Please note the following in respect to your query: Potatoes are crammed with carbohydrates. All forms of this stuffy food have major impact on weight gain. You can grill or bake potatoes with butter. People who eat potato chips and French fries tend to gain weight faster. Make French fries using extra virgin oil, if you like them. •Moreover, you can also make a delicious potato salad. Peel and slice potato. Boil them and mix them with the high calorie ingredients like buttermilk, mayonnaise, and veggies. Note – If you eat French fries regularly, limit your potato consumption to twice a week. Midday sleep plays a crucial role in gaining weight. Take a nap of about 45 minutes to 1 hour, post afternoon meal or lunch. Also take Alfalfa Q - 10 drops twice daily with water Continue treatment.

It would be helpful to know if she is breast feeding and how long her periods have returned after delivery. If she was having regular periods for the last few months and it has suddenly stopped now then please repeat a urine pregnancy test with a morning sample. If still negative then consider taking tablet modus to initiate a bleed.

Hi, Glow is something which comes from within, so “Be happy and make others happy!” Follow this in your life and you will see the difference as natural glow comes from within! Management: Include healthy, nutritious food, doing daily yoga or some kind of exercises. All these automatically reflects glow on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4 hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. Lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon, orange,gooseberry, etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, can notaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce. If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: Use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel or Bakson’s Fairness cream daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this 2-3 times a day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective. For unwanted facial hair: Take Schwabe's Oleum Jacoris 3x/ 3 times a day for 3 months. And get your hormonal assay done.

If the cavity is superficial, that is, only on the upper layers of the tooth, it can surely be filled with a tooth colored material. However, if it is a deep one, it you may have to undergo an RCT, followed by cap, which is a slightly longer procedure than a usual filling. Hi 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Hi am MB, I am 67 years old, recently I had got my comprehensive cardiac check up done which I do regularly with a frequency of once every year. This time during regular treadmill test, my exercise tolerance was found fair. What does that actually mean? And what is tmt positive? Is there any thing needed to be done after tmt test results? What is the relationship between a positive tmt and bad cholesterol? What are the precautions needed to be taken to prevent bad cholesterol build up? What kind of food habits that has to be avoided for good heart condition and subsequently to keep yourself away from cholesterol? Are exercise requirements and regular walking habits play a vital role in maintaining healthy heart state? Request to answer my queries and help me to maintain a sound health. Thank you very much. Exercise tolerance is fair but tmt? positive, may be slightly. Get echo done to know % functioning of heart and a total lipid profile to know about good and bad cholesterol. Our body is like a car that needs good type of engine oil to function properly, bad cholesterol is bad oil, and good cholesterol is good oil, low chilesterol does lead to illnesses like arthritis and cancer. Keep low cholesterol lower than 80 and good cholesterol higher than 80. Eat 5 gms of desi ghee / butter and a katori of nuts of all varieties-soaked and peeled almonds, cashew nuts, wallnuts, peanuts etc. Avoid bad fats like burgers, pizzas, fried road side food and reheated oil at home. Do not go by ads on tv, there is no oil that is zero cholesterol, but still till date sarson ka tel - musturd oil is the best for our style of cooking, use steam to cook, avoid frying even at home. Consume more seasonal fruits and vegetables. If levels of good cholesterol are kept on a higher side, it helps bring down the levels of bad cholesterol. Exercise reduces bad cholesterol and so does drinking a glass of warm water with juice of fresh lemon + a spoon of honey in it. Write down if there are any doubts. Remember pollution is bad for the heart, as bad as smoking, stay near green plants to get fresh oxygen, if risky levels outside home, it is better to stay indoors and use an exercise cycle.

Dear lybrate-user, your back problem if severe can be because of many reasons. Get yourself checked by the physician and tell me the report. And you should do these yogasanas- supine hamstring stretch. Two knee twist. Do this regularly and daily to get relieved.

abdominal pain can be caused by many conditions. However, the main causes are infection, abnormal growths, inflammation, obstruction (blockage), and intestinal disorders.so first get an ultrasound of whole abdomen and visit to doctor for medicinal treatment.

Dear lybrate user, benign hypertrophy of prostate is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. In this clinical condition multiple nodules are formed inside the prostate gland. These nodules often compress the urethra resulting in the narrowing of the lumen of urethra & producing a resistance to the urine flow. Resistance to urine flow requires the bladder to work harder during voiding, possibly leading to progressive enlargement, instability, or weakness of the bladder muscle. Benign hypertrophy of prostate can be easily diagnosed by an usg of whole abdomen along with blood test for prostate specific antigen (psa). Follow the given medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic causticum 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic conium mac 30 before going to bath daily. 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic baryta carb 30 just one hour before dinner daily. 4) homoeopathic mother tincture sabal serrulata q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Along with the aforesaid medication few changes in your lifestyle are also necessary. Lifestyle alterations to address the symptoms include decreasing fluid intake before bedtime, moderating the consumption of alcohol and caffeine-containing products, and following a timed voiding schedule. Also it would be better if you could void the urine in sitting position.

To get thick & strong follow these instructions and methods: •Take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Rest and drink plenty of fluids. Drink water properly. Keep your body hydrated. If doctor gives medicine course then take medicine properly. Drink herbal tea. 1. Soak a wash cloth in cool tap water, wring out the excess water and then sponge areas like your armpits, feet, hands and groin to reduce the temperature. 2. Mix one-half teaspoon of turmeric and one-fourth teaspoon of black pepper powder in one cup of hot milk. Drink this mixture twice a day to get rid of fever symptoms. Take care.

Hi -you need high protein diet. You can drink double toned milk one at break fast 150 ml as well at bed time same amount. Apart from cereals add protein on every staple meal like bf. Lunch. Dinner add 50 gm paneer / cheese/ chana with sprouts/ mix vegetables rich in gourd family vegetables. This same amount protein you must repeat at both times meal. Apart from this you can add always sprouts 25 gm, pulses (dal, legumes, flax seeds, tofy, soyabeans, etc.

First of all please get it checked from a physician. If it is chicken pox then avoid all spicy foods, outside foods and fermented foods also.
