It's a behaviour problem, can be countered by a strong will power only. No medicines can correct it. Try yoga or meditate when there's an urge to eat anything. Make a diet chart to suit your needs. Stick it on fridge, every time you have an urge to eat, chart will serve as a reminder.

As you r suffering from pcod, menses r likely to be irregular and scanty. There is no need to take medicines to get ir regular as it will be same story again next month once you stop medicines. Krimson is given, only if patient has hirsutism or excessive hair. As for this menses are concerned, there is no need to panic, wait for another 1 month for the menses to come. Mainstay of treatment of pcod is weight reduction and everything will fall in place.

Acne - Health Tips
Acne. A common problem with simple solutions
Keep your face clean. Use a mild face wash at least twice a day. Drink lots of water.
People with oily skin avoid oily food, butter, cheese and other dairy products.
Don't rub your face whenever you sweat, dab it.
When acne are present, do not touch them, press them or pick on them, this doesn't help at all. On the contrary, it leaves marks which are difficult to clear.
Avoid rubbing and scrubbing your skin.
These simple tips make the further treatment easy and more effective.

Dear user the pain that you are experiencing is due to spasm of the uterine muscle. Probably you are suffering from dysmenorrhoea. You need to indulge yourself in physical activity and pelvic exercise but not during menses. For now you can use mag phos 3x tabs thrice a day during acute pain 4 tabs to make adose.

Treatment of irregular periods depends on the cause and your desire to have children in the future. Irregular periods can be caused by many different things. Changes in your body's level of the hormones estrogen and progesterone can disrupt the normal pattern of your period. That's why young girls going through puberty and women approaching menopause commonly have irregular periods. Other common causes of irregular periods include: • Having an intrauterine device (IUD) • Changing birth control pills or using certain medications • Excessive exercise • Polycystic ovary disease (PCOS) • Pregnancy or breastfeeding • Severe scarring (adhesions) of the lining of the uterus, a condition known as Asherman syndrome • Stress • Overactive thyroid or hyperthyroidism • Thickening of or polyps on the uterine lining • Uterine fibroids Turmeric Being a warming herb, turmeric is also considered helpful in regulating menstruation and balancing hormones. Its emmenagogue properties help stimulate menstrual flow. Moreover, its antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties relieve menstrual pain. • Consume one-quarter teaspoon of turmeric with milk, honey or jaggery. Take it daily for several weeks or until you see improvement. • You can also take turmeric in supplement form; consult your doctor for proper dosage.

Hello lybrate user- oligo mennhorea or less flow during menses might occur due to the reason that you have developed anaemia (low hb count). It is also associated with weight loss. Follow these dietary tips- a) avoid fast food and spicy diet an increase dairy products in diet. B) eat diet prescribed for indians that is dal-chawal-sabji and roti, do not try to follow western routine by reading some article on magazine or internet. C) sleep at least 8-10 hours daily.

I am 28 years female. I am trying to get pregnant from 2 years back. And I am also having hypothyroidism problem but it is normal range. My menstruation cycle is 30 days, I just want to ask the reason of not getting pregnant.

I am 28 years female. I am trying to get pregnant from 2 years back. And I am also having hypothyroidism problem but ...
Shikhaji, Please let me know the latest TSH levels and the dose of thyronorm being taken. Ideally TSH levels should be around 2 milli units/ml. If every thing is normal that is your TSH levels, monthly menstrual cycle, ovulation and the sperm count of your husband, then pregnancy is a possible. But there can be many other factors which influence in getting conceived. So it is better if you consult a competent gynecologist who should be able to give correct guidance. This is not a situation which online consultation can be of much help.
