Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Hi lybrate user for increasing body weight, start eating more chapatis and rice with ghee or butter. Take creamed milk upto 400 ml daily. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, take pulses and pulses products. You can eat homemade fried foods but avoid eating from the market. If you eat non-veg then eat 2 to 3 pcs. Of egg or fish thrice a week. Also take 4 to 6 pcs. Of almonds or cashew nuts or some raisins. Must take exercise daily as it helps in better absorption of food and also increases your satiety.

For gaining weight you may follow these tips: 1. Drink 3 litres water daily (but not with or just before a meal) 2. Have small frequent meals rich in nutrient & energy density but low in volume- ex: paneer, cheese-potato sandwich, malt withmilk & sugar, mango lassi, til chikki, peanut chikki, dry fruits, banana kheer, premix with soup/fruit juice/curd, sugarcane/bel juice, soyabean cutlet (low oil), rice with ghee + egg & potato curry, thicker roti with ghee, peanut butter, jam/jelly, chicken roll, fish fingers (home made) 3. Take 15 mins light walk before main meals to increase appetite & 10 mins light walk post meals 4. Avoid skipping meals, junk & empty calorie foods, fried & spicy foods 5. Eat slowly chewing food well 6. Have saunf water for 4-7 days. 7. Chew ajwain post main meals

Dear lybrateuser, -you have to eat proper meals to keep physically & mentally fit -do regular exercises like walking, cycling, swimming regularly to increase your appetite -have whatever you like for meals, have meals regularly, do not skip a meal, also have a snack like fruit, sandwich, salad in between if you feel hungary -have 8-10 glasses of water for proper digestion -avoid fried, processed & junk food.

The first thing you need to understand is that when you gain weight you’re either gaining muscle or you’re gaining fat. So the healthiest way to gain weight is by putting on lean muscle, which means while you’re going to be eating more, you need to be conscious of what you’re eating. Take foods high in protein, fat, and carbs (carbs on days you’re working out) and trying to stay away from foods high in sugar, especially added sugar. This being because a lot of the sugar we eat gets metabolized into fat, and high-blood sugar levels have been linked to metabolic syndrome, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, and even premature aging. Here are important foods for weight gain. Soya, lean meats, salmon, tuna, egg whites, sprouts, pulses, rajma, chole, tofu, beans, whole grains. Take expert advice. Thanku.

If menses r irregular since long then it should be investigated properly. Ultrasound, fsh, lh, tsh and prolactin blood tests should be done asap to find out the exact cause for irregular menses. Your weight is normal so you r unlikely to be suffering from pcod, which can be confirmed on ultrasound.

Your weight should be 54 kg as per your height. In order to gain weight, here are some tips- 1. Have small meals which are low in volume but high in nutrient & calorie density at regular intervals (every 2-3 hrs). Ex- aloo- paratha, bread with jam/peanut butter, almond milkshake, mango juice, til ladoo, peanut chikki, cheese-omlette, hilsa/pomfret, chicken, atta-maida roti with ghee, rice with ghee, thick creamy soup, paneer/soyabean cutlet. 2. Drink 2-3 litres water daily. Avoid drinking water just before/ along with the meal. Keep 1/2-1 hr gap 3. Practice resistance exercises in gym for building lean body mass.

Endura Mass is not bad but not a permanent solution for weight gain. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

1. For increasing weight ...First we have to work on ur digestive system..It will do Aam pachan and will increase ur digestive power and appetite.... 2. Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.. 3. Take small meals 4-5 times a day.. 4. Eat healthy n light food .. 5. Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert.

It is not necessary to do exercise at the same exact time. Morning to midnight, anytime is best time. Body will benefit with any exercise. However creating a disciplined daily morning routine of exercise helps you stay on track and it becomes a lifelong habit and it is easy to follow.
