How often should bras be worn? Is it good to wear bra right after doing breast massage with olive oil? I massage my breasts with olive oil for the stiffness and tightness of my breasts. Wearing it, is good for stiffness and helps to bring loose tissues back to their position or should breasts be left loose for the skin to breathe for a while after massage? I do it daily for 5-10 minutes before taking bath. Will massage help out in building strong tissues? When m at home I wear bra Just for 3-4 hours, but always either remove or unhook it while sleeping.

For women who have petite/small breast size, its absolutely fine to not wear bras, because there is no external support required to contain the small breast volume. However, in case of women with larger breast size, there are multiple physical discomforts like shoulder pain, back pain, jiggling while walking, shoulder drooping etc. that develop due to the excess breast volume. Thus, an external support is needed to address these physical concerns. 80% of a bra’s support comes from its cradle or underband. A well designed and constructed bra not only lifts up the extra weight of the breasts but also distributes it evenly across wearer’s back, thus reducing the pressure on shoulders.

Two Main Causes Of Erythroblastosis Fetalis!

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Two Main Causes Of Erythroblastosis Fetalis!

What is erythroblastosis fetalis?
Erythroblastosis fetalis is also known as haemolytic anaemia in the newborn. This occurs due to blood incompatibility in the mother and foetus. Due to this incompatibility, the antibodies present in the mother’s blood, will pass through the placental barrier and attack the blood cells of the foetus. This will lead to the destruction of the red blood cells of the foetus and it is likely to cause anaemia in the foetus. This condition varies from mild to very serious. In its moderate or severe stage, the erythroblasts or immature red blood cells are formed in the blood of the foetus and this disease is called erythroblastosis fetalis.

Why does it happen?
The two main causes of erythroblastosis fetalis are Rh incompatibility and ABO incompatibility.

  1. Rh Incompatibility: When the mother is Rh –ve and the father is Rh +ve, there is a good chance for the baby to be Rh +ve. The antigens present in the blood of the Rh +ve baby will behave like a foreign agent and the mother will produce antibodies against it. If it is the first pregnancy, then the child may not be at risk, however, if the second child ends up being of +ve blood group again, then the antibodies present in the mother’s blood will attack the baby and may result in a spontaneous abortion.
  2. ABO Incompatibility: This usually occurs when the mother’s blood group A, B, O does not match the baby’s. This causes fewer complications in comparison to Rh incompatibility, but it may be severe if the child has a very rare blood group.

How to avoid it?
It is a highly preventive condition. Firstly, you have not tested your blood group; it is advised to get it tested along with the blood group of the father. If you already know your blood group, then you must mention it to your doctor. If the father has negative blood group, then there will be no problem. However if the father is Rh positive, then it is advised to get routine tests done by the doctor.
The other preventive measure to take is a treatment called RhoGAM or the Rh immunoglobulin. It reduces the reaction of the mother to the baby’s blood cells. This shot is administered around the 28th week of the pregnancy. It is also administered 72 hours after the birth of the baby with the positive blood group.

Excessive production of prostaglandins is one of the major causes for most signs and symptoms of dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea is almost wholly due to this and may be due to a tight cervix, the mouth of the uterus. Such cases improve totally after a normal child birth due to stretching of the uterine musculature. Secondary dysmenorrhea, however, needs proper investigating into in order to know the causative pathology. The underlying pathology needs to be treated to control painful menses. Pain-killers can only offer temporary relief. The common causes of secondary dysmenorrhea are pelvic infections, congestive or inflammatory conditions within the pelvis like endometriosis, uterine tumors such as polyps or fibroids, and the presence of a foreign body such as an intrauterine contraceptive device [IUCD]. Homeopathy has a promising role to play in cases of dysmenorrhea. The medicines are known to reduce the severity of the pain as well as to treat the cause, whenever possible. Every patient with dysmenorrhea may present with a different set of individual symptoms, which are carefully noted while deciding the homeopathic line of treatment. Homeopathic treatment is strongly suggested. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects

Abdominal crampsNot really as week before period you will not have any fluid discharge and also adbominal cramp might be due to menstrual cycles however this abdominal cramp is quite common in pregnancy women. Not really as week before period you will not have any fluid discharge and also abdominal cramp might be due to menstrual cycles however this abdominal cramp is quite common. White discharge is due to weakness and also it is fine to have sex on those fertile days. Eat good iron content food which will help to reduce with the white fluid secretion Cramps during menstrual cycles are quite common or it might due to be anaemic reasons too. However feeling sick, irritated and depressed is also common as it is due to pre menstrual syndrome and for females it also persists longer during periods too. You may not be pregnant as you just then got periods. Check whether the gap is 28 days after you got you cycles. If it had crossed 28 days then it is next cycle then after intercourse you might become pregnant during the fertile days between 11--14 days after periods those are important to conceive. Calculate it properly.

If they were virgins , they need to fear contracting disease. If you have multiple partners, the fear is greater for them. Anyway, for now do not worry. It is highly advisable to be prudent and stick to one partner.
