To trigger the prevention of teeth from discoloration and for whiter teeth develop a habit of munching appleas, pears, carrots or celery after brushing as they induce tooth-bathing saliva which whitens the teeth.

You need to recheck your rct. Because sometimes tooth opening is packed with cotton and some cements. Formation of pus inside the toth undergoing rct raises the pressure inside the tooth and causes pain. You can visit a doctor nearby to make an opening in packed tooth. So that pus can be released.

How to care our teeth when they are suffering from cavity? How to gain body weight.
You can go to a dentist and get the filling done for the cavity in tooth. If your height is 5 ft (152 cm) & weight 55 kg, your Body Mass Index (BMI) will be 24 kg/m2. Smart BMI (SBMI) will be 43 /70. Shows slight overweight. (SBMI will take age, gender, height & weight for calculation) Normal range is 30/70- 39/70 As per these values, there is no need for you to gain weight. Maintain your weight between 50- 52 kg for better health.

If your son has decay in his teeth, the doctor is absolutely right. If his milk teeth are not treated properly and if he loses them, the empty space left would lead to malocclusion and other problems. If you are not convinced with the doctors opinion, you can send in his radiographs and pictures. In the future, ask your dentist about fluoride applications to prevent other teeth from decaying. Also make it a habit for him to clean his mouth after meals. Good day.

Root of gum at the upper jaw is swollen and sometimes it's aching. If I press with finger some blood comes. I am having this more than two months. Regular brush in our teeth ,twice in a day. Then why it yellow and sometime bleeding gums.
Yellow teeth can be due to food habits and oral hygiene problems. Bleeding gums are a sign of gum disease. 1. Maintain good oral hygiene. 2. Brush regularly, at least twice daily. 3. Get scaling and polishing of teeth done every six months. Bleaching of teeth can be done for whiter teeth. 4. Get checkup done by dentist once in six months. 5. Have a healthy balanced diet.

My child is 4 years old she is suffering from mouth smell is very bad what I should do?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

My child is 4 years old she is suffering from mouth smell is very bad what I should do?
Infections in the mouth, such as dental caries (tooth decay), periodontal (gum) disease or mouth sores related to other conditions may contribute to bad breath. Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. Dry mouth also can cause bad breath. Smoking or chewing tobacco-based products also can cause bad breath, You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then.

I am having gene problem of tooth. My father and mother also have. I am facing cavity problem. What should I do?

MDS
Dentist, Lucknow
Hi, facing cavity issues with or without pain is not uncommon but labeling it to be genetic is quite premature unless genetic mapping of the disease has been done. It most often depends on the oral hygiene than genes. And if the tooth structure is genetically weak then there are ways to strengthen it or reinforce it. Cavities can always be restored unless and until u have lost whole of tooth crown by it. Kindly get your dental rehabilitation done as soon as possible. Thanks n healing regards
