretch it. Give yourself a few weeks to recover before you start running again.
Achilles tendinitis: Inflammation of the Achilles tendon is known as Achilles tendinitis. The Achilles tendon attaches the calf muscle to the heel. Suddenly increasing the distance you run in a day is the most common cause of Achilles tendinitis. The most common symptom of this condition is pain and stiffness around the ankle. Ice the area to deal with the immediate pain and discomfort. Your ankle will also need plenty of rest to properly heal. Stretching the calf muscles can also prove to be beneficial.
Muscle pulls: Almost every runner suffers from a muscle pull at some point or the other. A muscle pull can be defined as a small tear in the muscle. Muscle pulls usually affect the hamstrings, quadriceps, calf and groin. To treat a muscle tear, keep your leg elevated; give it plenty of rest and use an ice pack or compression pack on the area.


Apart from these, a few other injuries that runners often suffer from include ankle sprains, blisters, IT band syndrome and plantar fasciitis.

Dear , your treatment depends on how serious your slip disc is. I usually don' t do surgery for mild to moderate degree of lumbar slip disc. You will benefit from physiotherapy, hot bad, pain relieving gels and correction of posture. If you have an mri done you can send me the report. (take a photo of the report and send over private chat option). There are newer treatments like rf and laser which can be done where physio has failed. I will try my best so that you can be relieved without surgery.

No masturbation has no proven effects on general health and fitness. However repeated masturbations to relieve stress and anxiety can cause dependence on it. Hence it is advisable to have healthier ways of relaxation from stress and sexual anxiety and not just resorting to masturbation.
